The Apollo City Pro 2023: Effortless Excitement on

Having recently ventured into the world of electric scooters, my family and I chose the Apollo City Pro 2023 for its promise of efficiency and fun. After covering nearly 200 miles, it’s safe to say that this scooter has not only met but exceeded our expectations. Setup and Usability: Setting up the Apollo City Pro was a breeze, and syncing it with its companion app was equally straightforward. The controls are intuitive, making it easy for any full-grown adult to get the hang of it quickly. Performance: Living in the hilly terrains of Northeast Georgia, the dual motors of this scooter are a standout feature. They make climbing hills feel almost effortless. The drum hand brakes are reliable and responsive, but the scooter’s regenerative electronic braking system is so efficient that we rarely need to use them. The 10” tubeless, self-healing tires, and dual suspension make for a very smooth and stable ride. And the entire design of the scooter is built for very low maintenance needs. Battery Life: The true star of the Apollo City Pro is its robust battery range. Whether we’re zipping to local parks or exploring neighborhood trails, the scooter consistently delivers long-lasting power, maintaining a respectable pace and still having plenty of juice left after a good ride. When it’s time to charge, the fast charger has you ready to go pretty quickly. Riding Experience: But beyond its technical prowess, what truly sets this scooter apart is the sheer joy it brings to every ride. Gliding on the Apollo City Pro is akin to skiing down a giant slalom course or cruising through the champagne powder of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. There’s an exhilarating sense of freedom and adventure, making it hard to suppress a smile as you ride. Conclusion: If you’re in the market for an electric scooter that combines ease of use, impressive performance, and an exhilarating experience, the Apollo City Pro 2023 is an excellent choice. It’s not just a mode of transportation; it’s an invitation to joy and adventure on two wheels.

I love the product and it came with no issues in packaging. Maybe due to the holidays, the shipping took longer then originally stated.

I like it but the handle bar really breaks it

I really like the way a novice can pick up the scooter and ride it. The speed it goes for the price is ok, I’ve gone as fast as 32mph.. not sure if it can go faster than than than but that’s the fastest it’s gone for me. The suspension is really nice. What I don’t like is that the handlebar is too wide for any attachments. I was planning on adding things from my other scooter and bicycle but nope. That limits to what I can add and forces me to buy a second handle bar. One of the screws in the front of my scooter kept loosening up way faster in comparison to the rest. Looks like it got dull a bit. The clip to hook up once it folds is really flimsy and practically useless. The first time I tried using it, the black half of it fell off. I put it back in but it was still loose.

Inupgraded from a fully modded Segway G30 max. Its like upgrading from a Civic to a Lexus. The scooter isnt without fauls but it really is the most polished package in the sub $2k, sub 70lbs class. Pros: Design, fit&finish, ride comfort, adequate speed and acceleration. Cons: The app is utterly useless, not the cheapest in its class. tbd: Apollo’s questionable reputation for support and customer service. Its been a great commuter so far, lets see what the 500 miles will be:)

Love my scooter I’ve rode 100 miles already and it rides like a dream. My commute to work is about 7 miles one way so 14 miles round trip. I usually charge it at work after the first 7 miles and then again the night before. It can make the 14 mile trip on one charge but only if I go 25mph. At full speed (32 mph) it will get maybe 10 miles of range. Overall it has a really smooth ride and accelerates quick.

Purchased the Apollo City Pro 2024 on sale and learned that it was in fact the 2023 model. Manufacturer research suggested that in 2023 they made adjustments/refinements. Luckily the model received seemed to have the upgrades for previously reported issues, and I am guessing thats why it could be sold advertised as a 2024 model. The scooter is plenty fast, and still moves well great up hill. Research suggested the dual motor and power would be needed for respectful climbs up a decent grade incline. With the power and speed comes the added size & weight. I find it isn't as easy to tote around as I had thought. The weight isn't terrible, I use a heavy duty sling, but its just awkward to tote through the halls and into my office, but in my opinion beats relying on a lock and leaving it outside the building. The lock may secure it, but someone may still mess with it. It's definitely fun to just take a quick ride through the neighborhood on.

This scooter is loaded with awesome tech and has a solid build quality. I was able to cruise at 32 mph when the tires were properly inflated and the battery was fully charged. It felt a bit heavy when I first took it out of the box, but after a few days of taking it out of storage and a few laps around the neighborhood, it became easy to handle. I can’t wait to hit the open road when the weather warms up!

I have really enjoyed this scooter. The suspension makes riding sidewalks a breeze. My only issue is with the range. No way no way no way itll go 40 miles. I ride 2 miles to work and after 2 days im below 50% battery. Since the mode will change to eco, and go much slower when it needs the charge i dont let it get that low. Overall love it though!

The Apollo City Pro is a very refined scooter. I appreciated the fit and finish of the unit but not need to use an app to make changes. I could not get the app to connect to the unit and therefore it was useless to me. I read online several other people having the same issue. The last thing you need is to be stranded some place or find your phone dead when needed to make changes to the scooter. This is definitely a case of buyer beware. Ultimately I returned the unit

Fantastic so far! I own a number of Electric Scooters, and thus far this is my favorite. The regen brake is in it's own class, the suspension is even better than my Segway GT2, and it handles great.

Everybody on YouTube pretends like this scooter is so great. The suspension is bad. The brakes are bad. The app is bad. The ergonomics are nothing good. When you fold it the handlebars bash into the rear lip. Don't buy Chinese scooters people. There's a reason we don't drive Chinese cars. The first time you need to fix something or maintain something, you will realize that this scooter is built like your cell phone. What do you do when your cell phone breaks? You replace it. Is that what you want to do with this scooter? Replace it when it breaks? As far as I'm concerned the Apollo city pro is rolling e-waste.

Excellent scooter! The speed hits the sweet spot of being fun but not overkill. It can tackle hills very well. The range is pretty good, and is a great balance of mileage vs weight. It's a perfect scooter for someone getting into it.
