Wish it was a bit smaller with a mic

I like this one, as my friend who's a trucker now sounds as if she's at home when I call her. I'm bummed as they are a bit bigger then I wanted. I could have bought a smaller one, but it wouldn't have a mic.

I wear my Shokz every day for work, connected to my PC for Zoom / Teams calls and have a 2nd pair I use with my smart phone. They are lightweight, have great sound and leave your ears open for interaction with people around you. These are perfect for anyone who drives for a living or needs situational awareness that in/over-ear designs limit. They last an entire day on a single charge and their noise-canceling mic is excellent. Cons: They sometimes disconnect from their host and I've not found a way to upgrade their firmware.

Love these. the only I wish is that the boom mic could be switched from ear to ear, beyond that the sound on calls is great and I never have an issue with someone being able to hear me nor I them

These allow you to clearly hear what’s going on around you as if you were on a speaker phone. Others have said they hear me clearly on the other end. My use is primarily with my Windows pc for webconference calls although I use it occasionally on my iPhone for the same purpose.
Some considerations:
- Connects to one device at a time, but successfully works on iOS and Windows
- If you have long hair or a hat, using these will require some adjustment or might not be able to use
- The cheekbone are that the device rests on can still feel like they’re on you if worn for hours
- It comes with 1 charger/cord which is unique to Aftershokz. As another reviewer noted, you probably want to buy a second one once you confirm these are a keeper
- The boom mic is on the left side and not moveable to the other side

I have been trying for e week diferet brand of airpods. Samsung, jabra, apple airpods pro. And refused all of them because they were uncomfortable for me. I hate to fill caps in my ears and this was the perfect solution for me.
I didn't know this technology until couple days ago. And after try that one in the show room at bestbuy, I decided to buy mine. If you want perfect listen quality in both sides. And good music quality with high volume. This will be the perfect choise. I never been so happy with a purchase like this.
This is amazing guys.

I want to say I love these, because to an extent, I do. In the older model, it seems like the mic would die a lot. Had two of those do that in the last 3 years. This new model is great so far. We have two of them. I will say I had a way better experience purchasing through BestBuy than I did with my purchase through Shokz themselves. The salesman I felt with at BestBuy was in a bit of a rush, however, when I expressed I was frustrated with this and just wanted him to slow down, he was great. He apologized, we ordered online through the store, and my item arrived a day early.

Great sounding and very comfortable. I get an annoying beep while in teams on mute. I think there is a software update to fix this but haven't done it yet.

Product is very comfortable and rests on your ears without putting any pressure on the skin. The sound is clear. The bone conduction technology takes a few hours to one day to get used to. The person on the other end reports the sound coming through clear and sharp. The only complaint someone gave me while I was talking to them was background noise only because they had air pods in with the volume up too high. Otherwise noise cancellation is great and background noise almost never problematic. Battery life is very long. Excellent purchase. Very satisfied customer.

Use these everyday! For the most part they are comfortable and very flexible. Great sound especially on calls and Teams meetings. I have them connected to my phone and laptop (search online how to do it) and for the most part switching over is easy. When I play a video on my phone audio comes in, as soon as I open a Teams meeting the audio switches over. Same with calls.
Audio quality for calls is great, for music it’s so-so. Not bad, but I’m a bass head so don’t expect the thump you’re use to. They are for the most part comfortable to wear, but do become irritating as the day goes on. The rumble from the ear nodes from high volumes can make you a bit uncomfortable. Not the worst to wear laying down, just need to tilt them up a bit depending on how you lay.
Other issues: Controlling sound levels on a teams meeting. The built in buttons on the device doesn’t control the sound in all cases. When connected to Teams on my iPhone, it works but to my laptop, no.
Also the battery life is ok, not great. Coming from the 16+ hour battery life from Bose was a little troublesome but 8 hours is workable. I charge everyday and haven’t run into any issues, but I do panic when I hear the prompt on the headset say “battery medium” after 5ish hours of use.
Overall great product and worth the price if you work from home or want to stay aware of your surroundings using a quality headset.
Giving 5 stars because no headset is perfect and the pros of the open ear design and clarity of the microphone outweighs any of the issues above. Works flawless in most cases and music sounds great at low-medium levels. Comes with a nice case, but very bulky. It’s somewhere in my closet, but if I ever really need to use it, the headset fits right in with enough space to hold maybe a phone size amount of extras.
Cheers all, hope this review helps

As a salesman Im on the phone mininum 4-5 hours a day. I tried every headphone and earpod, airpod, this and that. Either customers couldnt hear me or battery died on me, my ears hurt i had to take them off etc. I decided to try Aftershokz headset because it offers a new technology. Yesterday it was my first day using them. I started using them wihtout charging them and all day no problem. Sound quality is amazing. No headache or earache. Im a bestbuy elite member so i shop at bestbuy a lot but i dont write reviews often. Im taking my time to do this because im very very impressed.

