Loaded with everything you need for gaming. Handles everything with ease...At Max/Ultra Settings Have not tried any ray tracing games. but I have it connected with 3 Monitors.... DP Recommended as this model does not have the older DVI ports Hdmi and Display Ports only. DP port is recommended if you are using a high refresh monitor 120Hz or higher.. Has more than enough on board ram and Storage where you won't need a upgrade for some time. Does not include a DVD drive...so you will need to get a external.

2080 Super. Enough said. Lots of space for any upgrades you may need. If you want to upgrade the RAM, just think about tossing the ones that come with it. You will have a hard time finding compatible RAM that comes with the PC. Do a bios update and it will get rid of the fan noise. Cool looking PC.

so this is a great computer so far, have not had any issues whatsoever except that is sounds like a chopper about to take off when it starts to heat up. I've upgraded the ram to 64gb as it comes with 16gb, due to the type of ram Dell puts it you cant just buy additional stick and ad next to the original unless you get it directly from Dell, if you decide to upgrade and add on after market ram you'll have to remove what it comes with and buy a full set of what you wanna put in.

If you are wondering the power supply is 850W, I using my tv as a monitor for now and is working great, would be perfect if it was liquid cooled Pro: 2080 SUPER graphics card, 850w power suply, easy access to the interior, very upgradeable, quiet. Cons: Air Cooler

This system is awesome! I was initially concerned because a couple reviews mentioned loud fan noise. On the contrary... this system runs very quiet. If it's being pushed, the fans can kick up a bit, but the noise is no where near annoying. It is smooth running, and great with graphics.

This Aurora R9 is a great Gaming PC. Its a powerhouse and the graphics are phenomenal with the 2080 Super. This computer is easily upgradeable with a bit of research. Im planning on replacing the OEM Fans because they are a bit loud but other than that its a great computer.

I bought this for Microsoft’s new Flight Simulator 2020. Easy to set up and customize and is loaded with a powerful processor, graphics card, and ram which makes this program get as real as it gets and no more crashes. Also boots up in no time at all.

The Egg shape is quite unique, and very recognizable with the branding on it. It looks sleek and sexy. Unfortunately that's about where it ends. The fan is loud and distracting, I have been able to lag it out, a feat I have tried and failed at on my other desktop. It does not come with an Alienware keyboard or mouse (you would figure for the price that it would be included) definitely not happy with the tower.

This computer is very powerful. Plays any game I can find with no issues whatsoever. Only issue is the noise this thing makes when it kicks butt. Actually now that I think of it, this thing has not been consistent with the noise making, It used to be loud all the time and you would hear the fan spinning or squeaking when it was under high demand. It became noisy regularly after about 2 months of use. That lasted for about a year until I moved and placed an air purifier in the room it lives. Now it is only noisy when it kicks butt. But when I'm idling like I am now while typing this, it is just a low hum/squeak like a group of hamster talking, underwater.

Was loving this machine was using it for VR and other games. Yeah it was a little loud but that didn’t bug me. Now it’s locked up solid. Keyboard and mouse will not respond. Stuck at a nice screen shot of a red rock blue sky and the date and time. Very expensive Clock. Bought it for family Christmas present so not even 2 months old

      RealJFK,

Thanks for your review. We're sorry to hear about the screen freeze that you're experiencing. After doing a hard reset by holding down the power button until your computer restarts, if you are still unable to start up your computer we'd recommend the following steps:

      1. If the computer is displaying the Dell logo and does not move past that point, it has probably failed POST.
      2. If the power indicator lights up and it is amber or orange, this is usually an indicator that it has failed POST.
      3. If you see text on a black screen, the computer is currently performing the POST. If the computer stays in that condition and does not move past it, it has probably failed POST.
      4. If the video screen displayed anything at all during the startup process but is now black, this probably indicates that the computer failed POST.
      5. If the computer is beeping or if Caps/Num/Scroll Locks are flashing, note if there is a particular pattern in which it beeps or flashes.
      6. If the computer is not beeping and caps/num/scroll locks are not flashing, unplug all connections and remove all media communication devices (e.g. external monitors); reconnect one at a time and check if the computer functions.
      7. For a notebook, press and hold the Fn key and then press the power button. This starts the pre-boot testing and will launch ePSA. In case you have a Desktop at the Dell logo screen tap the F12 key to enter One Time Boot Menu and use the arrow keys to highlight Diagnostics and press enter.

What a great machine. This computer performs extremely well. Under high load, the fans do make quite a bit of noise. I think I can fix this by buying some quieter fans and replacing them.

We bought this for our son for Christmas and he was very happy with all the specs that this R9 from Best Buy came with. He has used it every day since he opened it. He says it has everything he needs to create pod casts, online gaming and other things I’m too old to understand. All that matters it that he says it’s awesome. He did purchase a new keyboard and mouse that light up and kept the ones that came with it was backup. We ordered this online for in store pick up. Best Buy had it ready to pick up same day. Pick up at the store easy.

    LOUD, Overheating PC

I purchased this item as an open box and immediately after turning this thing on, you hear just how loud it is. If you do not mind hearing your pc through your noise canceling headphones, then this might be for you. After running a few different games on this pc and checking it’s temps, you can see that it also runs waaaay to hot. The rig in general how very poor circulation and the oem fans that dell puts in here are horrible. If you are dead set on an Alienware and purchase this pc, but it knowing you will have to instal a H75 Corsair AIO water cooler as well as two additional Corsair ml120 (no rbg/led) fans in order to properly cool and quiet this thing down. I do like the Alienware software that makes it very easy to update your bios and keep your computer running smooth.

      Dalva123,

Thanks for your review and we're glad to see that you updated the BIOS on your new Alienware desktop. This should help with the fan noise and also with the overheating that you're experiencing. We'd also suggest adjusting the thermal settings in the Alienware Control Center based on your intended computer usage.

I kept it for a week, worked with Dell, but in the end I had to return it. The memory is HyperX however, it is specially made for Dell. If you want to upgrade, you have to pay their price $198.00 for 16GB. I can buy 32GB of HyperX memory for $140. The case is crowded, poor airflow = loud fans that kick into hyperdrive when you load any game. Their service program would not update, despite working with Dell. The nail in the coffin was discussing water cooling with Best Buy and changing out the fans. The rep said we could do it however, I would not recommend it. I returned it on the spot. The computer itself is what it proclaims to be, servicable for the money however, there are too many rough edges to elevate it above average.

Coming from building my last two PC's on my own I thought I would try a pre-built. I will make this short...Its loud and runs hot. After the first day, I purchased a Corsair H60 liquid cooler. It was not hard to put in and for $80 it dropped my CPU temps by 30C. The RTX 2080 Super is quick, it will out run my previous GTX 1080 by 30 - 40 FPS. Overall decent PC but I would prefer a more spacious case and less heat to begin with. The plus side is it has crazy amount of USB slots.
