    Adobe photoshop and Lightroom

Last year I received a canon t7 for Christmas as my interest grew in learning photography which I’ve always loved to take pictures of landscapes and such. I’m a beginner so it’s the perfect model to learn on. I won’t lie but it was challenging at first with learning the exposure triangle, aperture, focusing and learning manual mode. I was told, it’s the best way to start off even though it may be hard and challenging at first once all the information you understand the easier it is. My photos at first definitely needed some editing and more practice. As with time, they improved a lot as a beginner from more advanced photographers gave me feedback. as for photoshop and Lightroom, not very difficult to learn and use once you know what to edit what tools to use, etc. Years ago in high school, we did have a computer’s graphics class and it was taught to use photoshop and illustrator. I did forget a lot of stuff, with watching tutorials, searching online, reading some books on photoshop, Lightroom and photography. Things started to come back. I still need to learn more and great better at it. I enjoy it a lot. Before this I worked all the time and had no time for extra hobbies, and things that I did have hobbies with either I outgrew them, or just wasn’t interested enough anymore. This was something I always wanted to do. I practiced all of last year with taking photos of objects, my dog, landscapes, my Jeep wrangler, some I haven’t learned yet. I’m sad though this whole year I haven’t even touched my camera or edit any photos, are still in my computer that I never got to. With working full time and a lot of hours in my profession, unfortunately I didn’t have extra time and some days l was in a rut. I’m going to start up again, probably have to do a lot of reviewing and teach myself stuff again. It’s ok though. I don’t have any experience with portraits, people, night photography, long exposure or micro, macro and I’m sure there are many more. I will be renewing my subscription again and going to try to fit some time in again to take some photos. Winter is hard for me too as I don’t like being in the cold, I did see some gloves for photography that keep your finger out of glove. I am very happy and extremely excited I purchased this. I will post a few photos I have taken. My favorite are black and white photos in general any kind.

    Great photo editing combo

I contemplated doing an outright purchase of Adobe Light room instead of the subscription for Adobe LightRoom and Photoshop. I am glad I did the subscription. I get both for a very fair price and any updates are immediately available. I take a lot of photos in raw and jpg, and this combo is perfect for that. Light room is very easy to use once you get to know it. Photoshop is a lot but has everything I need and I don't mind having more than not having what I need. Another subscription plus is the mobile side of things. I can download my photos to my tablet which has Light room mobile on it and it will sync with my laptop. Lightroom mobile is included with the subscription and I would be lost without it now. You can use mobile lightroom to edit your photos and send to friends or whatever. You can even upload to the Creative Cloud if you want to and is included with the subscription. Lightroom mobile is a lite version of the full product but has a lot of features and is extremely easy to use. I love using it to do quick touchups and then send to my wife so she can share with her friends and family. I live that I can work with my photos on my camera using Lightroom on my laptop. Simply connect the camera to the laptop, launch light room and do your thing. Overall, I am very happy with the subscription and will definitely renew when the time comes. Oh and I don't have to hunt for my software CD/DVD anymore. Simply download with Creative Cloud manager and have fun.

Buy In Store (Ordered online, code came inactive)

This is my first experience with Lightroom and Photoshop. I ordered the code card online when I purchased a new laptop. It came inactive, super frustrating. Spent 40 minutes on the phone with a customer service rep that in the end couldn't help. I ended up driving a hour (one way) to the closest store to return and exchange it. That code was valid. For the program itself, downloading each program is a little irritating and time consuming. Lots to learn and really good tutorials to get ya started.

I bought this program in response to losing my 'owned' version of Photoshop CS6 due to failure of my Windows 7 computer. I don't like having to use programs with a subscription. However, this was the next best way to have Photoshop for editing hundreds of photographs. I do like it better than CS6 because of improvements like Camera Raw is now a filter within CC and I use it with layers to edit most images.

    Pretty Good

This is a fairly inexpensive way to get the use of Photoshop and Lightroom, but you need to understand that you will not own the program. This is essentially a one-year subscription to these programs, and you will need to resubscribe if you want to continue using the programs after the year ends. There are pros and cons to using the software this way versus purchasing the incredibly expensive software. People have different opinions on this, but if you're like me you can't afford the full versions of the software, and with the subscription system you won't cringe when the newer versions come out. That being said, Photoshop and Lightroom are outstanding programs. Photoshop is the industry standard and will allow you to manipulate images in just about any way you can imagine. Lightroom is more of an organizer type of software that enables you to do editing and sharing. One of the nicer features about this version is that you can use your mobile device, and it will sync with your desktop. You also will be sure that you have the most recent versions of Photoshop and Lightroom. This is an ideal option if you need Photoshop and Lightroom and don't have lots of money.

    Good But Expensive

The apps you get in this program (Photoshop and Lightroom) allow you to do some pretty incredible things to your pics. However, for nearly $100, and you only get access for 12 months - I think that's a bit too expensive for most. Whatever happened to the days where you could just buy software, and the software wouldn't expire after a year?

This is a lot to learn , but i fee the soft-wear will meet my needs. I had to have Best Buy replace my first purchase because code invalid. I had to drive to Best Buy , to exchange . adobe could not refund or assist in my problem. Best Buy customer service has a lot of training needed. Not sure about buying adobe products. Hassle but a necessary soft wear.

Light room has become my go to for all my editing projects! Very easy to use and creates some amazing photos. I like the classic version myself but the cc version is great too. It’s great that you can purchase a year subscription now instead of paying a lot of money for the program. Photoshop is great also! Lots of fun to use. My children also enjoy using it.

It does not matter if you are a novice or a pro photographer. You can use this software to enhance or touchup practically any photo. It does come with some online tutorials that practically will show you how to work everything. I just started doing astrophotography and with the help of this software I can really make the Milky Way really pop. So if you are doing anything with photography, you really need this.

I had problems with the code (personal - read an 8 instead of B) and the Geek Squad folks at Best Buy were very helpful. I've had Photoshop and Lightroom for years and love both but wanted to install the newest versions on my new machine.

It took over 4 hours on Adobe chat room to get this installed. Phone support is not available until you get it installed. Problem was I already had Lightroom 6.0 installed on my account, needed new separate account to install. Lightroom is not easy to learn, but once you do it is invaluable tool.
