Great for internet use and small applications

I'm a teacher with a really far commute to work each day. With that being said the size and weight is perfect for travel and getting work done on the train. The down side is the operating system is not windows based so those applications don't run on this computer. That can be quite annoying when you need to create with power point, excel or word

If you need a chromebook for distance learning with your kids, this is a great device. Lightweight, great battery life, good camera. If you plan on having several accounts on the device, you may need to find a device with more storage. We had 5 accounts on the device and we had to remove a few to free up some storage. Great purchase!

The Chromebook Is a great computer with various features most of which you don’t have to pay extra for. It is very versatile and allows you to be able to switch from a laptop setting to a tablet. It is lightweight and small allows you to be able to take it anywhere and to do various functions without having to worry about the expensive cost definitely worth investing into.

When distance learning became the requirement, the plans we had to buy a new laptop for my freshman accelerated. I had picked out a different model, but when he saw the 2-in-1 feature he was sold. As it turns out, it has been a great buy. We use it with a second monitor and it works well. Camera is good and in this day of class by zoom, it is a actually a great little laptop. No complaint on the speed or performance. It does what it should and does it well. Would buy again. A note of interest...the silver model was like 10-20% higher in price. I compared specs and black vs silver was the only difference. The black looks great. Bought a replacement plan with the extra 20% for silver.

This is my 2nd purchase of this Chromebook. I bought the first one to take with the family on a cruise so the children could have something they could watch while going to bed. Then COVID-19 happened and needed another for my boys to do their schoolwork on. I'd recommend this Chromebook to anyone! Great buy!

Once we found out that the elementary school was going online, we decided to get these chromebooks. We felt wise purchasing these devices on sale. We actually like these. They are durable and the 180 degree flexibility is an added bonus. The kids operate this easily and rarely have any difficulty doing anything on these machines. They can definitely take a beating. The only cons are expected with the price of such a device. The resolution is a little below what I like and with the Celeron processor, do anticipate that there will be a little delay in loading pages or google office applications. The trackpad does also leave a bit to be desired but is easily overcome with the touchscreen that the kids navigate better than I do. Since the purchase was for the kids as opposed to myself, this is a win on all fronts.

I usually buy iPads, however with schools closing due to COVID, my daughter requested a chrome book to do her work on, that is what she uses at school. We have had this model for a few weeks, and I use it as much as her! We love it, the touchscreen is awesome, user friendly. I love it!

My grandsons have had tablets but with schools being out for the remainder of 19/20 school year, my oldest grandson needed something else. It was easy to set up and is easy to use. This has worked great for his homework and for fun and educational apps. I would definitely buy again.

This has been great! Kids can use it for school, I can do everything I normally do from home like email or search on the internet. I like how it syncs up with my phone so I can send text messages on it. I also like that I only need to lightly tap the pad once rather than push down on the pad til it clicks in order to make a selection. Camera is reversible, ports on both sides. I don't use the touch screen much but probably would be good for games. And, it's not so expensive or too big that I won't mind letting the kids take it to school if they need to!

I bought two of these for my twin daughters in 5th grade to have a dedicated device to do their remote schooling and not be distracted by other apps on their iPads... so glad I did we just log into the Chomebook with their school account and everything downloads automatically to look just like what they had access to in the classroom. Got these on a discount but may have paid full price... Dual cameras so it works in laptop or tablet mode... Antimicrobial Corning Gorilla Glass... just enough horsepower to do the basic web apps, zoom meetings, and google docs for school. And they decorated the case with their vinyl stickers.
