Its a really reliable item, but sometimes it blacks out when im playing a high power game, other than that its really good.

Wasn’t sure at first but I now love this way more than Windows. Beautiful looking, simple design, high performance yet quiet as a mouse, doesn’t bombard you with constant updates every day like Windows 10 does. Takes up very little space. I don’t play games on it but it’s great for music recording and photo editing.

This purchase of my iMac has been my best decision for my business that I’ve ever made. This iMac has taken my business to the next level. I would recommend this desktop to anyone in the fence of upgrading their business computer. I give 100 stars.

This computer is the bomb. I only needed to add more memory

Purchased an “open box excellent certified “ and wow…had no orginal packing at all, no manual, looked like a chiles wraped it in bubble wrap after popping ALL of the air bubbles, and will not turn on!!! It sounds like a jet trying to take off and screen never even flickers. Ive had issue with best buy in the past but its all been normal business stuff, products breaking after return period and what not, aggravating but not all best buys fault. This is by far the worst experience ive ever had to deal with, im being told its open box and nothing is guaranteed, but the open box level purchased clearly states a geek squad member did a professional cleaning and test of the whole system and GUARANTEES the highest quality…just be cautious of ALL open box that you cant hold in your hand before purchasing.

I love the computer, the screen makes me able to work so much easier, my ow issue is it just restarts with no warning.

What can I say? It's an apple so it's amazing quality. Picture quality, speed and memory are top notch.

Had my eye on this open box iMac for about three months. The moment I committed via online purchase, it was sold from under me in store, at my local Best Buy. Happy to see that it was returned (red flag, I know!). Picked it up for an even lower price only to take it home to find that the HD was wiped clean with no Mac OS installed! Tenacity finally triumphed as I was able to finally connect to the Apple Servers to download the MacOS - but it took a couple of days and a lot of Internet research to do so, which, I assume, is the reason it was returned. When I finally was able to get it up and running, it worked as expected. Copied the data from my previous iMac flawlessly. This is my third 27” iMac and the last one produced in this chassis. Love the SSD performance (though Apple did not provide nearly enough affordable storage options for this machine). A bonus… whoever purchased and returned this machine added an additional 32 Gig of memory (OWC brand) providing me 40 Gig. I was prepared to install additional chips - BTW, the ONLY upgrade you can make to this machine - but held off due to the pleasant surprise. The upgraded FaceTime camera is a great feature as well. My only complaints - I couldn’t buy AppleCare for the machine. It was in Apple’s internal database as sold and resold, thus inelligible for AppleCare. Also, the fan noise was unbearable but I believe this was linked to the OS. This is my secondary Mac so I have the Beta OS loaded - until most recently the fans were running at over 3000 RPM’s (nearly 3x’s the typical speed) on and off - and it is VERY noticeable. My daughter said, “Dad, it sounds like a jet plane in your office!” I took it to Apple who reinstalled the non-beta version which did the trick. UPDATE: I had to go back to the Beta Version for technical reasons but the most recent update (February ‘24) seems to have resolved the fan issue. If you are lucky enough to find on in the Open Box seaction for less than $1700 - you should not hesitate! I purchased it, ultimately, for $1350 after keeping a watchful eye on the price. Dropped from $1900, to $1700 (purchased and returned) dropped to $1350 when bought by me. A tremendous deal for a workhorse of a machine that runs Apple’s most recent OS.

Bought this for my wife and she loves it. Color really pops with the 5K display. Has plenty of power for almost any task you throw at it. It's the last of the Intel based Apple iMacs which allows for easy installation of additional RAM if needed which you can't do on the new Apple silicon based iMacs.

This computer is the best I have ever had fast and a beautiful screen

Absolutely love it. I am a music production enthusiast, who also dabbles in video. I love this iMac, and I have never had any issues with it. My only complaint is that it only came with a 512 gig hard drive, and that is not something easily upgradable. Had to buy external. But as far as performance goes, this thing does everything I need without any issues. Fast, reliable, consistent. And quiet for when I'm recording. I love it.

Love the apple products, was an open box but still with warranty, Works still great as new

Acquired my top of the line new 2020 iMac a couple of weeks ago and it performs great as a new Apple product would be expected to perform. Excellent response from the 512GB SSD. Have utilized CleanMyMac to keep my storage size to a minimum. I did not get the i9. The i7 gives great response. Graphics are fast with the extra capability of this model. Added 16GB of RAM to the existing 8GB that came standard and have 24GB total RAM. Started with my first Macintosh in 1986 and have had new models every three or four years since. Got a good price for my old iMac that was a little over three years old. No waiting around for things to happen with the power of this new iMac. Love it!

Excellent computer Fast great picture easy to use very user-friendly

Amazing, this machine handles everything I throw at it quickly, and beautifully. I was worried about only 8 gb but I haven’t even noticed it. Wish the internal ssd was a bit bigger, but you can get an external with more storage than you will ever need at pretty zippy speeds. This has even handled every Mac game I threw at it. Also incredible Wi-Fi signal reception on this thing. Not crazy about the keyboard and mouse, wish they were a little bigger.

Love it! Screen is large and super fast and lots of storage.

In full disclosure, this is the first iMac that I have owned and used. Both my kids haves MacBooks which they love. I must say that I truly enjoy using the iMac computer. It’s easy to use. Almost too easy. It took me a little bit to get used to the Mac structure instead of the Windows system, but once you learn it, it’s very user friendly. I did upgrade the memory to 64 gigs up from 8. It was SUPER SIMPLE to do and I recommend it. I also added an external SSD for it, but it’s not necessary. My only complaint would be the price, but I knew that before I purchased it. The graphics on it are amazing and I’m truly amazed at what an enjoyable machine this is. I do like the keyboard and mouse which is different than a traditional keyboard in size. Take the plunge and buy one. You won’t regret it!

I replaced an 11 year old Mac with this one. I loved the old one, but this has more speed, bigger hard drive, a bigger screen, and all the other bells and whistles. This is the best computer I’ve ever used. I can only hope that I get 11 years out of this one.
