This laptop is awesome and I haven't even had it a month yet! I've seen other reviews calling it a beast and while it's pretty true, I call it the Mothership because of all of it's bells and whistles. Acer/Predator really made a a gaming desktop into a true gaming laptop! Not only is it great for gaming but also for running photo editing software/apps, movie editing software and as I also use it for writing and it runs all of my writing software. Yes, it is on the large size in a world full of paper thin laptops but the fans and hyperdrift keyboard make it great because unlike a lot of other gaming laptops it doesn't get too hot and the RGB ligthing is great you can choose from preloaded color combos or completely customize each key in a different color. The battery life does last about 3 hours only but this laptop was meant more or less to be treated like a desktop gaming pc, so it stays plugged in most of the time but there are things you can do to make the battery life last longer if you're just browsing the internet or other simple tasks. It's the best laptop I've owned yet and I've had a lot of laptops. If you're a gamer this is the laptop for you. It's game time Predators!!!

This laptop is literally a gamers paradise. It runs fast and smooth. Frames are off the charts. And the sliding keyboard that auto overclocks the GPU is flawless.

So, awesome laptop, with all the shinny lights and flashing keys, beautiful show, the noise, the sliding keybord, etc This machine has power. And the Internet connection feels like it has increased significantly. Sadly, I bought this thing to play my favorite game WoW and I couldn't make it work. I know lots about computers, I made sure all system updates were up to date, same with gpu, Google answers, tryed absolutely all steps mentioned by other users. 5 days trying to play this game, which my older laptop plays with no issues, tring my best of fixing it, re rolling gpu to previous version, updated after, etc etc etc. I shouldn't go through this hassle, didn't serve it's purpose. Returning it.

I bought this to replace an old all in one computer. I don't plan on using it as a portable computer, but rather as a home only unit. It suits all our needs as a home computer and high end gaming rig. The monitor quality is beautiful and the slide out keyboard makes it very comfortable to use. We're very happy with it.
