The mechanical keyboard with blue switches provides a satisfying clicky sound that many gamers prefer. I have tremors and this keyboard helps so I am not hitting the key twice without noticing. The back-light helps me to see the letters/numbers easily. I am thoroughly in love with this product.

I ordered 3 keyboards. My kids like them. I would put 5 stars, but one keyboard was defective. For Space and letter N red lights are not working. When switching to white those keys have blue light, because red is off. Very disappointed, especially at this moment when I cannot exchange or return because of quarantine. And it won't available for exchange - it is sold out in Best Buy. looks like I will keep it but next time will think twice before ordering from Best Buy.

Affordable Mechanical Keyboard W/ Decent Features

This product was just added to the shelves of my local Best Buy today. Since I like new hardware, I decided to pick it up to test out and see how good a $49.99 Mechanical Keyboard can be. This is a Tzumi Alpha Gaming Viper Mechanical Keyboard. The Bandit name seems to be to prevent confusion with the naming scheme for Razer products. So far the typing experience has been decent, with clicky BSUN blue mechanical switches, double injection molded keycaps with a pretty clear script on them. The housing is all plastic, but it is fairly rigid for that. There is no noticeable deck flex while using during even intense gaming moments. It has 4 large rubber feet to prevent the keyboard from sliding across your desk, as well as an angle adjustment that also includes rubber feet, for those people who prefer a tilt (like myself). The cable routing underneath is nice, as is the braided USB cable. The built-in wrist rest is a little shorter than my preference, but a nice touch for the price point. The logo in the wrist rest lights up white, and does not have any lighting control. The keys are all individually RGB backlit, with 11 lighting modes without additional software configuration required. The software is decent for an affordable gaming keyboard, and allows full control of the backlight as well as programmable keys for every key on the board. It does have a Windows key lockout function that is nice for those moments when you don't want to potentially interrupt your gaming by opening the start menu. The key stability is pretty nice, with only minor wobble on the shift keys. Overall, this feels like a good keyboard, and an excellent deal for the price. The only criticism I have is the lack of dedicated media keys, but they are available as secondary commands with the FN key and the F-keys.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an RGB, mechanical keyboard that wouldn't hurt the pocketbook and this fit it to a T.

Especially in dark surroundings this is a very good keyboard. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the software's inability to logically save settings and it overwriting earlier saved settings on exit. The keyboard itself is great, albeit rather loud.

I finally broke down and bought a new PC. My old keyboard was a little worse for wear also, so after doing a bit of a search I came across this little gem. I love the feel of the keys and the ease with with I can type. I'm not a gamer so I don't really use all the keys, but it's still a fantastic keyboard and the back lighting makes it easier to type in the dark. My only issue is there were no instructions in the box, so I can't figure out if there is a way to change the lights on it. No biggie though.

I liked the backlighting, and quality feel of this keyboard, but it is NOISY and clacks with every keypress! It's not appropriate for business use because others can hear you type. Annoying noise, but otherwise good, and you can change the colors of the backlighting, which is neat. It has a nice numeric keypad and is easy to connect. It has lots of extra convenience keys for gaming or productivity.

I was in the market for a new backlit keyboard for gaming, as the glare from my monitor made it difficult to see the keys if the room lights were not lit. After reading the reviews, I decided to give the Alpha a shot. It's got a good heft to it and the keys feel good under my fingers. But my favorite feature, is the ability to customize the lighting on each individual key. Definitely money well spent.

I bought this as a replacement for my work keyboard now that I work remotely. The lights are cool and remove the boredom of working at home, but there are two problems: 1) the CAPS LOCK key doesn't always work 2) some of the functions on a regular keyboard don't work here. Granted, this is primarily a gaming keyboard, but it's a keyboard nevertheless and should function as such. But the lights are cool...

Both of my sons are gamers and they love these keyboards so I decided to get one to see if I would like it, and YES it is awesome. I needed a keyboard that lit up because it is dark in my office, but what a bonus having all of these pretty colors! It has several different settings for the color display also. I love my new keyboard. It was a great purchase and I am very happy with how fast it was delivered.

All I can say about this keyboard if you're on a budget its ehhh. "dont bother" Problem I have with it is that its loud and the software is sketchy. This keyboard kept dying on me after 18 months of use and had to constantly unplug/plug for it to work. Ended up buying another brand keyboard. SO YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a known brand keyboard.

I bought this 2 years ago and it is still working great! The keyboard makes a very satisfying clickity clack with every keystroke. The light schemes are really cool! I believe however two keys have stopped lighting up but I haven't tried to troubleshoot. All of the keys respond well on screen, however.

I bought this for my home office and wanted a little more action in my keyobard. Wasn't a fan of the chiclet keyboard I was using and I enjoy the sound this one makes. Had a little clang to it when I first bought it but it has broken in nicely. I don't use this for gaming, just simple office work. Couldn't ask for a better bargain when it was only $25.
