I use this to project images on cookies so I can pipe royal icing on them. It works perfectly. It is bright enough to use in a room with the lights on. I have not used this item to project an image or movie on a wall. It's easy to use right out of the box. Love it!

I got this gadget because I saw someone use it to decorate cookies. I am a baker, so I got it for this same purpose. Love it.

Works great. Use this to project images for a cookie decorating business. We already had one and it's been working perfect for a couple years now. Bought this as an emergency back up because it's become critical to the business and they are becoming hard to find so we wanted a backup just incase anything ever happens to our first one.

A ding on the rating because the light dims in and out a bit. And the charge isn't very long.

I purchased this at the suggestion of many people to help decorate cookies. I've only used it a couple of times but I'm very happy with it. I did also have to be an Apple AV adapter to connect my iPhone to it, in addition to an HDMI to miniHDMI cable. Be sure to check the cables you'll need to connect the devices with which you'll be using it. Also, I'd recommend that you get some kind of a stand with it. I thought a regular or mini tripod would work but they aren't cutting it.

Bought this to decorate royal cookies for the font. Not quite as bright on a cookie that i was hoping for, but will do the job. Had to buy google chromecast and additional usb to mini adapter to be able to get it going.

Pocket projector issues

I love the pocket projector but based on the amount of lumens it put out it was not feasible for doing presentations unless you wanted to do them in complete darkness. It would not allow for lights being on in anyway . My clients were unable to take notes which made this useless for me. I do not recommend this product. If they could create one similar with higher lumens and still be in a lower price range they could knock it out of the park !

Yes unfortunately this specific model only has 25 lumens so it would be best in a low light area and also would only be best used for personal use. For presentations I recommend a brighter unit around 150 lumens or more and our other models will have that and still would have the small portable factor.

The Pico LCos Mini Pocket Projector is such a wonderful item. I can project from my iPad, iPhone, and other devices and have a clear, bright picture. This way I do not have to lug around a full size projector that will sometimes give me a clear image.

Using this to help project some art and cookie decorating pictures . Easy set up, but does require additional cords and adapters to be purchased.

Worked great out of the box. Seems a little delicate and the fan hums sometimes. You will want a more stable tripod than the one that comes with it. Dont forget to buy adapter hdmi cables

This little projector is kinda lame. I ended up returning it because it was useless to me. I charged it up fully when I bought it and began to use it. I struggled to get the legs to bend correctly so that the picture was level and focused. It doesn’t come with an HDMI cable, so I had to purchase one and that was an extra $20. I was able to utilize the component cables for sound through my sound bar, which was nice. Halfway through the movie, the projector died. I guess it doesn’t hold a charge enough to watch an entire movie??? Very disappointed. The picture was decent size and quality, but the fact that you can’t use it while it’s plugged in was frustrating. What good is it if it can’t last a few hours? So I took it back and will buy a larger, corded projector.

Thank you for the review and please note for the LED Projector you will need to connect the USB charging cable correctly for it to receive enough power to stay on continuously. As the smaller end will connect to the projector and the other two full sized USB will both need to be plugged in for the projector to receive the correct power as each of them will supply 1A. If not correctly plugged in it will turn off after the battery has been drained.

I bought this item specifically because it said it was easy to connect to Apple devices and I wanted it to project from an I-phone. I had to purchase a separate cable. When the cable was connected and the device was turned on all it ever projected was a blank screen. Going into settings, I selected the proper input. I did not get the "no source detected" message so the projector recognized that it was connected but it still did not work. I tried several times...then I took it back. The instructions said to call the company before taking it back. I didn't bother. If it doesn't work then talking to someone on the other side of the continent isn't going to help.

Thank you for reviewing our LED Pico Projector. I am sorry to hear that you were having problems as It sounds like the mini-HDMI cable picked up the connection but the adapter you used did not send the video signal and that is why you would only see the black screen. We usually recommend the Lighting to Digital A/V adapter directly from Apple so you would not run into any problems like this. Please contact us if you want to try it out again and we would be happy to assist you on getting everything set up and working.
