Bought this I pad because my iPad 2 was getting old and knew what a great device the iPad is. I had my IPad 2 for about 5 years and have used it every night for that time. So knew this new Ipad was going to be a great purchase and I was not wrong..The iPad air is a great device. It is very fast and so light. The camera is great too. The price was great as well through best buy. I bought it online and it was delivered fast and free shipping. I like that it has fingerprint ID too. It was a very easy transition from my old iPad to my new one. I really like everything about the iPad Air. You can't go wrong with Apple. I would recommend this device to anyone.

I upgraded from my 2nd generation iPad. One too many updates for the old iPad. The iPad Air 2 is fluid and fast. Much thinner and lighter than previous models.

If you're going to buy a tablet you might as well buy an iPad Air 2. I know it's a bit pricy but it's well worth it. It's super thin and light. I bought the Apple smart case to put it in as well as a Bluetooth keyboard to use for typing. You can also download the Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint apps which are great! Definitely recommending this to everyone!

As a former owner /user of Apple's iPad 2 (A5 Arm Processor), this upgrade is worth it for a number of reasons including 1) the new A8 processor is noticeably faster, especially on video and graphics intensive streaming websites (ie: CNBC App) 2) noticeably lighter and thinner in your hands (buy a protective Smart Cover / case (ie: from eBay, etc) 3) supports Siri (note: Apple did not support Siri on iPad2.. Probably to motivate people, like me, to upgrade ;-) 4) bonus: IOS 8.1.2 on an iPhone + iPad supports integrated SMS texting. As long as your iPad is on the same wifi network, your iPad can send and receive SMS text messages (using your iPhone also on iOS 8.1.2). Additionally, your iPad can send and receive phone calls, again, provided you have enabled this feature on your iPhone with iOS 8.1.2 and both are on the same wifi network (ie: in your home or office). 5) new finger print sensor, capable of supporting up to 5 different finger prints (ie: from the same or multiple people) is a secure time saver, especially useful when unlocking your iPad Air 2 or purchasing an app from Apple's AppStore. 6) don't even think about getting the 16GB version. Minimum usable size = 64GB 7) new 802.11ac wifi support (not available on other iPad models) enables much faster download bandwidth. Based on Comcast / Xfinity Boost wifi service + 802.11ac enabled router, I get download speeds in excess of 125Mbps and upload speeds in excess of 15Mbps supporting smooth video streaming especially when you have a household of streaming devices. Recommendation: although iOS 8.1.2 can be jailbroken, I have found it is not a good idea for a couple of reasons including 1) jailbraking the iOS often disables certain Apps (ie: streaming apps in particular, like TiVo and CNBC) from operating correctly. 2) jailbraking undermines the security that Apple has incorporated into the iOS. With such things as one-touch finger print security, iPad unlock and Apple Pay now supported, why would you want to undermine security by installing software that hasn't been verified by Apple on your brand new iPad Air 2?

Apple's latest iPad is sleeker, lighter, and faster. It's a highly polished top notch quality product. I will note there is more value now in the mid tier storage category - as it's 64gb now. The new iOs adds some nice bells and whistles. See attached photo for a basic look at how CPU and graphic performance has increased.

I got a good trade in from Best Buy on my gen 3 and upgraded to the latest and greatest - better, faster, smaller, lighter. The most impressive thing so far was how fast and easy it was to recover all my settings, data, apps, etc. during the setup. Everything went flawlessly. All my old apps were even placed in the exact same locations.

I upgraded from the original iPad 2 to the iPad Air 2. The iPad Air 2 is much slimmer, lighter, and easier to hold than the iPad 2. The stability of it is awesome! I know the newest one will be coming out soon, but Best Buy had a sale on the 64gb gold version for $499 instead of $599 so I jumped on it! Besides I was due for an upgrade anyway since the last upgrade I had was an iPad mini 2 with Retina display.

I had a 3rd generation 16gb iPad and was very satisfied with it but I really wanted a 32gb and with the Air 2 coming out not only was it great timing but I was able to get 64gb for the same price as a 32gb when Apple had the 32gb. I truly like the minor updates of it being lighter and thinner. This purchase was simply more of an upgrade for me as I do trust this product.

I bought an Apple - iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi 64GB - Gold from Best Buy. It's an excellent product to use. Touch of this iPad Air2 and high quality of videos is excellent. I am enjoying playing games, reading books and listening songs. It having such a wonderful front and back camera which is better than many digi cam. Never got any kind of issue since using last two months.

I put the Air in a holder and set it on an patio table while I sit in a swing and watch Netflix movies and youtube videos. I use a Bluetooth speaker if I need a little more sound. Sometimes there is a little more noise outside. I still prefer the iPad mini to carry around, fits my big shirt pocket just fine but the Air is better for being a swing potato.

Having never owned a tablet before, but being already in the iOS family with an iPhone 5, the iPad Air 2 is a perfect fit. No new learning curves only new possibilities. The first trial of the new pad was at a trade show event where it worked seamlessly. Everyone was able to navigate our form and had a great time doing it electronically. Later in the day I took that same pad and played candy crush in stunning HD. This works great as a business machine and a personal entertainment device.

I have an ipad Air 2 and my husband was always borrowing it, so I decided to surprise him with his OWN ipad Air 2! He absolutely loves it! His Kindle is now history, as he has transferred his library to the ipad Air 2. With one device, he can access e-mail, answer phone calls, read books, surf the internet, keep up with everyone on Facebook, shop, and explore destinations for future camping trips! He loves his new iPad Air 2 - and I love having mine back!

Completely satisfied with all the new features. It's faster, lighter, and easier to hold than my original iPad 2. Love the new gold color and it was easy to set up. The thumb print is a little temperamental but catching on with the placement. I would be happy to recommend it to anyone. My neighbor just bought one too. We're enjoying it together.

I started with an original iPad, then on to iPad 2, then iPad Air and now iPad air2. At th ag of 75, talked several girlfriend into them and then taught them how to use them. Now we keep busy playing games from different part of the country. Love the apps from excel to games. Have all my recipes in files as well as pictures and business. My previous iPad handed down to hubby of 55 year and adult children :-)
