I already have an ipod classic 160gb, and it is full. So, I needed to get another ipod to start filling up. So, I purchased this one on sale. Being my first ipod touch, I was not totally sure how I would like this, since I was so used to the classic platform. Wow! Talk about some nice features! Very easy to access the things you want, when you want them fast. No scrolling through a plethora of music files just to get to the one you want! Although, I was really hoping Apple have would released a higher gb than the 126gb. Well, maybe one of these days, right Apple? Other than that, I love this ipod!

I am an old Zune user but my new Ford won't recognize it. So after waiting a year, I got my first iPod, just to have my tunes on the road. I am very disappointed in the iTunes software, which allows duplicate songs to be stored on the same album & requires you to manually delete them, & cannot find the album covers for many of the CD's loaded on my PC. (The Zune software had 99% of them.) AND the worst thing - some songs loaded onto tthe iPod are "greyed out" & the iPod won't play them. And no one seems to know why, OR the fix! Ugh! More research & work to do just to try to get my iPod in the same shape my Zune was. I am shocked that iTunes is not bug-free! Come on Apple! WTF!

I've owned 3 IPODS in the past and this was a big upgrade for me. I am very happy with the device and am happy with Apple Music. I bought the big storage because I have an extensive music library and am partnering with Apple Music to add to my music collection. The device is small enough to fit in your pocket and has many features that I like using. I bought a wallet type case for the IPOD and it's snug as a bug in a rug. I set it to Wifi sync so when I add music to ITUNES it automatically syncs to the IPOD.

My old IPod Classic battery wasn’t lasting very long so I decided it was time to buy a new IPod while they still exist. The only one they make now is the IPod Touch so that’s what I bought. On the plus side, the IPod Touch is small, has plenty of storage for the large amount of music I own, and it’s easy to manually add music from ITunes (I hate synching). On the negative side, the sound (of all things) isn’t that great, the battery dies faster than my IPod Classic, and there are a ton of other phone like features that I don’t need on an IPod. Overall I like it, but don’t love it. It’s far inferior to the Ipod Classic, but costs roughly the same. Since Apple doesn’t care about IPods anymore, this is the best you can do.

I stepped up from an ipod touch 4th generation from late 2012 to the current 6th generation ipod touch from 3/2017. My previous ipod had 32 gb of storage an A4 processor, a 3.5" screen and 720p movie recording capability. My new ipod touch which was bought as a Best Buy Deal of the Day had a list price of $400.00, but, I got it with a discount $35.00 and free shipping to my home. Any time Best Buy is selling it for less than $400.00, it is a bargain. This new ipod I bought has 128 gb of storage, an A8 processor, a 4" screen, 1080p movie recording capability, and SIRI. I needed this new ipod because my music library has grown a lot and I wanted to be able to take more music with me wherever I go. I also wanted to be able to upgrade to ios 10 since my old ipod is only upgradeable to ios 6. Why even own an ipod touch? Well if you want the functionality of an iphone, but want to still use you existing cell phone which may not be an iphone that is one reason. For another reason, if you own an iphone, but do not want to run down the iphone battery playing mp3 music files all day, then an ipod touch comes in handy, you can play mp3 music all day on the ipod while not running down the battery of your iphone. Keep in mind the ipod touch can do pretty much everything an iphone can do so long as you are within the range of your home's wi-fi. So, if you want to see what an iphone can do on a trial basis without actually owning an iphone, then an ipod touch is a good first step, even a model that has a smaller storage capacity.

Love it, it sounds wonderful and very easy to carry. I use mine mainly for music but will try the camera soon. For me it's a lot like a iPhone without the phone.

Another great product by Apple. I use it to listen to music, podcast, audio books and watch shows/movies from Netflix and Amazon. And with 128g I have plenty of room.

I listen to the same podcasts over and over again and this allows me to keep them all downloaded and not have to delete for space. Only downfall - glitch in Apple software doesn't allow some of my podcasts to be downloaded from ITunes.

I love this thing. My iPod classic died on me could no longer be updated & I turned to this one & the best decision ever. I can connect this to wifi, download music, even connect this to my computer & upload music, & I can treat this like a iPhone if I wanted but I'm fine with having this for just music. Plenty of space for all of my music & I can bluetooth this to my car radio or my soundbar. Love it!!!

While I still miss the iPod Classic and huge storage capacity, it is nice to be able to have your whole music library on a single device. 128g is very respectable, and basically replaces the phone while at home for everything other than actual calls.
