I purchased this for an older smart tv so that Bluetooth headphones could be used to listen to it privately. Pros: it is both a transmitter and a receiver, it includes a red/white Y-style RCA cable adapter as well as a standard aux plug, it charged quickly with the included usb charging cable, it has a separate power button, and it was very easy to set up and pair. Cons: the volume was very limited and low, requiring the volume on the Aluratek and both the headphones and tv/cable to be at max to listen comfortably (loud volume is impossible. Audio quality is just passable. Additionally, the battery life is unknown and the price is quite high. If this unit was priced at $25 or less, it would be much more reasonable; $42.50 is really an exorbitant amount particularly for an item that lacks high quality audio fidelity.

I'm a senior female with no technical ability who hears television better with earphones. But Xfinity (Comcast) told me it does not yet have a cable box that is bluetooth enabled so I had to plug cables for large wireless infrared headphones into the back of my DVR Xfinity cable box. However, after purchase, I plugged this Aluratek bluetooth adapter into the back of my cable box and can now use small bluetooth earbuds. Works great and I have not found any interference with television signal. I'm careful to keep this adapter behind the cable box and not on top of it where it could possibly interfere with signal. It does need to be recharged daily but so did my infered headphones so I haven't found it to be a problem. Make sure your cable box has output audio port(s) as some cable boxes do not.

Great product. I wish when I use my AirPods it does not make a crackle noise, when I use for a long period of time. The length of connection does not work it starts to crackle after length of time. But I can connect 2 devices separately.

I purchased this item b/c the bluetooth connection on my treadmill doesnt get nearly loud enough to hear it while you are running over the noise of the treadmilll motor. Simply, charge it, plug it in to the headphone jack, Push and hold the power button to turn on and begin the sync mode, synch your head phones, and you end up with Theater quality sound!

I goff a great projector on a budget. Vankyo 630w, but needed to add 2 Bluetooth speakers with a 3.5mm. After research I went with this, which I got on sale, and was able to add two speakers in less then a minute. I also now have a receiver and an attachment for USB C. Excellent value for the price and fits in the palm of my hand.

Can’t complain at all! I originally bought it for my stereo receiver to use it as a Bluetooth option but I never realized that it doubles as a transmitter either and you can use ANY headphones including AirPods to listen to the tv in a more quiet setting! Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to convert something older and bring it up to date with Bluetooth!

Excellent product, easy to use. Connects easily to the sound bar. I use this to transmit from my turntable to the soundbar. I have not used it to receive. My only tip is upon connecting the first time place the item directly next to the device you are wanting to connect it to. After that it picks it up and auto connects. It transmits pretty well.

An amazing little device! My car doesnt have Bluetooth so i hook this up via a stereo cable to the car radio, pair my phone to it, and BAM! Instant streaming music. Sounds great without audio distortion nor issues connecting to it during my commute.

Purchased this as a cheap solution to make a make a projector have bluetooth. Definitely did not work at first because the projector did not have audio out capabilities. Once I got an HDMI/HDMI audio converter, I plugged this into the audio out and paired up with my speakers. It has the ability to pair to two devices at the same time and also comes with RCA cables if you're plugging direct into that sort of audio port. YAY!!!! Thank you Aluratek and Best Buy!

Excellent product! I use this to listen to my analog output devices using my Sony earbuds and it works great! Sound quality is better than the crappy models available online. It can transmit and receive audio, which is great if you want to listen to your non-bluetooth TV using wireless headphones. You can also play music from your non-wireless stereo by using this backwards with your phone. It is two way communication, and it is awesome! It also contains a microphone for use with phone calls and recording. Highly reccomend!

This item allows me to listen to my Sony 85" with my Sony Bluetooth headphones or my Apple earbuds. Had to figure out right way to plug in as I have a Control4 system that complicates any accessories. Also needed the 3.5mm female to 1/4" male headphone adapter to plug into the receiver. I was told where I bought the tv that I likely would not be able to do this but was able to solve it.

Worked but lacked the range to keep the connection when I went into next room to grab a snack or watch the news while eating in the kitchen. I had to buy a dedicated transmit Bluetooth and it has excellent range.

Bought a set of Bluetooth Bose headphones and paired them with this item. Opened the box, charged it with my Samsung phone charger, plugged it into the Analog Out audio l/r of my 10 year old Vizio TV. Charged the headphones, turned on the Aluratek, turned on the Bose, and they quickly paired. I learned to turn the Aluratek off after each use, so the charge lasts. Perfect solution and simple to install and use.

Dream come true!!!! I have been hunting for a way to give life back to my IPod Classic. I have spent YEARS filling it with over 100GB’s of music. And now with Audiophile level Bluetooth wireless technology I was wanting to go back and enjoy some music that I don’t have anywhere else but on this device!!! Pairs easily, and unlike some other products like this, it DOESN’T limit the output volume!!! I am so happy!!

I'm not a huge fan of newer Bluetooth earbuds it headsets because they cause too much of a seal from the world. ( If that doesn't bother you though, check out pretty much anything from Anker ) I purchased these to use in conjunction with my Koss on the ear headsets and three newest Google Chromecast with Google TV so that I can listen to content that is being streamed. These work wonderfully as a receiver. I have not yet tried as a transmitter but I would think that the performance would be the same or similar.

I got this for my LG smart TV that didn't have the Bluetooth built in. It works great! I use it with a nice pair of Sony Bluetooth headphones. I haven't had any interference issues, it works well within the 30' range, and it last a long time on one charge. I haven't tried two headphones, but it does support it.

Aluratek wireless tx and rx device was flexible and easy to configure. Connect iPod or I Phone to older hard wired stereo devices or connect older stereo devices to newer wireless headphones and vise versa. Very easy to install and links up seamlessly every time! See Pictures as installed to both RCA inputs or Headphone output from my Old School Boombox. Also have one hooked to my whole house audio input on my home stereo which I connect to both my iPhone and PC for unlimited musical applications.
