Since the characters mostly are authentic soldiers, the true demeanor of a soldier comes through. They aren't glamourized with fake bravado, but real valor and a sense of true danger comes through. The end is sad, yet the good guys win. Some of the battle scenes are visually captivating. A definite must for any movie collection.

I thought it an excellent idea to use actual Navy Seals to act in this movie. My son and I were in awe to know that the actors were actual Navy Seals. The actual manuevers during combat by these Seals was absolutely believable. Glad we have the Navy Seals on our side.

Not the best acting I've ever seen but I love that it was real seals that are acting in the movie. The things they can do and the weaponry they have access to is incredible and inspiring. The story line is decent and reminds us of what these true heroes give up to insure our democracy, two thumbs up and thank you for your service!

This movie begins with a good plot and excellent action scenes. When inserted into Mexico it drags a little but ends at a emotional and Patriotic grave site. The show ends giving tribute to our fallen finest since 911. A good movie example of the high Honor lived by our troops.

This is one of those Movies that you realize will stay in your memory as soon as you see it. Although some may comment on using Novice Actors, they are true Heroes! This is tribute to the Brave Men and Women who have served this Nation bravely.

This movie really makes think of the unthinkable, however we have to go one day...to me the highlight of the movie is when one soldier writes a letter to a fallen soldiers newborn son reciting Chief Tecumseh poem, sent chills down my back.

Act of Valor contains some of the most breathtaking action scenes put on film in the last few years. With real Navy SEALS being used you get an unprecedented look at how these soldiers operate. While the story and acting are a little weak, you will be hard pressed if you are not moved by this film.

This movie is an eye opener for anyone who doesn't understand or realize the true meaning of a HERO. These brave men and women do all they can to protect us every day, and we need to thank and pray for them every day. God bless them!!!

This was one of the most inspiring movies I have seen in awhile. The camera angles and action scenes were vivid and real. I came away with a real appreciation for our special forces teams that risk their lives every day.

This is the first time I’ve watched this movie. I thought it would be one of those low budget slap together 2 scene throughout the 1 and a half run. It turned out to be a very good military movie. I good elements storyline action and human touch to it.

If your looking for the actors to make it like a Hollywood movie this isn't for you. Because they used actual SEALs you got real life and not much glitz and glamor. This is as close to real and the majority of the public will see. It is worth your time.

This is a true story of the lives of men and women in the US armed forces. No one really knows the tremendous sacrifice they make for our freedom. This movie makes me proud to serve, proud of my fellow military personnel, and proud to be an American.

I personally like war movies being a veteran I can understand the friendships that are created when you join the military and have to depend on the person next to you

It's been around for a while and the acting isn't necessarily polished, but this is a great movie. It's always worthwhile to remember the sacrifices our service members and their families make every day

Act of Valor is a tribute to those men and women of our military who risk everything to protect the citizens of this country, and the world. It depicts a mission by a SEAL team, to eliminate the efforts of a group of terrorists who are attempting to bring Jihad to America. There is the expected success of the mission, and expected loss, that leaves the viewer feeling a bit somber at the end. The acting is decent, and the story line is pretty basic for a film like this. There is a lot of gun fire, explosions, and death (the vast majority on the side of the terrorists). Sometimes I did found it difficult to follow the plot, so a second viewing might be suggested.

This movie is a must own for everyone that likes action movies. It doesn't have the overdone special effects of some modern movie because they are filming what ACTUAL, REAL, Navy SEALS do. That alone makes it an incredible movie to have.

I heard a lot about this movie which is based on true events in which brave Navy Seals are in a race against time in order to stop a terrorist attack. It will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout.

This movie is action packed and has real seal team members doing the action. if you are a american a real american you will love this patriotic movie. god bless america

The acting could have been better but if your a Military loving enthusiast then this is the flick for you. The acting isn't the best but the actual Military application which it provides, more then makes up for that fact.

Another good true to life war story of real heros who did what they had to do for our country. Worth the time and money glade I got this on blurry. If you have home theater it willgive it a good workout.
