I've been thinking about getting the smart case for my iPhone 7 for a while now. I noticed my battery not lasting a whole day without having to charge it once or twice. So I decided to give a shot. At first I was like $100 for a external battery was a bit much. I love the look and feel of it. Easy to install and it was actually comfortable in your hands. Little heavy but you get use to it. I love how I can go from 7am to about 11pm without charging it with heavy use of the phone throughout the day. It's amazing. Case is so great that I bought a white and the black so I switch lol. I love how the lighting cord can charge the case so I don't have to worry about messing up the charging port on my phone. Don't regret getting it at all. Just wish there were more color selections. But I'm still happy with the case. Had it for about 5 months. Thanks Apple

Keeps a good charge all day. Good protection. Only complaint is the it is a little heavy compared to other cases

Extends battery life to all-day use even with my four year-old watching movies and playing games on a road trip. I like that the battery life indicator for the case is built into the ios software. The soft grippy feel is first class. Only complaint is that the added width takes some getting use to and I find my hand fatiguing faster than without the case.

LOVE THIS CASE! Better than any other Battery case I've owned. No need to charge the case separately from your iPhone. Your iPhone cord charges both devices simultaneously- when using, the case Battery is used first, resulting in less phone drain & wear over time. This product changed my life!! I NEVER WORRY about my phone running out of battery :)

I've been a die hard mophie user for years. This case is so much lighter and doesn't get hot like the mophie. I thought the bump on the back might be bothersome, but doesn't bother me at all. Phone stays charged for a couple of days...with heavy usage. The mophie probably lasted a little longer when it was new. I like this one better so far.

The battery case is worth the money if you use your phone throughout the day or forget to charge it at night. It uses the battery case charge before it uses your phones battery charge. I use my phone a lot and most nights it still has not touched my phones battery life. Only problem is that sometimes I run into the problem when talking to others on the phone that they may not hear me as clearly when on speaker phone.

A very convenient tool. Great for long days. Works with the new se 2020 and iPhone 6s. Phone is at 100% when I get home. I charge the case by itself and I’m ready again for the next day or next time I use it. It charges your phone to, when the iPhone is low, but then of course you will drain the case. Either way, this case was a clever idea. The Smart part: You don’t need a on/off switch, just use your case, then when that is at 0%, your phone battery kicks in. You can charge while still on the phone too of course.

I was skeptical at first, but after using this for a couple weeks, it turned out to be a solid device. I have heard many people opine the device's design and lack of usual Apple flair, and I have to agree, the design is somewhat obtuse. However, from a practical standpoint, I have come to appreciate it. Before I tried this device, I used Mophie's popular Juicepack Air. However, I did not care for the extra bulk the Mophie added. When I started using this case from Apple, I immediately preferred its ergonomics. Let me explain. In the middle of the device, you can definitely see that it matches the thickness of the Mophie Juicepack Air. However, the "ungainly" hump on Apple's case is nice from an ergonomic standpoint, as the battery bulge and extra thickness does not cover the entire back of the device. Instead, the top, bottom and edges of the back are pretty close to the thickness of a regular rubber case. So at least for me, when holding my phone with the Apple case in my hand, I preferred how easy it was to grip the bottom and sides compared to the all around thickness of the Mophie unit. As far as weight, I found the Mophie and this case to feel similar in the hand as far as heft, and quick acclimated to both. As for performance, this case definitely differs from the Mophie case mentioned above in a few key areas. First, overall capacity is pretty similar, with both cases extending your phone almost a full charge. Whereas the Mophie case can be turned on and off at will with its power button, this Apple case works automatically. So essentially, after plugging in overnight, when I take my phone off the charger, the case will discharge slowly, keeping the phone at 100%. Once the case discharges, you still have 100% phone battery left that then is used by the phone. The only way to know the battery charge status of the case while in use is to look on your iPhone's battery status indicator. However, if you are charging the case by itself, without the phone inserted, there is a status indicator on the inside of the case. So if you like having the option to decide when the case turns on and off, this is not the case for you. However, if you prefer just to unplug and go, without worrying about having to press a separate power button for your case, this one is for you! A couple other notes. In my use so far, I have not felt the Apple case get overly warm at all while charging the phone. When using the Mophie case, there was a noticeable increase in warmth, though never dangerous or concerning. Just something to think about. Additionally, this case uses the same lightning cable as the iPhone and has pass through charging, so it will charge your phone first. If you go with a battery pack other than Apple's, you will most likely need to charge with a micro USB cable, so something to keep in mind. In the end, as I mentioned at the start, I prefer the ease of use and ergonomics of this device over the Mophie Juicepack Air. I love the idea of never having to run out of battery during the day, no matter how much I use my phone. For me, this case was definitely worth the investment.

I let my mom take over my old battery case and found this in store and absolutely love the color. Still offers outstanding battery sustenance and moderate case protection for those truly looking to leave cords behind (or for a very short while)

I love the fact that I can use my phone all day long and still have 100% battery power on my phone when I go to bed. This battery case from apple is the best and I have used others. It is not too bulky....still fits in my pocket.

Product exceeded my expectations, especially with the seamless charging and cutover between the batteries. I also like the feel in my hand, but really wish it cost much less

This product is great. It serves as a protective case and with just a slight bump in the back I get more than 2x the normal battery coverage. No more battery anxiety for me

I bought this for vacation so I wouldn't have to carry around a portable battery while out all day (especially knowing that my battery would be used twice as fast). I normally can get a full day out of my iPhone 7 while on it all day. This gives me a full extra day so I feel like it works well. The case is comfortable and thin, which works well for my small hands. Offers the same protection as a standard case. The only complaint I have is the charge time it takes HOURS to charge the case and phone after both are dead.

My wife killed some no-brand knock-off after only 6 months, this one seems to be working great and much better fit and feel. Now if they would make them for the Plus!

I use this when I am traveling, not for daily use. It is nice to effectively double the battery of my phone and have the easy charging capabilities. No fuss, no muss.

Really like this case. With phone battery and case battery I only need to charge at night. No need for additional charging! Protects the phone very well too!!

Very pleased with the product. greatly improves battery life. I don't like the material on the case, it's slippery and can feel very bulky and awkward while holding the case, but I'm still glad I have it.

Great case - I no longer have to worry about where to charge my phone. Case feels natural, protects phone and provides needed power.

Provides excellent protection as a case, and gives you basically double the battery life of the normal phone. Highly recommend.
