It's light and once I swapped bands it was ok I don't like silicone bands. A 20mm leather standard watch band fit just perfect. That's the reason quality gets a 4 star. Now set-up was easy, download the Amazfit App make a profile and it synced right up, way faster than my daughter's Fitbit syncs. You do have to set heart rate frequency and turn on calls, sms, app notification separately but that's only once. You can read the text message on the watch screen. I got everything maxed brightness, frequent monitoring and all, checked it over 100 times (sometimes I had to twist my wrist a few times to get the screen light on, few times had to push the button, but hey it's a cheap watch) Have not checked out the auto detect workout feature, but the sedimentary reminder does work! Sleep monitoring let me know half my sleep is deep and half is lite, that was cool. So 24 hours straight extra heavy useage and the battery is at 86% so should go 4-5 days before I have to charge it. It's cool for a watch, got a cheap one to see if I will actually wear it before I think about a 200-500 watch but this one might just stick around until it goes out. Does everything I wanted except no pulsox (O2 stat reader) but that feature is new and only a few watches offer it. If you want a smartwatch and don't want to spend alot then this will work for you. Just go buy a better 20mm band unless you like rubbery silicone on your skin all the time. Now the Alarm just vibrates so took the probably 2nd or 3rd buzz to wake me not sure how that auto snooze works, just know I felt my wrist vibrate as I woke and it was 15 minutes past the set time. But I like it. App could use a few more faces I have tried 7 today not sure how many it offers.

Its not the prettiest, but i bought it for its battery life and transflexive display(Perfect for outdoors). Its abit weak in fitness tracking, but pretty darn good for gps tracked runs. Heart Monitor is spot-on for resting/general tracking, iffy with irratic workouts like weight lifting, but thats expected from an optical monitor. I get 16-20 Days of life with 30-60 Minutes Workouts tracked 6/7 days. And using sleep Tracking aswell. For the price im greatly satisfied.

Overall I'm impressed with this watch and would recommend to someone who wants a good implementation of smart watch/health features for an affordable price. Previously I used a Pebble Time for several years, and upgraded to the Fitbit Versa when it came out. I've now retired my Fitbit Versa in favor of this watch. Pros: Battery life: For my usage, I easily get more than 2 weeks of usage out of a single charge. Heart rate tracking: I've found the tracker to be much more accurate than the Fitbit Versa (1st gen). The Fitbit would almost lose my heart rate during intense workouts. The Bip S hardly ever loses track. Integrated GPS: Very nice for exercise logging without phone. It's good to remember that it won't start tracking outdoor activities until it acquires GPS signal, though I've found the acquisition typically happens within 15 seconds. I haven't found this to be an inconvenience. Navigation: I've found the overall layout fairly straight forward and comparable to other watches on the market. Weight: This is the lightest watch I've owned. Build Quality: Mine feels of decent quality though you won't mistake it for the build quality of something like an Apple Watch. I've found the glass to be superior to that of the Fitbit Versa (1st gen). Watch band: I'm not a big fan of any of the default bands that come with today's smart watches. Changing out the band was no more difficult than the Pebble Time or Fitbit Versa (1st gen). I'm using a 3rd party 20mm band with no issues. Watch faces: There are several faces to choose from, though the options aren't as many as with the Pebble or Fitbit Versa. I was able to find a couple watch faces that I like in the Amazfit App. Data Syncing: The watch syncs well, and I haven't had issues getting notifications. As with other brands, you can select which notifications you do and don't want to get (by application) Google Fit: Amazfit has integration with Google Fit, so you can sync your data. I've found this works well with the exception of the GPS tracked exercises. For some reason Google breaks a single activity into many short durations. This doesn't impact the tracking in the Amazfit app, only how the GPS data is displayed in Google Fit. Sleep Tracking: it's just OK. Fitbit definitely has better sleep insights with the VO2 sensor and advanced sleep analysis. If you're looking for just high level sleep info, this watch probably has enough info for you. I've found the sleep tracking similar to what was provided on the Pebble Time.

Really liking this smartwatch and especially the features for the price. Have only charged twice in two months which is nice. The display is easy to see outdoors. The heart rate seems to work fine and covers every exercise I do. Sleep function has been real accurate. I read some professional reviews that did not like the app for the watch but I do. The only problem I have is it cannot find my messaging app to receive notifications. And yes I did not expect it to be like an Apple or Samsung smartwatch for the price.

