The sound on this is great! I took it kayaking, it held up in water great. I love that I could change songs and use Siri from the speaker itself so I could keep my phone in its water proof case without having to use it. The attachment loop is a simple feature that is not to be overlooked. Allowed me to secure it to my life vest and I love that it’ll link with ALTEC speaker cause I plan on getting more.

Bought last minute for a BBQ, they were ready within an hour and curbside pickup was excellent. They're not going to blast out the neighborhood, but they're loud enough and sound great for their tiny size. Very easy to pair to my phone and to each other. I had them spaced about 25 feet apart and they performed without a hitch and lasted for the 9 hours I used them without recharging (they could've gone longer). I also like that they're water resistant since it rained during my party and I didn't have to worry about them! I can't speak to their longevity, but overall I'm happy with my purchase.

This is our second altec lansing portable bluetooth speaker. Both work excellent and have great sound, especially for small speaker. Durable & waterproof. Battery lasts a long time. Our first one is several years old & still working great.

Amazing sound for it's size. Really big sound and wonderful clarity! I paired it to my iphone to listen to Bobby Bones podcasts while washing my cars. I sat it in the garage while washing the cars at the end of my driveway. There is zero distortion when you crank up the volume. That means from the end of the driveway I could hear clearly every word that was said. In fact, the volume was so powerful, I realized my neighbor across the street could hear it to. I waved at him and he waved back, so I figured he didn't mind. I then remembered it was waterproof, so I sat it on top of the car I was washing. It's also handy that I can answer my iphone from the speaker. In 1979, I paid $5,000 for a pair of B&W speakers from The UK. So I'm pretty picky about sound quality. This little speaker is amazing, especially for the price.

This is the second one of these that I purchased. I wore out the first one. The Bluetooth connects really easily or if you have a device that doesn’t have Bluetooth you can plug it in with the cord. The sound is very rich. The speaker is quite small so it doesn’t take up much space. It comes in several different colors to choose from. Also, before I actually purchased this speaker, I had tried several other ones and none of them work as well as this one. When you have it on Bluetooth if you walk in between the device your using it with and the speaker, it doesn’t cut out like so many other ones. Definately reccomend this speaker.

Long lasting battery. Gets pretty loud enough to tune out the kids t.v LoL. Good sound and base. Great for a small areas.

Altec Lansing has been consistently putting out quality speakers for years now. This little guy is no exception. Exceptionally loud for its size. It's a perfect shower speaker or a desktop speaker. Not necessarily a great house party speaker as it's not that loud but it's certainly loud enough to use in your bedroom your bathroom or your workplace. Super easy to use. Super durable. Great quality speaker

Bought this for my father in law. He didn't have a portable Bluetooth speaker. We picked this up for him and for a beginner it was very easy to setup and use. The sound quality is appropriate for the cost of the speaker. Seems very durable. A very good speaker for the money.

PROS: This speaker has really good sound and bass for the size of it. It’s rubber ‘shell’ provides great durability for users on-the-go. It’s definitely a waterproof as I use it in the shower all the time. Battery life is A M A Z I N G !!! charges quick too! CONS: Can’t turn off the super bright status lights, which is a bit of an annoyance for me when I’m using it at night to listen to music or playing audiobook while I go to sleep.

Battery life is great! I wish it was a bit louder but otherwise quality of sound is good. Its water proof which is nice. I've never submerged the unit and dont plan to, but it is a good feature none the less. Overall, I am pleased with this speaker.

The Altec-Lansing Jacket H20 4 is a decent Bluetooth speaker. Generally enjoyable and plenty loud. I don't think you would be disappointed in purchasing it. It produces decent sound, though it's just a tad heavy on the bass compared to mid- and high-levels. It's not bad, just not 100% to my liking. The sound produced is much better than the size would indicate in other speakers. I have a two-fold complaint: 1) the instructions included are not sufficient for aging eyes. I'm not sure when my vision was perfect I could have read this. 2) When I got this, the speaker turned on, meaning it had some charge. It would not connect to my phone. Charged it overnight, and then I could connect to my phone. Tried to connect to a tablet. It would not connect until I charged it again. A third device also had issues, though that involved rebooting the Chromebook. And the speaker. Multiple times. It's sad I have to turn off Bluetooth on all the devices I don't want. Feels like Altec Lansing needs to revisit device handling and fix the initial connection issue.

I got this for my wife she likes to work out and her old bluetooth speaker went out, so I decided to get her a speaker I went to Best Buy and they had a lot options but when I listen to this speaker I was amaze how small and how loud and clear it sounded. I bought it also is water resistant, well worth I think I got it for 39.99 was on sale

Considering the size of this thing, its a decent trade off between being fairly loud, solid battery and good audio quality. Fits in your pocket and rugged/water proof. This is a good option if you don't mind a lack of bass and youre only entertaining a couple people in a small environment

Bought this after seeing my son using a similar model. Sound is excellent. Range is about 25 feet. No distortion. Easy to set up and use. Initial charge took about 2 hours. I've used it about 3 hours total and the battery level is still above 90%.

I like this product. Really easy to set up. Good sound. Used this on a vacation and never had any issues with battery life. One thing: it is hard to see the LED lights while in the bright sun. This made it more challenging to pair the speaker to a different tablet or phone.

Awesome sound quality and appears very durable. Battery actually seems to last longer than indicated on manual. The reaching distance of the Bluetooth was a little disappointing. Either I miscalculated the distance or it’s shorter that advertised. Overall happy with speaker

This speaker is small enough to carry with you and delivers a great sound and volume for a terrific price. The fact that it is dust proof and water proof are two added bonuses for this portable speaker.

Bought this as a gift for my father. He really enjoys it & uses it all the time. Sound is great! He said it holds a charge good & is east to use. He likes it because it’s a little more rough and tumble than some speakers.

Bought this for myself. My son got a hold to it and that was all she wrote. Good sound and good quality. Loud and ease of use for weekend outdoor family events. Or listening to good music while gardening.
