This is one of many APC units our office has purchased over the last 20 years. Their units are reliable and very simple to install. In researching in the past, I have found their specifications to be at the high end but pricing is quite reasonable.

I have been a APC customer for over 15 years and have never had a bad unit. The APC BX1500G unit is just as good the BX1300G, the only difference is that the 1300 has a 780 watt load capacity vs the 865 for the 1500. Living if Florida, power interruptions are a part of life. I have 7 APC units within the home. The digital display of the load,voltage, etc is outstanding. Depending on the load on the UPS units, the battery backup gives you plenty of time to shutdown your computers, TV's, etc with plenty of time to spare...if need be. APC has great reputation due to their great product along with tech support. If you need a battery backup, my recommendation is to use APC.

We purchased this item to protect some of our mission critical servers and we've used it previously. We've been very happy with the product overall. Easy to setup. Easy to maintain.

Had an older model of the APC prior to this which lasted forever. So far, so good with this battery. It was easy to assemble and get up and running. Hope it lasts just as long.

This thing works really well, I am glad I purchased the larger unit. The recent snow storm tested it to the max and it worked like a charm.

Good looks, good price, good performance. This is the second APC UPS I have purchased. No complaints. Easy to set up, easy to down load on screen controls.

Probably one of their best that they sell. They have a few back ups that might be worth it but the have only 6 outlets. This one has 10. Great display. Easy to use and read. It is a little spendy but you get what you pay for. It comes with a great warranty so if something happens to it and say your gaming desktop or tv and ps4 goes out they'll pay for it.

Second time to purchase this brand. Very easy to setup and use. Works great against the power surges I get at my home office. Lifesaver!

I've used APC UPS units for 30 years, and this one is an evolutionary improvement; all the features of their previous UPS systems, and rock-solid reliability. Yeah, it isn't the least expensive on the market, but considering what it's protecting, it's cheap insurance. It's survived three serious storms since I bought it, and more importantly, the system it protects wasn't even fazed. Get one - you'll like it.

I have two of these APC UPSs. They are solid performers, well designed, and offer more than sufficient run time.

An uninterruptible power supply is really a necessity. Power outages are a part of life and while a computer system can survive one, each will weaken the system and potentially corrupt files. APC has been making some of the best. There's not much to do: unbox it, flip the battery over (making it active) and plug in your units. The batteries are good for 4 - 5 years before they need to be replaced. These units also work well for your big screen TV or audio system.

I bought this because we lose power often here in Houston and I have horrible cell service in my area. I wanted this for the sole purpose of being able to keep my router and microcell going during a power outage in order to still have internet access and cell phone reception. Its a much appreciated added bonus that it also protects all of my expensive home theater equipment from surges and spikes in power. Will be buying another for other areas of the house soon.

Does everything I need it to do without fail. I have a small home office and it is extremely important that I keep running when the power goes out. Due to my semi-remote location I seem to experience power fluctuations and outages more than I care to. However, with this device, I haven't had to worry. I keep moving right along without a hiccup for longer than I expected the batteries to last and still plenty of time to shutdown systems gracefully after working for at least an hour on battery!

First i would like to mention how little space this takes up. this UPS offers both battery backup and surge protection. Another thing i would like to mention is that i have had to replace a battery on this and it is so easy to do this overall i have had no problems with this UPS and APC makes good products.

This battery backup system is great to have during a power outage. It allows you time to safely power down your PC. It protects your valuable electronics from a power serge. It's reliable and efficient.

I purchased this UPS system because my power where I live goes out on a regular basis. I am a preacher and I write sermons and and notices and meditations and constantly need to be with power. This UPS has a very long work time I like the display that tells me the approximate minutes that I have left. I would be very comfortable purchasing another one of these in the future should I need another UPS. I strongly recommend this product.

Bought this for my computer and other items. Have my gaming computer, three monitors, and printer plugged into it (along with a few random things). It still hasn't reached max capacity and says it will run for 30 minutes with everything plugged in. Turned my breaker off to test. While using my computer the whole time I got 27 minutes before it died. APC is a trusted brand and anyone thinking of getting it or debating if they need one I would recommend getting this.

Running dual xeons and dual gpu with a 34 inch monitor. Also plugged in is a 52 inch Sony Bravia 2 speaker systems a r8500 router a modem and 5 lights and a tree with a partridge in it. 13 minutes run time even with my whole room plugged into the UPS. I may get another one to clear a half hour of run time blacked out. I tripped the breaker to see and seamlessly transferred without incident..... I really like this thing

Provides solid performance, display easily shows power draw and estimate up time based on current load.

This back-up device was easy to set-up and offers good protection for my computer during a power outage.
