This is a great mp3 player, of course it can do so much more. Never had any problems with Apple products, but a few headaches with the iTunes software. I would highly recommend this product if you are looking for a high quality mp3 player with lots of versatility and media storage.

We had a Shuffle before, but were unable to see the song playing or to skip a song. This device is extremely easy to use. I look forward to my evening ride now- I have tons of music to choose from right at my fingertips. I can take it down to my workshop and listen to MY music.

Had a 6th gen nano, and it worked great but had nowhere near enough memory for all of my music. The classic is very easy to use and has more memory than you should ever need.

This was bought as a gift for my sister, who had maxed out the storage on her iPod shuffle. She has a lot of music, and she really likes having it all together. It does not have a speaker, but it is great in the car or on a dock. The batteries hold a charge a long time.

I have had 3 generations of the Nano. The dial is much better and the capacity cannot be matched by any other mobile Apple device. You can't always stream you music when you are in remote locations.

I use it solely in my F150 and it syncs nicely with factory stereo. It fits in a spot out of the way thanks to its small size. The storage capacity is very good and even though I have my music in WAV format I have more than enough space for all of my playlists.

The slim compact design allows ability to slip in my clothes and do exercise. It has a large storage capacity for all of my favorite music and i like the way I can categorize which allows me quick and easy access to tunes. Price was okay wish ir was a little less.

A great piece of electronics. Many features, large memory capacity. So far measures up to my other two IPODS! I use it at home, work and the golf course. Versatile, easy to use. Another great Mac product.

I have had an Ipod Nano as well as an Ipod Touch. However, I like the classic for home use primarily... I have added most of my music and pics to it and just connect it to my wireless speaker and have a banging music collection... solid for home use.

I bought this to replace my 80 GB classic silver iPod, after it fell into water, and passed away. With a 160 GB, I can carry a greater portion of my library to the gym, on the road, or wherever I wander. I love my iPods. This is my third and I am hooked.

Best little device that I have ever owned, my old one rates the same only 30GB. Easy to load and great to listen to! Love the compact size, weight and holding capacity! Should never fill it up!

I was looking for something physically light and small that could hold my entire music library and all the podcasts I want. My iPad just doesn't have the capacity, but the iPod Classic does. Only big negative is it does not handle my Audible.com audiobooks as cleanly I would like. However, it does handle audiobooks with proper chapter breaks better than my iPad, so audiobooks that I assemble work great.

If you are looking for a no-frills mp3 player that will hold plenty of music and movies, then look no further. This iPod is built like a tank and will hold up to almost anything. I highly recommend getting a case for it to protect it and the screen.

i love the 160 gb of memory. I have only owned one other mp3 player before this and it was also an ipod classic. The only reason i had to buy another is because the battery in my old one would no longer hold a charge. Thought i could replace the battery myself and failed miserbly. Would have given it a 5star rating if apple would just make it possible to replace the battery yourself when needed!

Same old ipod! Works as well as they always have. It would be nice if the store had cases for these in stock, but it seems the ipod classic is going out of style. If you need a device to load up hoards of songs, this is the one for you!.

I bought my first Ipod several years ago and due to the fact that it was only 80gig, so I filled it up, I decided to buy a newer one so that I can have all of my music in one place.

This is my first MP3 it was easy for me to learn most of it's features and to set it up for use. I love the storage capacity on it and don't anticipate using it all any time soon. It has excellent sound quality and a lot of good features.

These kids and their crazy cloud music probably don't remember the good ol days of I-pod scrolling and rolling. Much love I-pod classic, you were one classy chassis.

Anything I said that sounds negative about this is not a complaint, you really won't find any better way to organize,store,and play your music collection specialy if you get a Bose Dock to play it on when not using ear phones!!!!!
