I love the size of the speaker. It's small enough to drop in my bag and carry with me. It connects to my Apple Nano without problem and has good sound. I plan to take it camping so being waterproof is a plus. The only thing I don't like about it is every time it powers on, there's a voice that says, "Powering on. Welcome to Altec Lansing." Every time.

Some tracks will sound low because the power for this unit uses basic tech but with a price match (thirty), you are buying the most affordable everything proof speaker on the market. Some tracks are pretty loud. Its a better buy than jbls line (even when they cost more). It takes a beating. Next best thing would be in the 100+ dollar range.

Speaker was surprisingly loud! For being a small speaker, it has a decent life and is very loud, and on top of that it's also water and sand proof...perfect for some beach time or volleyball!

Even if it's small its quality it's great it sounds amazing and clear and you can take it everywhere and great color selections love the item

This is an awesome little speaker! It maybe little, but it has big sound. It has great quality sound, is easy to transport anywhere, and syncs up to just aboit anything. I love my Lansing!!!

My daughter bought this about 6 months ago and absolutely loves it. Uses in her room and loud enough to take outside and hear her music. Sound is great, not tinny.

Small speaker, really good sound (about as much as you can expect from something slightly bigger than a pack of cards. The water, sand and shock proof make this an even better find! Easy to pair and easy to use, I have already bought a few of these as gifts and even a year later they are still using them... if that says anything :)

I typically research electronics purchases before buying, but I bought this on a whim after seeing it in the store. I had an upcoming beach vacation and several pool parties planned and after this speaker caught my eye I figured I would give it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised with the sound quality, it really does sound good and doesn't get drowned out when outdoors. It has been great for all of my outdoor activities so far, it survived the sand and water at the beach and several times in the swimming pool. It does float really well. One item to note is that when the speaker cone gets water on it, the sound will drown out. The speaker just isn't strong enough to combat the weight of the water, but if you dump the water off it keeps on going. The Bluetooth range seems to be a little shorter than other Bluetooth speakers that I own, but that is about the only complaint that I have. When I first got the speaker, my two toddlers were in the yard playing in a small pool and I kept putting the speaker in the water to see how it floated and how well it worked in the water but they kept taking it back out and giving it to me saying that I can't put electronics in the water!

it sounds good.very easy to setup and use.but is not water proof like the box says it is.

Speaker works well, unless you like to listen to really loud music. Top end of volume will have some distortion. But if you listen at a reasonable volume, speakers sound good. Battery life is around 8 hours with full recharge in about 2 hours. I use it on my kayak so I appreciate the waterproof and floating capabilities.

Very light weight, low cost speaker to take to the beach and not have to worry about. Audio quality was very good for the size.

I bought this small Bluetooth speaker but I was skeptical about the sound quality not until I started listening to some tunes. You get crystal clear sound with some booming bass that doesn't sound too over powering. I was very surprise about how loud this mini speaker can get without distortion. My two best features that got me sold were the long battery life and being waterproof for a very reasonable price!

Bought this for the size and it's waterproof! Sounds awesome! We use it on our deck to listen to tunes in the evenings! After reading all the reviews about the how annoying the speaker voice is, and how loud it was, I was kinda nervous about it. I personally don't have a problem with it, with either the voice or the volume, and don't see it as a con. It's nice to know when it is powered on or off.

It’s very convenient for its size and clip accessory, but also pretty loud for its size. I love it, great buy.

This little speaker delivers big and good sound quality plus its really waterproof.

Using this speaker, I get a wonderful sound out of it. It's better than my laptop's built-in speakers and much easier to move to other locations. However, I'm not pleased with the distance that I am able to place the speaker from my laptop. If the distance is farther than 3 feet, the sound often breaks up or quits entirely. This is not always the case but it's the rule and not the exception.

This speaker puts out plenty of sound from the small form factor. Great for kids since it is waterproof not resistant.

We bought this little speaker to use in our pop-up cabana while on the beach. It has plenty of volume, even with the sound of the Ocean and other people around us. We set it to about 50% volume, The clarity is good as well. Battery life also seems good. We've used it about 8 hours and have not had to recharge.

This little speaker packs a punch. It is waterproof and it does float. Haven't been to the beach yet to try out the sand. This little speaker is worth the money

Bought it for my sister to use outside by her pool. Nice sound from such a tiny speaker, and no worries getting it wet!
