Initially I was in the market for a JBL Party Box 110 but this got good reviews and people raved about the volume and sound quality. First off, it’s pretty sleek, it’s heavy and not some lightweight piece of garbage. An integrated handle would be nice. But once I plugged it in and started to crank some music off iTunes, I realized even on the highest volume I wanted more … and more base, and more fullness. It’s loud but it’s just not loud enough for me or a house party. Then I start reading about people who have linked two of them together plus the subwoofer to get the ideal sound. I just don’t think having to spend $600 on Alexa speakers which will have to be stationary are worth it. I exchanged mine for the JBL party box 110 and now I’m much happier.

I had two connected together for stereo listening but more often than not they disconnected from eachother and only played out of one side. I had to reconnect spotify multiple times to be able to control it from my phobe. And any input from my phone would lead to an incredible amount of lag. I cant help but to give it one star.

Works great with Spotify and SiriusXM. No longer have to keep those apps open on mobile devices.

Well it isn't. I own the 2019 echo studio and have been very happy with it. I purchased this as an upgrade but it's downgrade. Amazon advertises more clarity (which it does have more clarity) and more bass but that's where the issue is. This has a lack in bass compared to the 2019 version. It is a noticeable difference. I recommend getting the 2019 version for the bass and this one for the clarity. Let's also not forget to add this thing was nothing but issues just like most of Amazons products. Would not play when connected to echo sub. Constantly would pause and drop from the echo sub and would have issues hearing and understanding.

The Echo Studio is the only Echo speaker that creates an immersive, 3-dimensional soundscape, wrapping you in studio-quality audio from every direction. You can also ask Alexa to set alarms, control compatible smart home devices, check the weather, play a song, and more. We are sorry you are not enjoying your device.
To get the best audio quality, you'd want to ensure your Wifi connection was strong and the device had current software. The Spatial audio feature is available for Amazon Music Unlimited customers at no extra cost. If you are using Spotify or Apple Music, that could be cause for your dismay.
For an immersive home theater experience, you can use Echo Studio with Fire TV Cube 1st Gen or 2nd Gen, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV (3rd Gen), Fire TV Omni Series or Fire TV 4-Series. This does not work via Bluetooth pairing or with older generations of Fire TV Stick or Fire TV.
