Paid $1,156 for open box model. Device came in practically new sealed and everything. Only downside thus far is the speakers crackle a little (known Alienware issue) and the Alienware command center is a bit buggy. I play Fortnite and get 240fps easy.

Bought this open box and it came with some issues and apparently the wrong charger was supplied (per Dell). Dell has provided excellent support for the issues it has been having. Able to play a myriad of steam and Xbox games, but mostly I just use it for school. I wish it were capable of USB charging, the charger is massive. Backlit keys I can change colors on. Battery life not tested, it’s always plugged in.

MY wife purchased me a gaming PC last Christmas which we set up in our home office. She likes to game as well but didn't want to take up much space and wanted something more portable as well. This machine doesn't disappoint. Runs all of the newest games very smooth. Screen is bright and crisp. Highly recommended!

Its,really fast and well built laptop It might be kind of bulky for some people but its a gaming laptop. This things are not supposed to be light.

Premium materials but with some software issues for ex: Dell Support app not opening

This product has been amazing in that it has been able to handle everything I throw at it. From video games to video editing on multiple screens. That said it does get uncomfortably hot to the touch and forget abt having it on ur lap. The fans are also quite loud but I tend to use noise cancelling headphones so that evens out. The battery life is also abysmal so plan to only use this plugged in. Overall a great product but with a flaw or two.

I'll keep this short, I have owned Alienware in the past, and after trying several Asus, I finally decided to wait for a sale and just buy Alienware again. Well I purchased this Model from a local Bestbuy. I went through so many problems from minor backlight bleed that I was willing to live with, to issues with crackling in speakers, to lights shutting off for Alienware power button and lights on back. I had to shutdown and reboot the laptop to get those lights to come back on, even reinstalling Alienware command center didn't work. And I had to manually turn Optimus on, to stop the unit from freezing for 5 seconds when switching between igpu to dgpu and back. Finally I got it to a livable state and suddenly I noticed a dead pixel... then I noticed not just one more, but 8 dead pixels! I reluctantly exchanged it. The second unit I booted had a deformation in the top left screen; I immediately exchanged it for the third unit. Praying that nothing was wrong, I hit the boot button and there in the center of the screen was a dead pixel, surrounding that screen was the worst backlight bleed I've seen on any of their units. I returned it. I give up finding a gaming laptop with no quality control issues. I blame the people dell partnered with (BOE), not dell directly, for the screen issues. I sincerely hope the quality control issues for modern screens gets corrected in the next couple years, I guess I will just have to build another desktop for now...

I have had few issues with the laptop thus far. I did have to use Dell Support Assist to get the Alienware Command software working properly and upon arrival the screen bezel was coming off (it did click back into place and hasn't come apart again) but otherwise it's worked great. The keyboard uses Cherry MX low profile switches and they feel great to use. The display is great. It does get a little loud when gaming / video editing, but that's to be expected with almost any laptop with a dedicated GPU. It is a little on the heavy side, but for my use, it's not been an issue.

Owned an Alienware X15 R1 3070 last year and have to say this model runs smoother. AMD and QHD with the 3070 ti. MW2 and WZ2 look crisp. The Display is beautiful. Keys are great. Contemplated ASUS but that just felt cheap compared to this hardware. I'd highly recommend. 5/5

Computer when shut down would not let user into it. When Geeksquad reset and it was shutdown again it would not let user pass the wifi connection as it did not allow for wifi setup only ethernet setup. Has a bright screen, beautiful keyboard, and overall looks I would give 5 stars... but its extremely heavy, not for everyday use at office. The cord is massive and very heavy also. Battery life is 4-5 hrs max. Definitely only needs to be used for gamers who stay plugged in.

Fantastic deal on a great laptop that can play any game currently available. Wise decision is buying last years model which is not significantly slowerthan the premium cost of the newest model. Easily upgrade the system and video ram as well as the ssd size.

I don't worry about anything. It doesn't freeze, although if it gets a little warm nothing that a fan won't fix. and quality price is too good.

Great computer for gaming! Bought for my husband. First one we got had issues starting up and then not going into sleep mode. Took it back and swapped for the exact same thing and this one works exactly as expected. Super fast, runs World of Warcraft and Overwatch really well. Highly recommend.

The value was great. The laptop can handle anything I throw at it with ease. Really enjoy the asthetics and performance. Couldnt be more satisfied. I play games and manage a small business all from this device. The battery could last a little longer, but is rarely an issue. Can get hot while gaming, reccomend using a cooling platform

The good Build quality is very good screen nice and crisp fast machine for everyday tasks .Cons I feel like we have gotten to a point with laptop gpus where they are all pretty good some rise to the top this machine is close but the cpu temp kinda kills the gaming cpu gets to 100c which in return thermal throttles hurts fps yeah you can you throttle stop to disable the turbo but that hurts fps as well overall good machine wish they would ditchhe thin model go back to bigger and better cooling

love it ! this thing works amazing and is super fast. battery dies quick while gaming but thats to be expected with a gaming laptop. its also a little bulky, but other than that i have no complaints!

I love this laptop it let me play most games on extreme settings, it can get loud but beside that no complaints

I was longing for a powerful gaming laptop. I bought this for 1,500 since it was on deal (I believe it was 2k+ originally). It’s very loud when I’m playing games like Roblox and Terraria. I thought I would get used to it. But I’m starting to completely regret this purchase. Look if gaming laptops are your thing and don’t mind loud fans, then this might be your thing??? I tried to love it but it was simply too hard. I kind of like it and rarely use it now. I feel like I should have loved it since I spent a huge amount of money but oh well.
