The graphics and gameplay are incredible. Story is engaging and made me jump more times than I can remember. Although you do find a few guns in the game, this is not a shooter. You need to rely on stealth to get you through the game. The alien is amazing! You WILL die...a lot.

The game feels very close to the original movie in a way that makes you feel that you are already in the game itself. I think gamers who are looking for a scary game this Halloween should really want to play and also enjoy the game as well. I should give caution that the game really makes you think about how you should try to survive in a real life or death situation.

Graphic are pretty good for a next gen game. Controls are good with some counter intuitive functions that needs getting used too. Game play is fine. Alien AI is too intelligent on hard mode. Distraction tools have diminishing returns that diminish too quickly. Which a pro and con. Great twist on the stealth shooter IP. Story... Good story with continuity with the original story lines. Good attention to those details that bridges the gap in stories. Voice acting is good... needs a little work on the syncing of voice to mouth graphics. Definitely a good game with replay value. Worth the price, which is more rare these days. Can be a good couples game.

Set your fears aside that this game follows in the footsteps of "Colonial Marines" and then welcome your fears right back in for this atmospheric survival experience. I was doubtful of the decision to only have one Xenomorph as well as the story taking place before the first film, especially considering how the previously mentioned game handled movie continuity, but I have never been so happy to be proven wrong. This stands as the first true survival horror title for the next gen and I can't praise it higher. The choice to go with the vulnerable tone of the everyman from the first film as opposed what has become the standard commando FPS really paid off.

I've buddies that claim this is one of the top 5 all time games for PS4 so far. Check out reviews on other sites; this title tends to get poor reviews from "professional" reviewers, whereas actual gaming communities tend to adore and rave about it. A suspense thrilled much like the first Alien movie. Clever and scary.Brooding and spooky. I love this game and can't stop playing it. This game is now in bargain bins across the country. If you want a sleeper "hit" with a budget, this game won't disappoint. Highly recommended.

Ok first let me say this can be a frustrating game. You never know what will work and what won't when avoiding the alien. One time hiding in a locker works, the next time, you get ripped out of there and killed. It has a very smart A.I. I would say this is something new, goes along with evil within but alot easier. The graphics and sound are amazing. If you like alittle horror in your games this is a fun game.

Oh man, this game is awesome! I can't say enough about it but at the same time I'm at a loss for words to describe it. I haven't been this scared playing a video game ever. My heart was constantly racing throughout the entire game. Absolutely terrifying. Game mechanics are fluid. Graphics stellar. Storyline compelling. Did I mention how scary it actually is? I would definitely not recommend this game for anyone with a heart condition!

There are a few moments where this game captures the feel and spirit of the Ridley Scott classic film. But overall, it felt more similar to me in tone to Bioshock and Dead Space with its failed other-world utopia in space. Which, of course, is not a bad thing. The connections to the original film feel pretty hokey for the most part and are not necessary. I feel the developers could have built a story that stands on its own rather than relying so much on the film. The game gets a little long in the tooth, lasting around 20 hours, again not necessarily a bad thing. But truthfully the game feels like it's his its big climax and is about to end about 8 hours before it actually does. There is a little jumping the shark in the last third of the game. As far as mechanics, overall presentation, and fun go; I would highly recommend this game. Though, for me, it has little replay value.

This game is probably the best game I've purchased in a while! The graphics are great, the story line is just perfect! This is the alien game I've been waiting for in a long time! Idk about you but it definitely had chills running down my back! It's that awesome! It was worth the money I paid here at best buy! Thanks again for your service!

If you're a fan of the Alien franchise, you owe it to yourself to give this game a shot. The story is well thought out and all of the atmosphere of the 1979 original is here. However, it is definitely not a run-and-gun shooter. If you are looking for Call Of Duty: Aliens, look elsewhere.

The game is a new way to experience fear at the tip of your fingers. If you are a big fan of Aliens and have watch the movies in the past then this is a must have well in my opinion its fun to play, more like hide and seek. Hoping to see a sequel in the future.

This game is half the reason I bought a PS4. Really nice environments, fantastic graphics and sound. This game does a really nice job of immersing you into the environments. I love all of the throwback to the first film. They really knocked it outta the park on that aspect. It can get really frustrating when the xeno just keeps dropping in like it's life depended on being lodged directly up your behind. You spend a great deal of time hiding from the thing....and you will die. A LOT.

I like it the cut scenes are a little laggy but the game it self is pretty good it gets kind of complicated with some parts play it on easy first unless your a well experienced gamer that love challenges it doesn't give too many clues of what to do but its still a good game creepy sounds and dark just like the alien movies it keeps you on the edge of your seat its very startling with the music and sounds especially using your headset

This game has an amazing story with amazing graphics to go along with the story. I would highly recommend this game to anyone that is into sci-fi type games and especially with aliens!

this game takes you as if you were in the alien movie being haunted constantly by an alien that will kill you if you get caught. stealth and survival horror for the new gen

Alien: Isolation - Nostromo Edition is the best Alien game to come out on consoles. That is truly not saying much when you play all of the previous games with the Alien moniker. But this game is terrific as a survival horror in space game. The game does move slow at the beginning, but the action does ramp up. I went into this game with little to no expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised by the storyline and the gameplay. Added benefit is the DLC mission of events from the 1979 Alien movie with the voice work of the original actors.

This is a great idea, purchase the item and use it at home :) Haven't gotten that far with it yet

I have always loved the Alien movies, but there really hasn't been a very good or faithful Alien game. This one finally hits the mark. The Alien is always hunting you down and you have to think quick on your feet to get away. The developers were very faithful to the movie franchise and have created a world that will immediately bring you back to the first time you watched the original Movie.

This is a great game. It offers a great story line and amazing graphics.

I've loved the alien movies but the games not so much. So when I heard about this game coming out i wasn't really interested. But after awhile I was reading reviews about it that said it was actually good. So I decided to buy and boy am I glad that I did it's a fantastic survival horror game. Love the game if your thinking about getting this game do it.
