I was able to get this monitor on sale and it has been great to me for the last month. Colors really pop to me and everything is so much clearer. Coming from 1080p the difference is night and day. There is some color shifting when looking from different angles but unless you're super picky and for whatever reason viewing at different angles, this shouldn't be an annoyance for you. If you ran this monitor in a pair then it might be an issue. The 4K is incredible. Toms hardware has a pretty nice review on their website. I am using this monitor for music production and I can see my entire project loaded up in the DAW thanks to the 28 inch screen. I thought the colors looked really good how it came honestly. I didn't care too much for the other settings and just left it how it was when it arrived. This is a great entry level 4K monitor especially if you're on a budget. Also, gaming looks great. Even on low settings 4K really looks intense. Make sure you got a good gpu. I recommend picking this up on sale if you can. Heads up, the inputs on the back stick out of the monitor and also the monitor only tilts. It's not adjustable up or down. Not an issue for me. Buttons aren't that bad honestly. Not the greatest though either. I cant comment on freesync since I'm running off of a laptop with a GTX860M. Also, DISPLAY PORT IS THE ONLY WAY TO GET 60HZ 4K UNLESS YOU HAVE A HDMI 2.0 PORT ON YOUR COMPUTER!!! I had to grab a display port to mini display port for my laptop because mine doesn't support a HDMI 2.0 cord only HDMI 1.0. So I was only getting 30hz 4K and that is entirely unusable. So make sure you got HDMI 2.0 port and cable for your computer or get a display port to get that full 60hz 4K.

I love the display this monitor gives! I frequently edit photos and this display shows all of the detail I need. It looks great in high or low lighting. I absolutely made the right choice with this one!

This 28" 4K display is a great upgrade from my older 24" 1920x1200 display on my Win 10 system. I was a little worried that 28" would be too small for a 4K computer display but it is working out very good for me.

I use an ASUS VG24BQE for my PC and liked it so much that I bought one for my son at college, however, that unit did not work well with his Apple MacBook Pro. When he closed the unit, the ASUS monitor would not reawaken with the Mac upon opening and he would have to turn it on and off separately. Would not fix despite several efforts to resolve. Bought this unit based on solid specs, clarity and price, works very well for past several months.

This is a nice 4k monitor with limited frills. If you're looking for a display that looks nice, has 4k resolution, and are on a budget – this is a great option. I don't care about the toys and random settings, I just needed a monitor and this works for me.

This monitor was purchased as a Christmas gift at a very good price. Overall it is a decent monitor for the money. One of the outstanding features is the fact that you can connect VGA, DVI, HDMI or DisplayPort whereas most monitors in this class and price range only allow DisplayPort and HDMI. A recommendation I would make to anyone purchasing a large format 4K monitor would be to make sure your video card supports the resolution this monitor is capable of displaying otherwise you are not taking full advantage of what you have purchased. The other issue would be the distance at which you are viewing the monitor, buying a monitor that is too large causes eye strain and neck strain because you are not able to see the entire screen in your field of vision, this would be similar to sitting too close to the screen in a movie theater.

I bought this screen as I edit pictures in Light room and Photoshop. I really have enjoyed the size of the screen for all the detailed editing I do. My screensaver picture is so clear it almost looks 3D:) I must say the one thing that I needed to complain about is the hardware for the screen's base isn't screwing in properly to secure my monitor to the base fully. I will be calling and requesting another screw. Also, I wish the monitor could tilt whichever way I desired. It does not at all.

not using it for gaming, just to get a lot of stuff on one monitor instead of two or three. works great for that, but wow is the text small. probably helps to be nearsighted. The AOC screen splitting software allows multiple options, eg, two side by side, 4 quadrants, and more. One feature i do not like about the software, however, is a screen segment is automatically filled when you put a browser window in it. For example, if i have the software set up for two side by side segments and have a browser window open in the middle of the screen and try to widen it, it will automatically fill one of the two segments--not what i intended.

My PC cannot drive 4k so I haven't tested that feature yet, but the clarity, response time, and ease of use are top jotch. I bought it on sale for $260, an incredible value.

Very good quality 4K monitor for the price. I got it on sale for less than 300.00 and am pleasantly surprised with the picture clarity, brightness, and the ability to make custom adjustments from the built in menu or the software menu that can be downloaded. I paired this with the new Nvidia GTX 1080 graphics card and have no complaints so far. I wish it had Gsync, but then the price would be double what it is. The lack of Gsync hasn't been a problem so far with any games I've played. I haven't noticed any light-bleed around the edges of the screen that a few people have mentioned. No regrets.

The title of the review says it all. It does work but I could never get it to work in 4k with Surface Pro tablets. It did work well with desktop computers. The picture was not up to my expectations but the price was really good. You get what you pay for.

I purchased 2 of these for side by side work on my desk. Overall I am happy. The content is beautiful and crystal clear. I do have issues that sometimes the monitors will flicker off and on for a moment. Not sure if this is due to the 4k or the DP connectors. I have spoken to others with different 4k monitors and they experience the same thing.

Wanted a freesync monitor to go with the RX 480 graphics card and love the results. Negatives are that stand is not adjustable and no vesa mount. Also no USB hub, but at $300 tough to beat. Suggest you read the full review on Tom's Hardware.

Not the highest end UHD monitor, but you would never know it to look at it. Picture quality is still awesome and not as expensive as the high end monitors.

I really like this monitor. I've got it hooked up to a MacBook Pro 13" and it works like a charm. My only concern is that it (or the MacBook, can't tell which) seems to be sensitive to static electricity. I'll move my feet on my hardwood floor, and the monitor will flicker black. Really strange. That's my only concern. Other than that it's been great. Nice colors and depth, good blacks and looks fantastic with graphics applications and games. What makes me a bit excited is the text clarity. I work as a software developer, and as such I stare at text on the screen every day and having something that is easy on the eyes is key.
