Bought this as a replacement for my fifth generation nano and would rather use the older nano. The fifth generation had a lock switch that would keep the song or radio station from changing while in your pocket, which this one doesn't have. Also with the bigger screen means more likely to shatter which mine did after dropping it.

I bought this iPod for myself for Christmas and it has been a great purchase. It is light weight and easy to carry around, I also love that it has a radio on it that you can listen to along with your iTunes songs. Not long after purchasing I took it on a family vacation to Orlando with me and loved being able to take my music along with me and store it easily in my pocket. Great iPod and great sound.

I love this 7th gen because of the compact size and how easy it is to use. the touch screen on this gen, and the previous gen, make it much more user friendly than the older ones. The battery life is great, and the radio feature is nice for a change from the same songs on the device over and over.

this ipod is easy to set up, holds alot of music, purchased on sale for a good price, it has nice touch screen features, nice size only bad thing is that you cannot delete songs from playlists from the ipod itself have to go on computer to do it otherwise a great product.

I love this product. Easy to use, access to radio, screen just big enough to be able to watch movies/tv shows on it but it's small enough to where you feel like you're not hauling it around with you. Has plenty of memory and headphones sound great.

I bought this to replace my old click-wheel iPod that had decreasing battery life. This nano has half the storage, but is much smaller in size. The 16 GB is more than I need because I haven't loaded all of my photos. This does hold all 2,780 songs and 1,800 photos with 2 GB left. The touch screen has great clarity and is responsive. The addition of FM radio is also nice. The reason I deducted one star is due to Apple removing the dock connector port. This has Bluetooth, but older devices (treadmills, clocks) won't be compatible. The cord is also now Lightning instead of the older, wider connector. That requires me to keep an additional cord laying around for my older nano that I also use.

Much better choice for podcasts than the shuffle. Yes, I'm old school and still like to download the podcasts so I don't waste a data plan while running. This allows me to select what I choose to listen to and in chronological order the archived podcasts. Its also big enough to hold my music library so I can listen at work all day without eating up my phone battery. I love its size, but wish it had a clip like the previous nano version.

I am absolutely very happy with this purchase. The last ipod nano I purchased was the 2nd genereation... so it was finally time to get a new one. I already have a smart phone, so didn't need all those extra fancy features, just needed a simple ipod that can hold enough music, and small enough to go running with. Plus it has FM Radio and you can track your walk/runs. I would definitely recommend buying this ipod, you won't be let down.

The touch screen navigation is much better than the click-wheel of previous generation iPods. It is much easier to find/select a single song in your A-Z list than ever before. I also really like the radio function for when I want a break from my own music. The battery life is good, but I've noticed that listening to radio uses power faster than playing music. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this iPod. You won't need to go for an iPod Touch if 16 GB is enough space for your music, as it was for me with this Nano.

I bought this Ipod for use at the gym. I was able to put music on it fairly easily. It has awesome sound quality and is easy to use. Touch screen is a really nice feature. I did buy the armband (Belkin - EaseFit Plus Armband for 7th-Generation Apple® iPod® nano - Blacktop) so I could strap it to my arm while working out. Nice fit and comfortable to wear however it didn't do the greatest job keeping my Ipod dry. Ipod though is outstanding.

The Ipod is a music machine on steroids! It holds gigabits of music which is easily accessible anytime, anywhere. It holds a charge for hours and does not take forever to start up. Plus, you can easily download new songs and delete old ones. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an easily portable, quality music machine. Thanks.

What is not to love. This was a gift for my wife to replace her much older iPod 2nd generation 30GB. This is very user friendly, and I downloaded her playlists with a lot of space to spare. It is really, really small, and she is able to use it a the gym with ease. Plus, the old iPod was hard drive based, and was susceptible to movement. No skipping on a flash based memory. Nothing but good things to say about this new iPod Nano.

7th Gen iPod Nano...so far so good!

Still doesn't stack up to my 2nd generation iPod Nano. I absolutely loved the click-wheel control that all iPods had back in the day. That Nano lasted me about 7/8 years until I put it through the washing machine. As an avid runner, I wore it on my arm alot. When switching/skipping songs, I never had to physically look at it, as I do with the last two versions (6th, 7th) digital (multi-touch display) controls. It's not a deal breaker, just not quite as good as the old ones...wish they still made the click-wheel for activity people! Oh, and my 6th generation iPod nano crapped out in less than one year, so perhaps a durability issue. The 7th generation iPod Nano is very lightweight and small profile, which I like. It's a little bigger than the 6th generation, which was just too small and was a pain in the butt to switch songs while I was running. The 7th generation has many nice features, such as FM receiver built-in, Bluetooth 4.0 and the Nike+ Fitness with built-in pedometer. Some of the other features are kinda pointless on such a small 2.5 screen, like video, podcasting and photos. I feel the menus are easy to use and navigate and the sound quality is quite good. The available colors as always for your iPod Nano are cool? I can't speak to its longevity or durability yet as I've only owned it for two months.

It's bigger, easy to use. Has features that I don't really need. I don't need pictures and videos. I just want something I can listen to music with while I'm at the gym and running. I miss some of the features the 6 had. Being able to skip songs while the face part was off and being able to rotate the face icons depending how I had it clipped.

This ipod size was perfect for me, the next size would have been too big and the shuffle to small. This is perfect for working out or just leaving in the car to listen through the aux system. Battery lasts forever!!!! And sounds is great. Amazing price, little good looking device. Very happy with my purchase! Touchscreen not very sensitive though, prefer to handle it from the driving wheel keyboard!

This iPod is awesome. It can fit in your pocket and is lightweight, not bulky. Can hold about 4000 songs +/- depending on song length. Plus you can access radio feature for various stations. May be lacking some options of the larger iPods, but a lot of the apps they have are already on cellphones anyways.
