I’ve got two phones, and typically upgrade each year, so I’ve used a lot of options. Most of the cases I’ve used have been Otterbox or Apple, although Lifeproof and some random brands have been in the mix also. Long story short, I got my first of these for one of my iPhone 12’s. When I got my new 13’s, I bought an Otterbox Symmetry and a similar minimalistic clear design from Insignia. After a few days I’ve noticed my hands were sensitive in several places from ridges on the cases. Not defects, just parts of the hard plastic designs that over time were really annoying. Yesterday I picked up the case I’m reviewing here and swapped out one of the others for comparison. I’m typing this review while waiting for the second one of these cases to be ready for in-store pick-up. It is MUCH more comfortable in the hand. It is smooth for ease of moving in and out of pockets, but the leather still provides a soft and grippable surface which I don’t fear fumbling. For me, these cases are the perfect balance of moderate protection, comfortable use, and minimalist design. Not cheap, but for something I use throughout every day, worth the expense.

I’ve used the Apple leather case on all of my iPhones since it first came out because it feels and looks good and is not thick. So far, I feel the same way about the new iPhone 13 pro leather case. I used the 11 pro leather case for two years and the leather case protected it really well but the leather did start to look not as good after about a year. The 13 pro leather case has all sides covered; whereas the 11 pro case had the bottom open. One thing to be aware of, the camera bump part of the case is not flush with the case so the phone is not completely leveled when laying flat. Overall, I highly recommend this case. It fits well, looks good, and gives me the protection I want.

The MagSafe is amazing and I alleyways get the leather is a must with the premium smooth leather smells good too lol and these allways age good would last 2 years but by that time I always upgrade with the new iPhones do wish they would be slight cheaper .

Great case as always by Apple since it’s fully enclosed. In certain angles the case looks black, but the true color is like a dark blue. The picture I took compares the top (iPhone 12 Pro Black Leather case) bottom (iPhone 13 Pro Midnight Leather case) I think the transition to two colors is awesome.

Elegant. Slim. MagSafe... what else needs to be said? is it worth $59+... maybe not but this does feel premium and it being Apple's own line with MagSafe makes this an easy pick up. Sure there are more affordable options out there or even more expensive ones. When you purchase any device $800, 900 or $1k plus can you really skimp out on cases? doubt it. pick this up you'll like it!

Good case. Solid corner protection with self healing leather. Wax coating on leather prevents patina. I dropped this phone from 6 feet onto marble tile and it hit square on a corner. The leather had a chunk taken out of it, but it appears to be self healing to a certain extent. Like previous Apple cases, it’ll experience heavy wear around the corners and lip which detracts from the appearance. Weak protection for the front side LCD. The front lip gripping around the frame is weak and if the phone is dropped and lands on the front facing corner, the case will offer zero protection.

Just purchased this purchased this case in wisteria. It has a more blueish hue on the display photos and when you take a picture of it but it's more of a dark lavender color with a purplish hue. The case has perfect cut out and buttons are easy to press. Love that it fully covers the phone unlike the clear MagSafe case that's open on the bottom. Only complaint is that if you use any MagSafe accessories, it leaves an imprint of the magnet on there.. I have a MagSafe pop socket and put it on my case overnight and it already has an imprint. If that doesn't bother you then definitely get the case it's worth the investment!

Good quality leather case from apple. It still hold well after a year of use.

Case fits well, cutouts line up. Phone recognizes it as an apple case vs third party. BUT, it will not protect well, or at all, in certain drops. If you push on 3 of the corners, not the one with the camera cluster, the case pushes back easily. If a drop were to hit one of those 3 corners you can forget about protection, your phone will be damaged. Minus 2 stars for subpar protection. Next issue, I have the "Golden Brown", essentially orange, and I love the color but it is already beginning to show signs of wear in the corners after just 5 days of use. I can't tell if its scuffed or dirty. Either way, the case will look like crap after a few months. At $60 I expect premium, there are $5 cases that hold up better than this. Minus another star for subpart quality (should be 2 due to cost). I do not recommend.