Sound quality is excellent. I had the aftershokz air for 2 years, the microphone is 1000 times better in a vehicle or noisy environments with the open comm. If you plan to use a headset for phone calls, this is the set for you! Battery life is excellent and the magnetic charging cable works great. This headset is allowed on construction sites, because your ears are not covered. And in most states, it's illegal to drive with headphones in your ears. The bone conduction works great. Only con, I wish the mic was detachable. It can be rotated out of the way, but it's still visible. My daughter said I look like I work at a fast food drive-thru...

The noise cancelation of these is amazing. If someone is talking and they are more than 6 feet away, you cannot hear them at all. If they are closer and not in your face they will be heard, but only faintly.
I have my parrot in my office and she has to be loud for anyone to hear her talking. Her normal noise cannot be heard.
I also love the bone conduction. I am in meetings for up to 7 hours a day. I don't like my ears covered for that long.
So far the charge lasts for a full day of meetings. We will see how that lasts as they age. Also they charge fairly quickly.

''AN EXCELLENT TRUCK DRIVER HEADSET''

''AN EXCELLENT HEADSET FOR A TRUCK DRIVER OR CONSTRUCTION WORKER.'' IT ALLOWS YOU TO WEAR A HAT OR HARD HAT WITH THIS HEADSET. IT KEEPS YOUR EARS OPEN SO YOU CAN HEAR WHATS GOING ON AROUND YOU-MEANING THE BONE CONDUCTION. THE SOUND QUALITY IS GOOD FOR SUCH A SMALL DEVICE AND THE BATTERY LASTS ALL DAY. THE NOISE CANCELLING BOOM MIC, SO FAR, SEEMS TO BE GOOD FROM WHAT OTHERS SAY, THAT I TALK TO. IT IS SMALL AND LIGHTWEIGHT, AND COMES A REALLY NICE HARD CASE. I LOVE THE WAY THE CHARGE CONNECTOR IS MAGNETIC AND CONNECTS ITSELF WHEN IN PROXIMITY OF HEADSET. I HAVE HAD FOR ABOUT A MONTH AND SO FAR SO GOOD.

This Bone Conduction is amaizing, they are perfect to use for long time talking or listening music, podcasts, etc. Noise cancelling is great (better than the most expensive ones), no matter what I am doing the people listen my voice clear and firts plan than noise around. Long lasting battery, confortable to wear. I can recommend strongly enough. I tryed the last month around 5 different brands around similar price and I was keeping returning, tired and disappointed about issues like disconfor wearing, not real noise cancelling, bad sound, etc until my brother bough aftershokz titanium, I got a shok and I did like, looking I found the last lunch founding this ones. Omg I am so so happy are better and perfect.

This a fantastic headset. I already had some Aftershokz Trekz Air headphones, so I knew the bone conduction system would allow me to listen to music or a podcast while walking or biking, without losing my ability to hear traffic, neighbors, or even nearby birdsongs. But the Trekz Air was not so good when I was on the phone; the other side couldn't always hear me clearly.
The OpenComm Headset solves that problem amazingly well. The boom mic is unobtrusive (and can fold out of the way), and my voice can be heard very clearly on the other end. The noise suppression is superb. Once, I even turned on the coffeegrinder, which makes an awful racket, and the person on the other end of the call didn't hear anything at all.
Compared to the Trekz Air, the buttons on the OpenComm are a little larger and easier to find, and I think the sound is a little clearer, especially on the bass end. Also, the loop fits a little closer to my head, so that I can wear the headset comfortably even when I rest my head on a headrest or lie down.
The only thing I have mixed feelings about is the magnetic charging cord. Yes, it works really well, the magnets snap it into position, and the headset charges really quickly. And there is no plug opening that could let water in. But the cord is a proprietary, single-purpose charging cord, and I suspect if I ever lose or damage it, it will be expensive to replace. I would think they could use something like the Qi system; you can find those chargers anywhere these days.
All in all, though, I love this headset. It does everything I want it to. It's comfortable, the mic captures clean sound, and the noise cancelling works very well. I love the that it uses bone conduction, especially since it allows me to maintain situational awareness while listening.

This measures approx 14" around the hoop. Which you can sort of stretch to about 14 1/2 to 14 3/4 if you reanble the sound pads a bit. Wish they had a larger size about 1 inch more would be great for larger heads. Still it's very comfortable and light, easy to forget you wearing it. Excellent sound and mic quality. Also can pair with two devices, like laptop for teams meetings and phone for music between meetings.
