This is a replacement for a seven year old MacBook Pro. Just enough power and size for my needs. Very thin and light perfect for travel. The gold is more of a pinkish hue or rose gold so just purchased a wrap that made it look and feel much better. Just need to install Microsoft office. One disadvantage is that it only has usb c port so you need to purchase an adapter no big deal. Also had no issues with the keyboard As of last week this particular model is discontinued. Happy with the discount $500 off which I never seen before with Apple.

I just received my new MacBook 12” today! It is just what I was expecting. The color is the new apple gold color so it has that pretty rose gold hue. (Don’t trust the color in any pictures because when you take a picture of it it turns the laptop into a weird gold color- way different than the actual color) I got mine during the BestBuy sale days as an Open Box - Excellent condition for only $800 total! Originally, before apple discontinued the 12” MacBook a month ago they were $1300. That’s a steal of a deal if you ask me. It’s light weight and will be great for college. I know everyone said that they didn’t love how it only has one USB port but I just plan on getting an adaptor to solve that. I am an apple user all out and would recommend this product to anyone.

This Gold Macbook 12" is amazing! I love it! its small, compact, carries 256GB, and fits in my smallest bags! So lightweight, perfect for me going back and forth in classes at University. Ordered on 11:30 pm April 23rd, received it at 2:30 pm April 25th! along with the USB-C adapter I ordered with it! They said estimated delivery was May 1st but so glad it arrived sooner! I was at school when it was supposed to be delivered and they kept saying a signature would be required and I was scared they would have to take it back and I would have to wait for it to be delivered again but they left it right there on my doorway! Got it Open-box Excellent Certified! Professionally cleaned and certified by Geek Squad! came in the box meant for the Pink MacBook but was wrapped up along with the charger like new! Saved ~ $400 dollars! in comparison with the apple website asking price. They usually have the Student sale in August & September where the laptop would come with beats but with these savings, I could just use the money I saved to buy them separately if I wanted to! Thinking about using it to buy some Airpods instead! Overall, great product, service, delivery, setup, and laptop! Got the free 1-year apple warranty and came with 6-month virus protection! This is my first Apple Laptop, my last one was a Lenovo Flex 4, good touch screen laptop but a tad big at around 14" and the look of this screen and software is much more crisp and clear! LOVE IT!- Thanks to mom for the early birthday gift!

This is my first macbook and I love it. The price was just right and within close proximity to windows laptops. It runs great and really does keep a charge for days. It's lighter than my ipad and I like that. You will have to get a case on Amazon because I've found that BestBuy doesn't carry one for the 12 inch. I'm VERY happy with my purchase. One thing I will say, the gold color is more of a rose gold to me than a true gold but I am happy with that.

This MacBook is a solid performer in a sleek looking small package. Bought this as a portable addition for my wife's in home and travel use. It is extremely thin and light and the gold finish is exceptionally good looking. Performance is outstanding, with the ease and efficiency of the OSX operating system. Great value, great purchase!

I bought this laptop to use as my everyday at home computer. I’ve never had a MacBook, I’m used to working with Windows for work, but it’s been easy to learn and the size and weight are perfect for bringing it around. I absolutely love it and would definitely recommend to a friend! The only con is you need to buy a port to be able to plug your phone into or any usb product i recommend buying them together.

Bestbuy had a great price on this laptop. I know it’s only the mobile processor but it’s so nice and lightweight. My daughter uses it for school and watching Netflix and loves it. My only complaint would be the only one usb C port. Make sure you buy the adapter or a hub if you plan to plug anything into the laptop. Oh, and battery life is amazing but that’s to be expected on a MacBook,

I chose the 12" Macbook because the weight savings was more important to me than the faster processors of the Air or Pro. The m3 has plenty of power for multitasking and the battery life is regularly longer than advertised.

I am not an extreme techy, so I would not be able to go into significant details about the technology of this version of the Macbook. However, I did purchase this as an upgrade from my 2012 Macbook Air. With the numerous updates Apple is pushing out, I can see the difference in productivity and speed. Everything works exceptionally well and at a faster rate. Also, the size is perfect as it makes traveling easier.

The MacBook is great for everyday use, email / internet, Microsoft office, etc., nothing heavy duty. Long battery life, and very light weight. The MacBook would be perfect if it has 2 USB ports instead of 1 (especially if you are using the only port for charging), and a 720P FaceTime camera instead of just 480P.

I wanted a MacBook for my grad school classes and this is perfect! Super lightweight, tiny and fast. I have been using it daily for online classes and I love it. It is very small so if you like a bigger laptop size then this will seem way too small. I also managed to get it on sale too!
