I've had the HP Predator laptop for a few months now and it's been a fantastic experience. The laptop itself has a fantastic build quality and looks great too. The keyboard is comfortable to type on and the trackpad is great as well. Performance-wise the laptop performs incredibly well with its Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB RAM. The graphics card is also great for gaming and media applications. In terms of battery life and I've been able to get around 5 hours on a full charge. Overall I'm really happy with my HP Predator laptop and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Received it about a week ago and haven’t had the chance to check it out until today. Got steam up and running and this thing is a beast. Very loud tho which is expected. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because there’s a crack in the space bar. Not sure how that happened but I’m going to try and reach out to acer about getting a new one sent (space bar) as I do not want to return the whole item. Everything works fine on it otherwise. Also I was bummed to find out it’s not per key RGB I thought it was but must’ve got confused with all of the other predators I was looking at. For $900 (got it on sale) it is more than reasonably priced.

This thing really packs a punch in a small package. I’ve used this machine with no issues for high demand 3D rendering as well as playing FIFA 23 on Steam with no issues whatsoever. Build is sturdy and materials appear to be high quality. Battery life not so great when running high performance, but that is to be expected. Overall very satisfied with this purchase!

I got this laptop for $958 when on sale.
That’s a steal according to me. The laptop doesn’t even sweat while playing AAA titles and also photo and video editing is pretty smooth. 165hz screen is an added bonus. The battery life is great and the overall aesthetics and design are amazing. I would definitely recommend this laptop to anyone if it’s below $1200.

This computer is excellent. I use it to edit videos and play Fortnite. It runs well. It can get hot if it doesn’t have proper ventilation at the bottom. For that I just need something to set it on. I don’t recommend that being your lap. My gaming mouse and headset hookup nicely to the USB ports. The Bluetooth also works amazing with my Bluetooth headphones. We’ve even hooked up a karaoke mic to the computer. The battery dies quicker than I’d like but I’ve had this laptop for almost a year now and it was worth it!

The acer predator triton 300 se has been a extremely fast and portable laptop with a extremely fast and bright 165 hz ips panel. The laptop allows for gaming at high settings in most games with decent fps. This laptop has a great aluminum chassis. A few places the laptop lacks though are the keyboard and potentially the battery life. I have not fully tested the battery, but while gaming, windows estimates the battery life to be about 4 hours. But most of the time you will most likely not be gaming while not plugged in. The keyboard feels slightly crammed for the size of the laptop, with a column of keys on the right specifically for gaming controls, with a dedicated key to open the predator software, and a few keys for volume and microphone controls. While gaming, the laptop also gets really hot (which should be expected) and the fans get extremely loud while trying to keep it at good temperatures. Overall, a extremely good laptop for almost anything, great for professionals, gamers, and casual users especially during the 600$ discount.

This is a great laptop. The performance is amazing for the prices. I got it for 1065$. It's fast for everyday tasks and ideal for portable gaming. The design is great and very elegant for a gaming laptop. You can bring it to work meetings and not be ashamed of colorful lights. The screen is not hdr but is sharp and very good overall. For me size is perfect. Temperature is ok, but you must use it with a stand so air can flow. If you don't, temperature will increase quickly. The only bad thing is the battery. Read with attention. Is a laptop to be used plugged on. Great cpu and gpu requires a lot of energy so the battery run out fast, Don't expect to have energy more de 2 hours in the best scenario. Other than that, it's a great pice of tec.

I've been using this for about a month now, and it is pretty much exactly what I was looking for in a laptop of this size. With it being a 14", lightweight gaming laptop, there are obviously some compromises that need to be made, but I think they did a good job of balancing everything.
Great:
-Great screen: screen looks great, 165hz refresh is nice and smooth, gets plenty bright.
-Performance: I don't know how they managed it, but they crammed a 20 thread cpu into this thing. It being a laptop cpu, it still won't perform on the same level as a desktop cpu, but for any multithreaded workloads, it can handle them easily enough, and single threaded workloads benefit from intel's typical prowess there.
-Size/Looks/Build Quality: this laptop looks great and is lightweight and compact without compromising too much on performance. Feels very well built, hinge is sturdy and doesn't wobble much
Okay:
-Touchpad: touchpad isn't the biggest in the world but it gets the job done. Tracks motion well and the included fingerprint scanner is a nice touch
-Battery life: battery life is passable, but does seem to suffer from the typical 12th gen gaming laptop battery issues that have been reported in other laptops. Being able to charge through the thunderbolt port is a nice touch and means you don't always need the stock charger, though even that isn't too bad in terms of gaming laptop chargers.
Lighting: keyboard has rgb if you're into that. It does look pretty good, but it's 3 zone rgb rather than per-key.
Fans/Temps: fans can get loud like with any gaming laptop, but it's mostly a good balance between heat and noise. No real complaints here.
Not so great:
-Keyboard: the keyboard is pretty lackluster. The keys are small and don't feel great. It's usable, but I'm spoiled by thinkpad keyboards.
-Power mode optimization: the power modes all work well when plugged in with the stock charger, but as soon as you use anything else, even a 100w usb-c charger, performance gets a lot more spotty, even if the workload doesn't hit 100w. Not sure why this is and it's a minor annoyance at best, but something to watch out for.
Overall, I am pretty happy with this laptop and it filled my want for portable gaming without being too bulky while still providing good performance. The only real competitors in this size class are the Asus Zephyrus G14, Alienware x14, and Razer Blade 14. Alienware and Blade are both much more expensive for not much different internals, and Alienware has the typical Alienware aesthetic. G14 is often closer in price, but offers AMD cpu and gpu, which might be a dealbreaker based on your workloads.
This laptop strikes the perfect balance between portability and performance without too many compromises.

It's really crazy what kind of performance you can get on a little laptop these days. I needed a laptop that's light weight to carry around and small enough to fit on my little desk for when I want to use it as a desktop pc. I would much rather have this over a mac because of the fact it can run games at high settings. This was a great deal for 899 when it was on sale; I dont think I can recommend it at 1500 though.

I bought this as a surprise gift for my fiancé. HE LOVES IT. He’s in school for IT and coding stuff and loves to game, so far it’s perfect for all of that. The light up keyboard was a great feature and you can control the fans which I thought was cool. He loves the speed, the display, battery life could be better but he loves it.

Got this on sale tax free for $899. For that price it was a steal of a laptop. Can run Warzone 2.0 at 90+ Fps easily. Screen looks great. It doesn’t get THAT hot honestly and the fans are ehh, normal I guess. Overall great buy. RGB is another plus.

While this laptop is on the priceier side you get a great all around laptop! The RTX3060 and i7 are a huge combo for gaming or daily tasks. I bought this as a work laptop for video and photo editing and its outstanding, the only thing i wish it had as an extra ram slot so i could upgrade it from 16 to 32gb. Other than that its a solid choice for any creator or gamer on the go
