Nice little chrome book

Battery lasts about 8 hours when surfing web or completing word documents for job. The cpu is fast enough for the intended use and the ram is sufficient.

At that price youll be oressed to find Ryzen 3 and 8gb ram. This thing can handle anything I have thrown at it for being a Chromebook. At full price you're better off buying a full fledge laptop but at sale price this thing is a beast.

This was about as easy as it gets. Miss some keystroke legacy but then I got touch screen, convertible and backlit keys. Pretty good trade.

Wouldn't configure out of the box. Chromebooks usually easy to set up. Sent first one back, replacement shipped quickly, same issue, returned again. Customer service sent email saying it was received but haven't heard from them for about a week. Starting to be concerned about my refund. Our local BestBuy closed, but I felt confident ordering online from them. I don't think I'll risk it again.

stay away from Chrome OS

This computer is slow, very slow. In addition, it will connect to my wifi printer. I am sure there are other issues but I've only had the computer a few days. Oh yeah, keyboard is small hard to type unless you have little fingers. User access is confusing. I can't seem to add additional google products to my home screen. For example, I cant add google voice to my home screen, i have to make a bookmark to use it. again, just go with a windows product. pay a little more, I should have

Chromebooks are different from Windows laptop products in that they are designed to be used primarily while connected to the Internet, with most applications and documents living in the cloud. Because of this they don’t have much for on board storage but they also are not expensive either. Chromebooks run off apps like an Android phone or tablet so you cannot download and install applications or .exe files. If you need to use third party software applications that must be installed on the computer, a Chromebook is likely not for you, where a Windows laptop would suit you better. Close all your apps and browser windows.
