    Great Battery Bank but Pricey

After the reports of 3rd party docks bricking Switches I wanted to make sure that I only used licensed Nintendo products to charge my switch. This product does the job well but I have a few issues with it. The first is the price. I got this on sale for $60 and even at that price I felt it was bit expensive. However the MSRP of $90 is ridiculous. The second issue is that the sleeve it comes with isn't large enough to comfortably fit both the charging cable and the battery. I end up feeling like the cable is jammed into the sleeve and over time I'm worried it will short the cable out. If the included sleeve was a little larger it would solve this issue. I could also keep it in a different bag but for the price it would be nice to not have to worry about that. The good news is the battery does its job well. It charges the Switch even while playing and it fast charges my phone many times over. It would be nice if you could quickly charge the battery with a phone charger (it will charge, just extremely slowly) rather than having to use the Switch's charger but I understand that's not an option given the difference in power between a phone charger and the Switch's charger. Overall I would give this 3.5 stars, at $60 it's worth picking up but at $90 it's a harder sell.

I love this collaboration between Anker and Nintendo. Not only is the battery optimised for better charging of the console, it also has enough juice to charge the Switch many times over. I absolutely recommend it if you're looking for a nice portable battery option for your Nintendo console.

Impulse purchase that ended up a must have

I jumped on this Anker officially licensed by Nintendo right away. I have had instances where I am on the go and need to charge my Nintendo Switch. I can charge it while using the Switch or while idle. No need to worry about an outlet. Plus, I can also use it for phones or tablets. It's compact enough to keep in my jacket or jeans pocket and charges my cell really fast. Only 1 small gripe and that's when I need to recharge the bank I have to use the AC adapter that goes into Switch Dock. Must have for anyone with a Switch and other devices.

I originally bought this for my nintendo switch, however i quickly started using it for my phone and other handheld devices. You will need to charge it with a switch charger (other chargers will not work). You have hours of power at your fingertips and it is especially useful for lengthy trips such as the airport or long road journeys. It is often on sale now as well but if you don't have one you will need this. Buy this sooner rather than later.

I got this battery to top up my Nintendo switch during marathon gaming sessions on trips. Works great with the switch, but also does so much more! I can use a usb-c to lighting cable to fast charge my iPhone X, as well as charging my iPad Pro. The capacity is more than enough to charge my devices multiple times. The battery itself charges within a few hours using a 30w usb-c power delivery charger. I am very satisfied! Don’t think twice - just get it

I have this thing for 2 years and it remains my only and favorite portable charging brick. The fact that it can charge my switch without any problems is a big selling point but the fact that mine has held up with NO problems for 2 years is HUGE

With a fully charged Switch and a fully charged Anker, you can get nearly 20 hours of play time on the go. You can also recharge virtually any USB powered device. This is a great quality pack that should give you years of use and plenty of versatility! Will not damage your Switch like a low quality device might.

I bought this as a means to keep my switch going when I'm playing in hand held mode, or want to charge it without having to plug it in. But the second appeal to this is that it's one of the few battery packs I've owned that actually fast charges my phone. I own the Pixel 4 and let me tell you, once it reaches below 10% I simply plug the battery pack and included usb-c cable into my phone and in less than an hour it's at 70%. Not to mention that it holds an almost absurd amount of power. I can fully charge my phone and switch interchangeably about 4-5 times before needing to recharge it. and it's designed to be recharged with the switch's power cord. Making this even easier to have around! So if you own a switch and you do a lot of portable gaming this is a MUST! And if you also happen to own a device that supports usb-c fast charging this is something you'll definitely want to have! The only drawback to this is that it does only have one USB port, as opposed to most other battery packs coming with two standard. So if you're looking for something versatile, this might not be it. This battery pack was designed to be used with the switch first and function as a battery pack second. If you're looking to buy a battery pack, and are willing to overlook that, you'll have a really solid high capacity battery pack that's relatively inexpensive.

Let me explain why I give it five stars, I can plug this charger up and play a game or two and it actually charges it 100% without phasing out the charge. I also hooked it up to my Sony XZ premium at the same time (no issues). Only thing I would say that if you want to charge more than two devices all at once. This Charger is not for you. Surprisingly long battery life and it its certified to work with your Nintendo Switch.

I can charge my iPhone and my game controller at the same time. I can do this about 3 times. When I only use it to charge my phone it lasts me two weeks, maybe 3 depending on how much I use my phone during those 3 weeks. Perfect for traveling, make sure to use the right charge brick because it can fully charge the portable charger in a few hours.

Works great, charges my switch quick, and it charges anything else I need. It will be great on a trip for my phone and my switch. I love the fact that it is matte black, unlike all these glossy products that will look like a scratched mess in a short time, this will look great for years to come. Highly recommended.

Good stuff. Compact and works as needed. TOok it on a day trip to Disneyland after Day 1 and 2 were longer than our phones could manage powerwise. Should have taken it with us everywhere. Not just for the switch in a long car ride... everywhere. Life saver. USB standard port and USB C.. you have all you need.

Take it from personal experience, I have a switch that no longer works and can’t be repaired due to charging it with a regular power bank. I’ve learned the way the switch uses power isn’t the conventional usb type c way. So regular chargers will destroy a switch motherboard. I’m on my second switch and decided I wasn’t playing around this time and picked this charger up. It works great! Charges quick and also while playing so you can always have power when you need it! Great product from a great brand!

for what this is... it is WAY OVERPRICED!!!! its just a charger! I bought a halo that can JUMP MY CAR and charge everything for $20 more. it is nice and small and sleek. I have only charged my iPhone X plus once from 3% to 100% and it still has 4 blue dots available. so if u r asking if it is a great charger for phones... then yes it is a good charger. I have not tried to charge my switch yet bc it is always plugged into my 65 inch tv. it is to expensive in my option for a charger, but I did get it on sale here for $30 off and another $25 in rewards so that is the reason I broke down and bought it to use on the airplane.

Probably one is the best items I can buy for myself. Not only I can use for my Nintendo switch but my phone as well. Great for traveling long distances on a car ride. The only thing I’m bummed about is that it does not come with a power brick but it comes with usb c wires.

I wanted a battery pack for my Switch but I was weary of using just any old one. It could be unfounded paranoia but I didn’t want to cause any troubles with my Switch. So when this one that is optimized for Switch was on sale, I jumped at it. It’s been working great so far. My only complaint is that it takes forever to charge if you don’t have an outlet with power delivery. From dead out of the box, it took like 2.5 days to fully charge. Fortunately it holds a good amount of charge. I’ve been using it to charge my phone, headphones, and other controllers and they barely put a dent in it. It comes with a carry pouch and a USB C to USB C cable only so keep that in mind.

love this!! Charges up my switch especially while playing! Would only get if it's on sale or open box (what I did) as this is $30 more than the regular anker battery as it's officially licensed by Nintendo, only got this because I don't want to worry about having my switch bricked by a non nitnedo product! Would recommend 10/10 but only if on sale as $90 is asking to much haha

The price on tis was too good to pass up. I already have a second dock and power supply at work, but now I don't have to worry about missing out on some Smash Bros. practice due to a dead battery. It's very easy to use and light enough to carry around. You will need to charge it with your Nintendo Switch power supply via the USB C port. Once it's charged, the lights all go off and you're ready to go. This may sound obvious, but be sure to use and recharge this battery. This type of battery can lose charge and power over a period of time. Don't fully charge it and store it for months. Charge your switch, your phone or your tablet at least once a month to keep your investment healthy.