Very light and classy looking leather case. However, I hate that it looks dirty over time on the ridges (even in just 2 months).

Bought this as a present for my wife along with a MagSafe wallet. It looks good and also has protected the phone well when it’s been dropped a few times. My wife loves the MagSafe wallet function.

Have always used Apple leather cases along with name brand glass screen protectors on my iPhones. This case is a nice leather, stylish but simple, fits like a glove, not too thick but offers enough protection if you are one who isn't extremely rough on your phone. The color is not jet black but black with a slight dark blue tone thus the Midnight color description. Have had no problem charging phone in case on non-Apple chargers.

Great minimalist case that offers some protection. The case is snug, but easy to install and remove if necessary. It offers more grip friction than the phone itself while still sliding into, and out of my pocket easily. It’s a bit pricey, more than I’d spent on other cases, but I wanted light weight and a slim profile this time around and it fit the bill, especially since in stock options that were comparable were pretty slim pickings.

High quality, decent protection, great looks, adds to the design of the phone.

Best iPhone 13 pro case in my opinion. I tried a few cases from amazon but they were all cheap and had bad wear within weeks/months. I bought this case and the premium leather feels great in my hands. The color of it too is very nice! It makes my iPhone 13 pro look very nice and feels very nice! 11/10! Despite the high price, great product.

Perfect fit - after 12 months of use the case looks like new.

I was hesitant to buy this color but did anyway and am glad I did. It has a bright look but in a short time it turns a bit more brownish tan. I've received many compliments and the leather is good quality. Good protection as well.

In the past, Apple made slim little cases with a thin layer of leather on them and they didn't feel very protective at all. Needless to say, I avoided them for a few years, but a lot has changed since then. This case has a plastic backing that's nearly as strong as an Otterbox Symmetry and yet lacks the bulk of the symmetry. The fit is snug and the finish is very nice! It no longer feels like a cheap piece of leather wrapped around a flimsy piece of plastic. To add to the luxury of the item they finished it with metal buttons and embossed Apple Logo. Overall, I doubt I'll buy any other case for my future iPhones, unless apple reverts on the quality again. I love way it feels in my hand and the minimal footprint it currently has. Highly Recommend this to anyone serious about protecting their iPhone in style!

I am not typically a purple fan, but I love this color, especially when complemented with the sierra blue iPhone. This case is soft and seems to be softer and better made than last year’s iteration. First, the buttons are best in class. With the metal feel and the responsive click, they feel like the genuine buttons are are by far the best buttons on any case I’ve ever used. Next, the phone case offers raised lip protection around the screen, even after a screen protector is installed, and around the large camera setup. I love the leather texture, the embossed Apple logo, the precise cutouts, the minimal design of the entire case, and the patina of the leather. Most cases look worse after some age marks, but leather ages quite nicely and adds to the overall look of the case. The MagSafe connector is stronger than last year’s and I have no issue using my MagSafe wallet and floating doc station with this case. It also is more nicely secured by the felt material on the inside of the case than that of last year. I have drubbed and bumped this case a number of times already, but to my surprise, this is showing much less wear and tear than the one I had last year, which already had some ding marks after day one. This is not to say it doesn’t show scratches, but those do heal to blend in nicely to create that patia and, so far, nothing serious has occurred to my case aside from a scratch mark or two. The only fault I’ll give this case is one of the same I would give last years: a good drop will allow the phone to pop out of a corner of the case. I have not fully had the phone dislodge and I think the MagSafe magnets assist in that; however, I have had to snap my phone back into the case after one of my drop, which is worrisome to me. Overall, I do love this case and I hope it continues to age gracefully and maintains the ability to weather the drops and bumps without showing it. I expect the leather to get even softer and the handling to only improve from it’s already great state. MagSafe works like a dream and everything fits snugly, with precise cutouts and clicks buttons. While this isn’t the case I would take on my most intense adventures, it is the case I hope will get me through the year as my main companion. I love the color, the patina, the handling, and the overall look and feel of this product.
