This tiny iPod is unnoticeable when chipped to my shorts. It's like I'm wearing nothing at all. Sound and battery are great as well.

the smallness is great as I exercise which is why I bought it. I like to listen to books and it is working well for that.

Great For Work Outs. Ease Of Use. Great Price and Enough Storage Capacity.

It's an iPod, so there's not much to discover in Apple's cheapest model. It's small and lightweight. I've logged about 6-7 hours on the first charge over the last week or so. Seems OK so far, the light is still green which I guess means >25% life left. It serves its purpose - run music continuously without noticing the device while I work out. Per typical iPod the headphones are junk. For a simple device without frills it's a little pricey but after 10 years on iTunes I wasn't about to go through the hassle of dealing with a device that doesn't interface seamlessly to save $20.

I bought the shuffle as a Christmas gift for my nieces and nephew that range in age from 5-11. None of them currently have an ipod or mp3 player. This was basic and easy for all of them to use/setup. They have not set them down sicne they unwrapped them. Definitely a good start to see how they handle this type of an electronic before spendign tons of money on a fancy one.

I bought this iPod Shuffle to use while walking on the beach. It's small size, light weight and built in clip make it perfect for walking in my bikini.

This is my second shuffle after my last one went through the wash when leaving it in a pocket after a run, never had any complaints, it stores over 100 songs, clips onto waist line or pocket and is light weight. Downside is you can't see the song order or sort music into playlist's, but that is what an iPod nano or touch is for.

Small, compact, great quality. Without a doubt a workout need!!!

If you're looking for a no-frills music player for your work outs it doesn't get more convenient than this. The sound is fine an it's durable which was a big concern for me when deciding on what music player to buy. The one thing apple could improve on is adding more space to this. Still 2 gigs should be enough if you're using this just to work out
