The Amazon App Store doesn’t have a Kobo app which i understand because it’s competition on the other hand it’s annoying because I have books on kobo also so I should’ve bought IPad . But it’s good for the price. Lots of adds and bloatware.

Slow performance on a Fire tablet can often be resolved by clearing app cache and background data. Here is how to do this: Open the Settings menu. Select Apps & Notifications. Select Manage All Applications or See all... apps and choose the app you are having trouble with. Select Storage, tap to Clear Data or Clear Storage, then Clear Cache. If these steps do not help, and you are still having functionality issues, you can call Amazon customer service, available 24/7 for assistance with the device. You can reach them at 1-888-280-4331. They don't respond to questions like "Do you want ice cream?" or "Is your hair on fire?" or "I wonder why Santa is at the front door?". Thank you Best Buy and Fire - the hours of mindless screen time have been a life saver.

I love the child features they add and the filter they place on here to prevent your child from exploring things they shouldn’t be exploring. My daughter literally takes it everywhere and the battery life ods impeccable lol. My child loves this tablet and so do I!

I knew it was an Amazon fire tablet , but never assumed it would be Silk internet browser and everything else Amazon. It was a great price, but not worth the trouble. And i am an Amazon prime member and a fan. Just like a phone, it comes preloaded with apps we dont want,that take up space that cant delete. Go with Android tablet please.

There are a few options to help. First, in regards to ads, you can remove them from this device. To do so, follow these steps: 1. Go to Manage Your Devices on Amazon.com. 2. Select Devices, and then select your Fire tablet. 3. Under Special Offers, click Remove offers. A pop-up window then displays the price to remove ads. 4. Select End Offers and Pay the Fee to proceed. As for storage issues, you can add up to 1TB Micro-SD card to expand the storage on your Fire HD 8 tablet. This will fix issues with storage concerns. The new kindle fire is so fast and easy to use and has a slim and sleek design. I bought it right before leaving on a trip and I easily downloaded several books and apps before I left. It took no time at all and reading was a breeze. I absolutely love my new kindle fire!

Very disappointed that Best Buy did NOTHING (other than apologize) for a website error showing that this was a 64 GB version. The rep did state that it doesn't come in 64 GB version which is untrue. Note - purchased on 11/20/22 and the website is still showing the 64 GB version on 11/23.
