All information was not transferred
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.They transferred some of the data, but lost my newly created Word Documents (Christmas Letter) which they assured me was transferred. They also only transferred a couple of my hundreds of photos. Luckily I still had my old laptop so my photos could be transferred. I did not have Word on my old laptop, so my Christmas files were lost. In answer to following question, I would only recommend this service with very specific instructions and be sure to not wipe out the old computer until it has been verified.

Geek Squad representative extremely professional.

Disappointing service regarding data transfer.

I requested that they import all of my bookmarks/favorites from my old computer to my new one. No one there was capable of accomplishing that task even after 4 trips back to the store. When I contacted Geek Squad online, they were able to instruct the store team how to set up my old hard drive to do it. The online team then completed the task from my home in about 20 minutes and transferred every one of my bookmarks.

Can't EVER live without Geek Squad

So helpful and knowledgeable and I will continue to patronize and recommend them :)

Help with Wks documents on Windows 10

Huge number of documents in Window 7 wks transferred but not usable on windows 10. Was given an on line source for changing these documents into a doc format, which was appreciated.

Geek squad was to integrate new Ipdad.

I do not believe that the geeks squad was worth the time and trouble for me. Maybe someone else. I would not recommend them if you have any other options
