The movie was entertaining the whole way through. This film tells the story of a hard working builder who gets unemployed, and hence cannot keep up with the mortgage payments and is subsequently evicted

Although this was mostly about subprime lending meltdown which nearly led to world economic depression...it symbolizes just how corrupt the real estate industry is. About time someone made a movie on this corruption.

I had read good things about this film and figured for $10 why not give it a try. It was not a bad film for two big actors in it but the ending was a little underwhelming for an intense film.

This film goes great as a companion to "The Big Short" when it comes to the housing market collapsing. Well worth the watch. Michael Shannon is an underrated phenom when it comes to acting.

I really liked this movie a whole lot. It really showed you all about how the real estate business really works.... plus you can really relate to what was really going on in the movie to actual real life situations!!

Good screenplay, very hard to understand if you don't undersrtand the economy. Michael Shannon is the best part of this movie! He should have been nominated for an Oscar.

I was not sure what to expect with this one. However, I enjoyed the concept of good against greedy in this movie. Definitely gave you plenty of room for thought.

Andrew Garfield and Michael Shannon give excellent performances in this topical story about the collapse of the housing market in Florida and the sleazy business men that took advantage of hard working families.

The cast is the main reason I chose to see this, but the reviews were pretty good too. Ended up being surprisingly good. Michael Shannon is amazing, as always.

Come for the Garfield but stay for the Shannon. Great performances from both actors in a very well paced and entertaining drama.

This is a great film and awesome that best buy has it on blu ray, only thing I wish I had the ultraviolet code but best buy exclusive blu rays do not but still for price a great movie

Very nice picture on the blu-ray disc. Would have liked the addition of the digital code that comes with most discs. Good price for the film.

Another story about what happens when you sell your soul to the devil. I love Michael Shannon and he delivers another incredible performance.

dennis is evicted from his home and finds only chance to win his home back is to go to work with rick who took his home to begin with! becomes more brutal and dangerous as time goes on!

Quite entertaining, but also very sobering; so sad in many ways. Very well acted, very well filmed with a superb transfer. Strong movie!

Great actors a great story alot of people can relate to. Shows the Heartless act of some people and the Desperation people show just to survive. Overall a very good movie.
