Adobe continues to remain on top! With Acrobat Pro DC, you’re able to create, convert, edit, and sign PDF documents from any device! It also now has tabs for all your open PDF docs rather than multiple windows. All the tools are in one place and the editing functions are amazing! You can add text to a doc even if you don’t already have that font! WOW! With Pro, you’re also able to sign pdf documents as well as search docs that weren’t searchable before. Cloud integration is pretty fantastic. You can link your Adobe with dropbox, icloud, as well as one drive. My only complaint is that it’s now only available with a yearly subscription and that is quite pricey. The price is the reason for 4 stars.

Software that puts you in control

I work with a variety of Office documents, as well as PDFs, that I want the ability to edit and modify. In order to do that, I upgraded my Adobe Reader to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.
Downloading the software, signing in to my existing Adobe account, and entering the redemption code was painless. If you don’t have an Adobe ID, it is simple to create one. Once in, you can immediately start to work.
I did take the time to update security settings. Options under security & privacy include: extra security with 2-step verification code, connecting social accounts to access Adobe services, and account recovery. I downloaded the software on two computers as that is what my subscription allows, but I can access my files in my document cloud as I go between them. Storage accounts to add include Dropbox, OneDrive and Sharepoint.
I encourage people new to Adobe Acrobat Pro to take the quick tour to become aware of what you can do with the program if unfamiliar with the expansiveness of the options, which include:
1. Going mobile – create, export and sign PDFs with the mobile app.
2. Edit PDFs (text and images) with the tool. Acrobat will automatically match fonts, colors and style.
3. Organize pages (insert, rotate, delete pages in the PDF). Drag and drop to reorder.
4. Get e-signatures with Send for Signature tool. Track, manage and archive files online.
Though it sports a user friendly interface, if you still need more support before getting stated, there are many extremely helpful tutorials available for Beginners and Experienced Users under Learn & Support https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/tutorials.html. To me, it is worth one’s time to take 10 minutes a week to watch one or two of these to remind you of the options or to show you how to do things quicker and more efficiently.
My first use of Acrobat Pro was to save a Word doc with graphics to PDF, then make edits. Options when saving included Send and Track before printing (if several people need to review). I liked the ability to remember text from previous work in the document and auto-fill, similar to Excel with text in cells. Once I gained familiarity with the tools and I customized the tool pane on the right and the quick tools bar on top to make editing go faster. Taking multiple documents and combining them into one was so convenient. That used to take me lots of time and leave me so frustrated. Each time I use this program, I am amazed about how much I can change and edit to suit my needs. Adobe Acrobat Pro gives me so much flexibility in managing my documents. I can see myself renewing my subscription in a year because I won’t be able to give up this control.

These guys are the ones who made the PDF, so it would be expected that they are the best when it comes to programs regarding pdfs. For people who deal with business documents in PDF, this is a must.
You can create PDF from nearly any file type. You can comment on them. You can sign them. You can edit them! The editing features was the best. That is probably the most frustrating part when it comes to dealing with PDF but no more! The "downside" is that there are so many features that I don't know about or use. They fit my needs perfectly for a business.

Adobe Pro DC is the best version of Adobe I've used. This application is a must have for creating professional documents that can be viewed on any platform. Adobe Pro DC provides powerful features that allow you to create, edit, or save PDF documents. You can also convert a variety of file types to PDF. You can even combine multiple PDFs into a single document.
One of my favorite features is the cloud integration. Now you save your files and access them from anywhere.

This software is great. It is intuitive to use and while I am still learning all that it can do, it is very powerful and can do a lot. From creating and editing pdfs this is great. I wish that it came with a "manual" to guide users through working with the software, especially installation. You have to install Adobe Creative Cloud before you can actually download the Adobe software. It took a little bit of effort and time but was well worth it.

Program is great, beware of the install!

Acrobat Pro DC 1-Year Subscription - Mac|Windows has a long history of being the go-to software for PDF documents. This is the first time I attempted to install this product via download and registration code however rather than a direct installed product at work.
I have to admit that the download and program runs flawlessly, but the install was a nightmare as the registration code was entered and their registration website timed out before completed the registration. I attempted to repeat the process as the program did not complete the process only to discover that the registration code was no longer valid since it had "already been registered by another user."
I was unable to reach a person via the phone so I had to fumble my way through their online chat to get the error corrected. On Adobe's side, it showed I had registered, but on my side, the program would not work as it was unregistered. After over an hour of uninstalling, redownloading, and trying to do this all via online chat, I was finally able to get the program to work.
After this, it worked flawlessly.
PROS
- Read, Create, Edit, E-Sign, and Scan PDFs with this software via the Adobe Document Cloud
- Does not require an optical drive to install on your computer if you download the software
CONS
- Ensure you have a very secure internet connection or the time to work with the Adobe tech if their website times out as your registration number will no longer be valid
- Costly, but necessary for real PDF access
Other than the install frustration and wasted time, this is a great program.

