Great game. Fun to play with the family. Very easy to learn.

Couldn't pass up getting a second controller for this value

Haven't had issues with the extra guitar at all. It connects to the wifi connector and has worked well with the game. The only thing I don't like is having to take off the strap to charge it on the charging station I also bought with it.

better than rockband 4 and so fun to play with friends

Great once you figure out the trick I will say the dongles SUCK! If you have a Xbox one I will say disconnect the Kinect if you are having guitar issues and it will work fine something messes with the signal

Small buttons and a sticky strum bar make playing as an adult difficult. The whammy bar is also very loose

Had to get a replacement guitar after the one I bought in the combo back started to mess up the strums. You would think they would use better quality....

The guitar I received in the bundle of GH Live I bought was actually broken. I purchased this one at the same time to play with a second person. Activision replaces my guitar free of charge but this guitar worked perfect out of the box and I use it as my primary guitar for the game.

Activision - Guitar Hero Live Guitar Controller. Bought two of these for our nephews for Christmas. They couldn't wait for it to come out. Guitar Hero takes me back to when our son and his friends played it and how much fun we all had. Now they're all grown up and off to college!!

Bought this guitar controller on sale for $10, can't beat that!.. now we have two guitars to play guitar hero. My son loves playing multi-player.

Just as good as the original.. Love the new controller. Game premise is so much better than the original. Look forward to more updates for guitar hero.

I have another one of these guitars that does not work anymore. After googling, it is common for these to have issues with the strum bar and buttons. You can manually fix it or fix under warranty. This one has held up for now.

This is the new controller for guitar hero live. It is a new style but playing is just as fun as it used to be.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift. It was much cheaper at Besy Buy than it was anywhere else.

Although many reviewers (on Amazon and elsewhere) have experienced difficulties and problems with the new Guitar Hero Live guitar, my two work like a charm. I had no problem pulling the guitar out of the box and hopping right into the game and after about 50 hours of gameplay, I have no issues with the strum bar. The only drawback I see with these guitars is that they require a usb dongle that plugs into your system in order to connect to be connected. So, while it is wireless, it isn't necessarily less annoying. The process for connecting them isn't difficult, but when you have other things plugged in to you console, it is bothersome to have to take those out in order to play. The only other observation I have is that it is sometimes difficult to activate hero power. While there is a button you can push to activate hero power on the body of the guitar, right below the "strings" section, that isn't always the easiest thing to push while playing. You can also tilt the guitar, as per usual, but I have noticed that the flicking action that many people are familiar with, just doesn't cut it. I find I have to slowly tilt the guitar up until it is pretty much vertical and hold it there for a couple seconds before it is recognized as triggering hero power. Overall, the guitar does its job.

The addition of 2 levels of buttons makes for a much more realistic feeling than before with a single row of buttons. It is a great guitar controller!
