With being away a lot I wanted a tablet for entertainment, and the Fire HD10 is perfect. Widescreen movies are larger compared to my wife's Samsung due to the shape of the tablet. My daughter likes the Fire because it feels lighter then the Samsung. And when paired with Amazon Prime I am able to read books for free. As for the internet I have had no problems, but I will admit I like the Samsung better for this. As for issue of battery, mine is good but not as good as claimed by Amazon. Most I have been on it non stop is 4 hours and I still had 25% battery life which seems about same as Samsung.

I have had 3 generations of Amazon Fire Kindles and they always get better. This largest screen, 10" provides all that more "real estate" to read or play games on. Highly recommended for those that don't mind that little bit more of bulkiness but a much lighter weight than the previous generation.

Okay. So I have been a tried and true Samsung fan for years using the Galaxy S2 8.0 for this past year it is my go-to device. But, I needed something bigger for my games, digital magazines and Art books as well as movies. Took a chance on this affordable tablet. Great sound, easy to set up and use, very nice screen for my movies and a battery that keeps going for hours. It is not as fast as the Samsung but hey, I don't need that speed for my entertainment. Wondeful selection of apps especually on the Underground. Highly recommend this device.

I bought this as a gift for my sister. Turned out to be the best purchase I've made in a long time. She loves the speed. The bigger screen is great and it's super easy to use. She loves it.

My mom plays on her iPad often. The clarity is nice and great color. Thanks to the geek squad for answering our questions.

COMPARE TO MY 8 " KIINDLE, MY 8" SEEMED MORE USER FRIENDLY. ON MY 8" I HAD HELP WHERE I COULD TALK TO A REAL AGENT, ON MY NEW KINDLE WHEN I GO TO HELP. IT GIVES ME SOMETHING TO WHICH I DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M READING .ON THE 10" I HAVE TO WAIT FOREVER FOR ALL MY ICONS TO POP UP. MY OLD KINDLE THE. ICONS WERE ALWAYS THERE. THE 10" BATTERY DOSN'T SEEM TO STAY CHARGE AS LONG AS MY 8" KINDLE. ONE THING I LIKE ABOUT THE 10" KINDLE IS THE LARGER SCREERN.. IT'S MUCH NICER TO READ.

i needed a charger for an iPod shuffle. the original had been lost and i needed a way to charger this iPod. it works magnificently. i could not locate this cord myself but an associate found it immediately. it was an "open box" unit which saved a little on the price which was not bad to begin with. best buy is the best anywhere.

Got this for daughter, and so easy for her to go through. A good purchase.

The Kindle Fire HD 10 is a very good ebook reader. Easy to navigate and buy books and other products from Amazon. Downside is battery life and battery recharged time. Had to replace my last Kindle because recharge port stopped working.

I purchased this item for a moderately disabled Marine Corps veteran who was not very technically inclined at the time. He has some eyesight issues, but the 10" size has proved to be perfect for him. I was very familiar with Kindles (I love my 7"), so I have been able to teach him some things, although we have to go slowly because of memory issues. He learns through repetition. It was the perfect gift.

I love the size of the screen as I have some issues with my vision. The Best Buy staff was so patient and explained to me all of the features that would help me with the operation of my new advise. I was on vacation and Best Buy shipped in within 48 hours to my daughters house!!! I love it!!!

I recently bought the new Kindle to replace my last which had been cracked. I like the larger size, but it is harder to fit into a normal size purse. I've found a couple glitches, but only setting issues that I had to hunt down. No real problems.

Looking to replace my wife's original Kindle Fire. The older model was terribly slow and not able to perform as she needed. This product far exceeded her and my expectations. Looks great. Works fast. Easy to set up. Highly recommend. Looking to get one for myself.

So far I am very happy with my selection/gift. It took some getting use to, but each time I use it...I am happier with it. I had been using the first Kindle and was very happy with it, but was looking forward to the Kindle Fire's features. So far...not disappointed.

I love my Kindle Fire HD 10.1. A great deal of space to download a number of games and apps, along with downloading books. Highly recommend. The clarity is amazing and the interface is very user friendly for child or adult.

Had an older model and decided to upgrade to the 10". Clarity is fantastic plus larger screen is very enjoyable. Use mainly for reading books but games, news and search features are great to have all in one place. Definitely would buy again.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It works great and she loves it. Was a bit unsure about buying an android since I already have an iPad and that's what she was used to using. She made the adjustment well and loves her tablet .

I have had Kindles for the past six years. This is the first one that I can read without glasses. It's a little temperamental like all touch screens. But overall does what I need it to do.

It is like my last kindle but on steroids!!the different ways you can see your music.from playlists or albums or individual songs and sound quality is awesome and the instructions by word or videos are easy to follow.

My wife is really pleased with her Xmas present. It replaces an older Fire. The larger screen and faster processor is very useful. Usability is better too, she managed to connect to WiFi and her services on her own.