I'll begin by saying installation of this software was very simple although the process was a little lengthy. I've used adobe acrobat for years and I have to say figuring out how to use the program has not been simple. Now with the addition of Acrobat Adobe Pro I can load a PDF file and edit it with ease. This program really simplifies utilizing Adobe. This program is a must for Adobe users, you'll be happy to have it loaded on your device.

As a user of Adobe software for many years, this product continues to keep Adobe in the fore front when it comes to editing, converting, scanning and reading of PDF documents. I especially like how comprehensive this program is. The program once downloaded, requested to make Adobe my primary user of PDF documents, which converted all my scanned documents and saved PDF's effortlessly. Thus far, the program is intuitive with interactive applications that will help you in learning and doing new things. Suffice to say, whether you’re a novice or expert user this program will integrate seamless!

Excellent Intuitive Document Processing

This program is outstanding. You will realize the power of Adobe Acrobat DC once you begin using it. An excellent way to start is to use the provided tutorials and built in ‘Help’ facilities; and also you can rely on YouTube videos for help. I have always been aware of PDF files and the free ‘reader’ and the fact you can’t edit them unless you have the editor that costs. But the cost is justified based on the abilities you will now have. Acrobat DC does allow you to create, export and sign PDFs anywhere. You will want to take advantage of the free Adobe Creative Cloud for storage.
The design of the program is very smart, for example when you edit text the program will match the fonts automatically including colors and styles. You can organize pages and easily rotate pages as needed or drag and drop to re-order content.
You can track and manage files and also get e-signatures to record that a document got a sign-off if needed – more of a business function, but it’s in there. You can convert Word and Excel files into PDFs. Operations are very intuitive especially if you are used to other tools like Adobe Photoshop Elements or MS Word. Tutorials you’d want to view are at: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/tutorials.html#fundamentals
I recommend this program if you have been frustrated with getting PDFs that you want to alter or if you basically need the ability to create and edit PDFs. It is well worth the effort to view the excellent tutorials provided by Adobe or others to become expert yourself.

I use this all the time and the newest version is just as good. I create original forms in WORD, and then save as a PDF. When I need to send a form to a tenant, I copy the PDF version, enter date/name/etc. data specific to the tenant in to the PDF, and save then email the PDF. Saves space on my hard drive. Easily emailed and opened by everyone receiving the document.

A must have for PDF users

Most of us have used PDF documents for years, as it has become the document standard for sharing and sending documents. The basic tools are handy for things such as highlighting and adding text boxes. The main frustration with the basic tools is that one simply cannot edit the document.
Acrobat DC adds editing features and makes using the PDF format very nice. I pulled up old documents and was able to highlight, add text, edit existing text, add check boxes, circle sections, add bullet points, add initials and finally, I was able to add my signature to the document.
Having a Windows' Pen and the Ink addition to the OS makes this very powerful and fun to work with.
I was able to edit the PDF document from within the Adobe environment, but there is also an option to export the file to other document products such as Microsoft Word.
This will remain part of my software library for years to come. I wish I had this product when I was in college. Adding notes and marking up the document would have been a great way to save my thoughts while studying. I would say the same for adding thoughts to work documents, quotes and proposals while reviewing them.
The price is steep for an annual subscription, but it's worth it if you are going to use it.

I’ve used this for just about a week, I felt it really would not be fair to try to give a review without really spending some time with it. I’ve used Adobe reader for PDF files for several years with no complaints. But now that I’ve used Acrobat Pro I really didn’t know what I was missing. Creating PDF’s, Completing PDF forms, and organizing PDF files, this does it all. I’ve really enjoyed creating PDF documents out of the several files I’ve hod sitting on my hard drive for some time now. In my business, I have to create custom forms for everything and Acrobat Pro handles it well.
The software UI is easy to navigate. There are several videos available for everyone from the beginner to the expert, I’ve watched them all and would recommend that everyone do the same.
So far I love it, but realistically one needs to use this for a few weeks to really get the feel of what it can do. I’d recommend this to anyone who works with or needs to create PDF documents.

