The laptop is amazing with great performance and great display quality. Run almost every game in highest performance without any issues. The fan is a bit too loud when put in override mode. Doesnt get heated most of the times and if played for hours then you can feel some heat near the wasd keyboard area. At first might have to install all the drivers before installing any softwares. Overall the best laptop for the black friday price 1.6k

Solid, quality build. It is just under 6 pounds which I still find ok for tossing in a backpack. Newer charger brick is slimmer then in the past. I’m playing Valheim and Stardew Valley with an XBOX controller. On battery, you get 1-2 hours on Performance Mode in Valheim (audible fan noise but acceptable). Stardew Valley I did not do a full test but likely 3-4 hours on battery. In any case, its a gaming laptop with a good GPU so you are going to want to keep it plugged in while gaming. There are a lot of YouTube reviews for this model where you can see that the non-gaming battery life is excellent (up to 8 hours). I really like the keyboard and was surprised to find how much I use the right side audio controls. About half the time, I game while sitting on the sofa with my wife. The laptop sits comfortably on an Aluminum adjustable stand which I use over my lap or on my sofa’s large arm rest. The bulit-in speakers are fine for the games I play, otherwise I use bluetooth headphones. For non -gaming, Excel runs great of course. I added a second, 4 TB M.2 drive so I can manage my photos and videos as well as not having to worry about uninstalling games due to space.

Giving this a 4 star review as i feel alienware has been better with this model. The m16 R2 has been a champ. My only grip with it is the fact the ultra 9 185H in it runs hot sometimes idling at 70c + but got a decent cooler to go with it. Gaming performance wise i feel it does a decent job. Overall better then past alienware laptops.

I was initially looking for a performance computer and was skeptical about this laptop. However, after using it for a little over a month, I'm happy with it. It is slightly heavier than others, but I attribute that to the solid build. It starts up quickly, and overall performance is very fast and responsive. The keyboard action is perfect, and typing is a breeze. The lighting effects are just a bonus. Overall, if you want a good, solid-performing machine, look at this one.

Had a great experience at the Tualatin location 5/25/25 buying this laptop from Zach (I believe is his name). He literally provided me with the best customer service I've ever had buying electronics. He answered all of my questions and was attentive. I wasn't planning on buying this but he convinced me I couldn't live without it. After a month or so I'm super happy with it. To top it off he got me to join the plus membership. I will purchase my electronics from Bestbuy exclusively from now on.

Runs hot, too hot but it was nice. Graphics were awesome but playing PUBG the laptop I guess got too hot and it blue screened me. I thought maybe it was a fluke. I only play on a flat clean wood desk so none of the vents are obstructed. About 2 and a half weeks into it my games wouldn’t load so I restart and BIOS is telling my my thermal fan doesn’t work on my GPU checked the drivers… etc.. everything was fine. It’s just the fan wouldn’t turn on. Ended up returning it.

Overall a great computer !! I got mines open box though and it has minor problems, Won’t connect to my krk speakers , thinking it’s an error specificly with this computer , updated driver and everything still doesn’t work , but will connect to headphones . Besides that a great computer for anything your doing .

Great computer. I’ve been wanting to purchase a good gaming computer and this was the one. Even though it is not 4K resolution it offers the best picture and rendering that you will find for a gaming computer. The only downside is that it needs to be plugged in to have full performance and avoid latency during gaming.

Runs my game smoothly, the audio is also good. I use it for my online training and gaming. Alienware can handle everything.

Fantastic product with a very powerful and performing GPU paired with a modern Intel Core Ultra CPU. Overall silent and easy to carry around. Keyboard has a smooth feeling that makes it lovely to use. Battery life is decent however this device is not designed for extended battery usage.

I have always wanted an Alienware computer for my gaming addiction and now I have one. Gotta say I am not disappointed. Sleek design, great keyboard, lightning speed, great graffics, everything I could possibly want in a gaming laptop.

I've owned many Dell laptops for home and work over the years. This is my third gaming laptop from them. I can say without a doubt, this is one of the worst purchases I've ever made. There's literally something wrong with the design of this product. The Command Center software almost never works properly so get ready for your RGB presets to randomly vanish and overclocking to be inaccessible while the software goes offline for days on end. Shortcuts will suddenly stop working too. Also get ready for your sound to go offline every few minutes. There's something wrong with Dell's drivers. You'll need to restart the computer to regain access to your audio before it inevitably goes offline again. The USB controller and Bluetooth is also shot. Your external mouse will randomly go offline every so often. Good luck if you have a storage device connected because those will randomly go offline too. My extended display also doesn't work properly either. I have two external screens. The second one that's connected to the laptop's USB C display port will randomly disconnect. It'll take several tries for it to go back online. This laptop also has a memory leak. From the second I turn on the system it will say that most of the memory is in use. Games will cause the laptop to sound like a jet turbine. Then they'll start glitching out as the system overheats. Don't buy this laptop!

Have really enjoyed this laptop. They put a serious set of fans in it so it’s gonna sound off but I don’t care.
