Bought a Kindle for my wife last year prior to vacation and kept borrowing it to read on the beach. So I bought myself one as well and it makes reading easy anywhere I travel. Long battery life is a plus while the non-glare screen is easy on the eyes. I haven't tested it's waterproof ability but I trust it works.

I finally broke down and updated an old Sony ereader with a Kindle. I went for this older model as the price was good and it was still much newer than the reader it replaced. I was pleasantly surprised when I received it. The size is great, the screen is easy to read, and the built in lighting works very well. It’s not the latest model, but a great buy at the reduced price.

My son is on a submarine. I bought this for him to take with him. He is able to download a bunch of books before a deployment and enjoy using it while out at sea. Plus, it’s small so fits in his rack without taking up lots of space. He needed something without a camera so this was perfect.

It is very lightweight, the screen is very clear and easy to read. Love the way you can change the look to fit your needs. Also very easy to download purchases.

Pros: Less eye strain than reading on a phone or other traditional mobile device, good internet connectivity, audible compatible with Bluetooth connection, lightweight. Cons: Processing times (turning pages, unlocking the device, etc.) are slow.

Its a great kindle ereader. The resolution is excellent, and the backlight is very helpful. It was smaller than I expected, but it is not a deal breaker. I wish it was maybe 0.5 to 1 inch larger. I also wish they would have opted for a Usb-C port, but I guess that is for the next gen. The battery lasts so long that I can charge it at home or at a charge station and it lasts for weeks.

Love it! Features are great such as light adjustment, print enlargement and it's waterproofed are huge! I travel with it and it is lightweight which is a plus. You will not be disappointed.

Let me say that this is my first time wanting to own an E-Reader and I never thought I would end up owning one. I've always been an avid manga reader and one thing I love personally is my collection and being able to physically own them. It's gotten to a point where I can no longer keep on collecting like I used to (have around 900+ volumes.) At this point I decided why not go the digital route. I was hesitant at first but was a believer when my SO bought one and showed it to me. I've had it for a little over 2 weeks now and have loved every single moment of it. The screen quality is very nice and reminds me of an actual page from a book. The back lighting is also a god send so goodbye book lights. Overall if you're looking to make the switch and are cautious, I can certainly recommend it. One thing that I will say that I don't like about the Kindle is the actual touchscreen. At times it won't register certain gestures but I felt like I expected that knowing what type of device it is but once you overcome that you're golden!

Outstanding device..... I'm a lifelong serious, hardcore reader - devoted to books, and this gives me everything I liked about reading books and the ability to read anywhere, any time - no need for lights, great portability, powerlasts a long time I love my Kindle!

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my wife. She wasn't sure if she would like it at first due to the size. After a couple weeks she loves the size and ability to check out kindle books from the library. Easy to carry and never loses her place.

Easy to use, glare-free, read in any lighting. Seriously an awesome product. The only negative is it's a bit slow at times when doing anything other than reading. Given that it's main purpose is reading, not a big deal.

This is such an amazing product! I love how it’s easy on the eyes, how you can adjust the font, and especially how you can touch the word to get the definition. I only wish there was a way to personalize it by selecting various cover page.

Charge it maybe once a month, charged it when received and haven’t charged since (about a month, used every day). Perfect for reading as far as size and weight. My only complaint is that Amazon has changed the size from earlier generations so we had to get a new case.

I literally haven’t put this product down much. Super easy to use and kindle unlimited is cheap. So many free books. Also, you can allow other people to borrow books that you have purchased which is so cool!

I bought this for my wife before a beach vacation. The waterproof and battery life were key to the decision and the pricepoint was perfect. I got a lot of marriage points.

Purchased this as a gift for my future son-in-law and he loves it. He said the size is perfect and he likes that he can read in the dark without turning on a light. A bonus is that it is waterproof.

A kindle’s a kindle. I put my whole library of mobi files on there, and have been reading my way through quarantine. I recommend it. I got a case designed to look like a book cover from Etsy, and it really adds to the feel.

Love the options for setting up the way you want it to display. I always read at night and keep it with the black background. Very easy on the eyes. And I like that I can easily adjust the font size.

This little reader is excellent for reading at night while not disturbing my wife while she sleeps. Light and easy to navigate. I plan on buying the larger size as my eyes are not as good as they used to be.

I have always been a fan of regular books, but I took a risk on buying this kindle and I absolutely love it. It's very simple and the back light can be adjusted to look like a real book without straining your eyes. I only have to charge it once a week.