My Go-To PDF creator and editor

I'll stay off my soapbox till the end:
I love ACROBAT. I couldn't live in the digital world without the PDF. Acrobat DC allows me to scan directly into a PDF and manipulate the file as I see fit. Powerful OCR, text and graphic editing options allow for quick updates and revisions without the original software the file was created in. ( I tried it editing names misspelled in our monthly newsletter.)
Handy STAMPS help mark documents like DRAFTS, CONFIDENTIAL or APPROVED BY. Even a signature stamp option.
You can rearrange pages within the file even move pages between different files. Scan directly to a saved file to. Try it, I know there is more that I haven't even tried yet.
* The new subscription structure seems to be the norm in the software world today. There are pros and cons to each.
PRO: you always have the latest version and tools. Option to pay for only the product and time you need it.
CONS:To stay current you pay the annual or monthly fee. Is that really a con?
Lost a star in it took a long time for me to get the software downloaded, sign up, then installed.

I am absolutely a huge advocate of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC. Being a real estate agent and a photographer I am constantly sending out contracts or documents and Adobe Acrobat has completely simplified how I handle my documents in the workspace. Coupled with Dropbox it is an absolute game changer. The ability to send out documents now for signature and the ability to add photos to PDF in an instant makes your smartphone a digital scanner everywhere you go. Gone are the days of needing scanner printers and copiers in a big office. With Airprint now available all you need is a wireless printer and you're golden! I love the flexibility of this app. Digital Id's are great along with direct ink and the improved functionality on the mac as well has helped aot. I'm still finding new features everyday that make this app more useful. I will always subscribe to it and highly recommend it.

This is a great tool to have for business owners and professionals who have a need to edit pdfs, create forms and many other features that you won't be able to get from other downloadable programs online.
Working in the print industry for many years and having to sometimes use subpar software from questionable companies in order to do anything other than print pdf's, this is a very welcome addition to my business.
I have created forms, easily edited pdf's and used many of the other services that are offered with Adobe Pro DC.
I think it is worth the cost and have already included it in my budget for next year. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone in an industry who does not have a pdf editing software. Don't waste your time and money on a product that is inferior. This will do the trick and the cost is small in comparison to what you get.

I installed the software on my mac mini. I had a feeling it was only going to let me install it on one machine, but many of Adobe's products allow for two machines. I use my Windows 10 desktop for most of my classwork and I was hoping to install it on that machine as well. Since I am reviewing the product, I figured maybe I could write a review on the different machines, but that didn't work out.
So it's on my Mac mini. It's not the base model so it runs fairly decent. No spinning rainbow wheel very often. The product cames sans disk. It had a link and a key, which was all I needed. The product downloaded fast and installed with no problem. I entered the keycode given and tada..access until the end of next year. That works great for me as I should graduate in July. The product looks like it will work just fine. I haven't used it very much as I didn't have any pdf's that I needed to view or edit. I imagine it will do exactly what I need it to next semester.

The Complete Swiss Army Knife for PDFs

Acrobat Pro DC is the clear choice for those looking for a complete set of features when working with pdf files. Not only are the features there, but you know you can rely on them to work - thanks to the fact that Adobe is the creator of the pdf format.
However, if you don't need ALL of the bells and whistles, there are some other, feature rich, choices available that are steadily improving.
As a Mac user, my biggest beef with Acrobat Pro is the frustratingly unintuitive user interface that requires more clicks to get things done. As a result, the learning curve is larger with Acrobat Pro than with other programs. I so wish Adobe would revamp it's flagship programs with modern interfaces to match their power. Sadly, I'm used to this weakness with Adobe software and accept it as the trade-off required if you need the power of a complete feature-set. In that case, Acrobat Pro is the only choice offering the full toolbox.

Currently, I am an avid Adobe user and I use for work (military) and my personal business. The best part for me about this software is it allows you to capture and open military/business documents that involve single sign on or CAC enable signatures. This is an excellent addition for the business savvy that are up in times with current software.
Another great addition to the software is the ability to edit, create and fill in documents that were once static. With this option, it is easy to edit, export and import documents from other formats like iWorks, Microsoft Office or other scanned documents. I can pull any document, covert to Adobe .pdf file and sign and send off!
Would I recommend to friends and family? Absolutely.
Would I buy again? Yes!

Great import functions and editing capabilities but what else can you expect from Adobe. But the bottom line is while cheaper than a stand alone non subscription purchase for the first two - three years, after that you begin to lose.
I love adobe and use their product often but feel I rather prefer a one time purchase and run that till I am in need of any newer enhancements from later versions of the software. I can get easily 5 or more years from a prior version before even thinking of upgrading.
In addition there are many free or close to free apps and software that do a lot of what Adobe does though you might have to use multiple software/apps to achieve the very polished look of the adobe product.
Four stars based on the adobe quality, speed, user interface and ease of use but ugh to the new wave of software subscription services.