I purchased this item as I was mostly looking for a watch. Therefore, for me, the most important features were always-on-display, battery life and price. I got it on sale so price was good. Display is very bright outside with no need for backlight, and even though resolution is not the highest (comparing to higher end devices), it is very good and clear. At night the backlight works great. Battery life is great. I have it for a month and still have 55% charge (I did use the basic profile, without constant heart rate measuring). For me the activity tracker features were secondary priority. However after trying them, I find them useful. I love the pedometer, found it accurate enough, and now tracking my steps daily. The heart rate monitoring is pretty fast and accurate. I also tried a walk activity with GPS and the GPS was very accurate. The smartwatch features of the device seems basic, and surely not comparable to the higher end devices. However for me those features are not important. Therefore I can't provide much feedback on those features.

Just purchased this to replace an Amazfit Bip (non"S")model)that the watch face just popped off! Hopefully will have better luck with this one. It's way cheaper than an "A"watch and should function just as well. Beware the app (Zepp) is different than MYfit and you won't find the watch on the pairing list in MYfit if you had an account. Found this out when trying to pair watch and realized needed to switch apps. Even then it took repeated attempts to install the app on a Pixel phone and connect. was about to give up and finally worked... These watches are great for biking, running, etc and displaying texts. Buy it!

Let's watch this exactly what I want. Is very comfortable and I hardly even noticed that it's there due to it being so light weight. I like that it keeps track of my heart rate and steps I can even control my music with it. I also has a timer, stopwatch, and I can set many alarms.

If you want a simple and easy smart watch to set up and wear, this is it. Priced right for what you get, amazing display that is easy to see in direct sunlight, and the battery really does last a full week on a single charge. For the budget conscious, a great buy.

This was such a great purchase. This watch is exactly what we needed. My husband exercises and the physical therapist wants to know his heart rate. I have had 3 fitbit watches and they are Junk. This shows heart rate and time. (Choice of Screens is excellent). Wish the exercise could be monitored on Computer. SO MUCH BETTER THAN FIT BIT!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Charge stays long time too!!!!

I charged this about 3.5 weeks ago and I still have 38% battery. It does all the essentials (notifications, activity tracking, IP68 rating, HR monitor - which I don’t use). And I basically don’t have to charge it like a smart device. It also fixes a lot of the issues I had with the previous Bip, which includes better notifications and a faster and smoother UI. I’ve tried Samsung smartwatches, WearOS smartwatches, and this is by far my favorite. I need something that can tell the time, give me notifications if I’m away from my phone, and is waterproof with good battery life so I can just wear it without thinking about it

I finally replaced my old Bip with the Bip S. The old one lasted 3 years and it still works but battery life is down to 5 days. The new one is very much the same but has a slightly nicer screen. If you want a smart watch to impress your friends or to make and answer calls, this is not for you. I am a teacher and need to receive notifications and know who is calling without checking my phone. I leave my phone on vibrate and the watch mirrors it. I tried more expensive watches also with always on screens and good battery life. The Vector was beautiful and worked well until the screen went out a few months later. Same thing happened to my Fossil. The Amazefit is not nearly as nice but it also costs about a quarter of the price and it just keeps on ticking. I'm happy!

good watch for the price, easy to use. the only thing is, that the weather is in celsius and I have not be able to change it, other wise, great. I didn't have to spend a lot $$ for a fitbit.

I got this because my son has the same watch and it was really neat. I am not a computer person, but he had it charged and set up in no time. After it was charged, he had my phone for like 20 minutes and it was ready to put on. I picked a custom face from the app and my son set it to the watch, then I just swipe right to get to my heart rate, steps, PAI (whatever that is, he tried to explain it). I know he wears his all the time and charges it once a week, he told me it would tell me when it got to 10% and needed charging and only takes two hours to charge. I like the band that came on the watch so I'm trying it out, but he helped me find a cheap leather band incase I want to change it later. I can ignore a call or silence the ringer from the watch but it won't answer the phone, and it gets my text messages but the type is too small for me to see it. I think I will really love this watch and I wanted a Smart Watch that was cheap, I am happy with this one.

Pretty good for the price. Does most of what I wanted it to do. There is a little bit of a learning curve, and I had to fish around in the App Store to find two that, combined, do what I wanted. Haven’t checked out the GPA capabilities yet. I am having fits trying to find a non-rubbery replacement band. This one is causing problems with my skin sometimes.
