I was hesitant to get this CPU. I thought of maybe going with an AM5 system but my budget was not enough. So far this has been a crusher. With just a simple OC within the AMD Adrenalin settings I am hitting over 5 ghz...not a typo...hitting 5 ghz with a simple OC. Voltage does not go above 1.488, The temp stays in the low 80's or lower. I did change the wraith prism cooler which was nice but did not keep it cool enough. I was only able to hit the 5 g mark with the cheap aftermarket cooler.

Upgraded from an Ryzen 7 3700X & it has been a pretty dramatic improvement. Games load quicker, and overall perform much better than the 3700x. It does run a little hotter than the 3700x so make sure you pair with an AIO.

Great cpu for the price. It’s paired with a 6800xt in my wife’s pc. Shes playing at 1080p but it could easily handle ultra 1440p. Came with a stock cpu cooler that has rgb doesn’t look bad for a stock cooler!

It is a really nice cpu. I had a ryzen 5 5000 series before upgrading and im really glad i did. I havent had any issues from heat or speed. I will say, whenever i upgrade again it will be another ryzen 7 or ryzen 9 but it will be a while

Upgraded my old AMD Ryzen 5 to AMD Ryzen 7 5800XT. My PC is smoother now. I would recommend it

Not worth the extra $100 for this cpu. I got comfused in store. Shouldve gone x3d chip or AM5. (Not besr buys fault, amd shouldnt have released this at this price point)

I bought this cpu in order to upgrade from a Ryzen 5 5500 and it was worth every penny. After updating my bios and making sure my motherboard was compatible, it was pretty straight forward to install. Also came with the stock cooler with thermal paste on it. Highly recommend this cpu to anyone on the fence about it. Easy and painless order online and pickup in store.

Have been using AMD for a while now. This was actually kind of a future proof buy, but it is worth it. With the right GPU you just drop it in and away you go. Just as a precaution make sure your cooling is on point. Keeping everything running smoothly is essential.

the price is a bit high for what it is but if you can get it on sale below $200, its well worth the price for its performance. i got lucky and searched amazon while at the store and they was willing to price match it for me at $160 and since the 5600x was only about $30 less, i decided to grab this one.

Product woks exactly as expected and actually slightly above other benchmarks and rated cpu frequency with no overclocking. I nearly hit .2Ghz over manufacturer rating speed. I saw shortly after purchase that it was reduced in price by another $40 and Bestbuy refunded the difference which was definitely not expected but very welcome! I will continue shopping here looking for a desktop in te near future for a member of the family.

I was questioning whether the updgrade from a Ryzen 7 3700x to a 5800xt was worth it.. but got it on sale for 75$ off normal price, and I will say there is a noticable difference. All sources I can find and my benchamrks say its between a 25 and 30% inprovement.. and its super noticeable. Glad i made the small investment to extend the life of my PC another 4 to 5 years. I am goo now until i save up for an eventual am6 desktop in the future.

Great CPU for the price. Used some rewards dollars so reduced the price nicely. Nice upgrade if you don't want to buy a new motherboard and memory right now.

I upgraded my PC with the Ryzen 7 5800XT and the performance boost has been incredible. It runs everything smoothly, from AAA games to heavy multitasking and content creation. I have it paired with a 7600XT and it runs everything I throw at it at 4k. Just to name a few: Black Myth Wukong, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Hogwarts Legacy, Monster Hunter Wilds, all running 144fps on high/ultra settings and FSR capable when needed. The cooler it comes with is pretty good too! If you’re looking for a higher end CPU that can handle modern gaming, this is the best for its value right now!

This is a replacement for a ryzen 7 5700. Noticeably faster performance with this new CPU. Install was flawless with no issues. The included cooler works very well also. I had an AIO and decided to give the included fan cooler a try and I'm pleased with the results. Quiet and works well, plus it has RGB which I didn't expect.

Great for the cost. Just upgrade already. It made my work flow so much better

one of the best am4 CPU's for the price I upgraded from a Ryzen 3700x to this and I've noticed a big jump in productivity. The only downside is this runs pretty hot so I would recommend a good cooler and a motherboard that will handle a 105 Watt CPU.

Its been working quite well, was able to pick it up in town for only a few bucks more than i would have on amazon using best buy's price match, and I think its pretty good for the price, its also quite beefy of a cpu compared to the old laptop i was using.

Great mid range cpu. Price was excellent. Would recommend for any 1080p/1440p gaming build.
