This is the first time I will be using an Apple computer. And I am amazed at the beautiful and sleek look of the product. I also love the Touch Bar. Definitely a good buy.

The Retina display is absolutely stunning and easy on the eyes. Light, sleek design. Easy to connect all your devices and perfect for on the go use, as I bought it for college.

I bought this MacBook Pro because I am working on my MBA and I wanted a new MacBook Pro with great battery life and excellent quality fit and finish. I appreciate the fine things in life, and along with my other Apple products I was not disappointed. I am very happy with this laptop. The MUHR2LL/A is among the final MacBook Pro models to support a downgrade from 10.15 Catalina to 10.14 Mojave (Catalina doesn't support 32-bit or legacy applications). I purchased this on 8/2 for only about $1100 with the student deal and this model is now sold out at most Best Buy locations.

I was in NYC visiting my daughter in February, when there were distant news stories of the pandemic. I purchased this MacBook because her old one was having issues, and she needed one for work - long story short, Apple covered her issue, and I finally had a new MacBook (I always received the hand me downs.). It is a really good thing, because with the shut down, (my district shut down for in person teaching 24 days later) this teacher was typing, recording, editing, taking screen shot movies, publishing... this MacBook took a punishing. I was on it most days from 7 a.m. until midnight. Wednesdays were always a push to publish, and any videos took a while to upload, as my internet at home was the most based (we have since needed to upgrade our service.). My district went with Google Classroom, and I wrote over 2,000 comments to my students. I LOVE how I can screen record, so I would create Google Slides, go through them while screen recording, and record my voice as well. I also borrowed my husband's iPad, and would airdrop to this MacBook. My only disappointment is the wear on the keyboard. I am attaching photos of the keys with the most wear. I typed a LOT, on this MacBook, but I still don't think that keys should wear the way that they did. I purchased a keyboard cover. Overall, I would definitely purchase it again. I'm super glad that I had this MacBook Pro during the initial "shut down" because it allowed me to reach and teach my students.

I purchased my MacBook Pro in 2019 and it has been an excellent investment. The build quality is exceptional, offering a sleek and sturdy design typical of Apple products. Performance-wise, it has been incredibly reliable, handling both everyday tasks and more demanding applications with ease. The Retina display is a standout feature, providing crisp and vibrant visuals. Battery life has been satisfactory, lasting through a full day of moderate use. The only downside has been the limited number of ports, which sometimes requires the use of adaptors. Overall, it's a top-notch laptop that blends performance with style.

Amazing tv features and I was able to connect my tv provider to this one so I get everything on both!

I've used the laptop for a week and I am blown away. Performance, screen, battery life, and build quality are all exceptional. If you have never owned a MacBook and you're looking to jump in, now is the perfect time at $1,199 or $1,399 with the discount. This is the best value MacBook for the performance you're getting in a long time. The lower price point for the 2017 Pro looks enticing, but I would avoid it if you can. The 2019 Pro gets a bump to a quad-core processor 8th gen from the 2017's outdated 7th gen dual-core. You also get a Touch Bar and Touch ID, something you previously had to spend $500 more to get. I know some people really don't like the keyboard or Touch Bar, and I can certainly understand why. Apple refreshed the butterfly keyboard (4th gen now) to make it more reliable and quieter. I find the typing experience to be unique but not my first choice. With 8 GB of RAM and the i5, this computer blazes through all of my everyday tasks (which honestly are nothing special). Don't let the base clock 1.4 GHz fool you -- its speed varies on the task. I strongly recommend you spend the extra $200 and bump up to the 256 GB model. 128 GB is unacceptable in 2019, and you'll be begging for storage within a year. If you have owned a Pro in the past, you know what to expect here. Switching from Windows and with an iPhone XR, the interaction between your Apple devices is seamless. There's a bit of a learning curve with macOS, but if you're a content creator or just someone who is looking for a premium laptop experience, this is the way to go. Great job Apple!

I bought the new 2019 macbook pro with touch bar. I have a windows 10 laptop with much higher specs but this mac never feels slow and weak in terms of performance as compared to it. Its a solid performer for everyday usage. you will never be disappointed in playing back any type of media, little video editing and some games and office work. solid machine. as this machine as only two 2 usb c ports, i bought a usb c hub to plug external monitor or normal usb drives, but hardly used it. It has got usb c charging so it can be charged with compatible charges and even power banks, perfect machine for those long drives and vacations. easily gives me 8+hrs of backup on battery in normal office products and working for office. Tight integration between apple products is another positive. my previous 2011 mac air is still functioning like new, and hope to get few good years with this powerhouse as well.

This MacBook Pro Intel i5 with 8GB Memory easily keeps up with me and my many browser windows and office-related apps, video messaging -- all opened at once. The Touch Bar feature make it easy to login. Battery seems to last for hours and to charge quickly. And it does not get very hot as some laptops do. It is a great size and I do not miss a larger screen size display, which would have cost more. Plus, it is easy to carry around.

I bought the 13” MacBook Pro to replace a 9 year old MacBook Pro that was beginning to show its age. The new MacBook Pro is so much smaller, thinner, and lighter than my previous one. I love the Touch Bar which my previous computer did not have. The computer works flawlessly with my other Apple product as expected. The computer is fast, fun to use and is worth every penny that I paid for it.

Previously owned a Mid 2012 Mac Book Pro and wanted to upgrade. This new machine is definitely a step up when it comes to performance. But as for not having extra ports is where I had an issue with. I did purchase a dongle through amazon at a decent price but it works for what I need it for. The screen is amazing, which is to be expected for MacBook Pros. And another big improvement is the sound quality. The sound is awesome compared to my old 2012. Now as for the Keyboard. I've been reading back and forth positive and negative reviews, but as of now, I've had no issues. It is a bit loud as I type, but I've gotten used to it. The Touch Bar is also a not so bad feature. I do use it quite a bit when I type as spell check words pop up on it. Still getting used to it. In the end, this is a nice upgrade from my 2012. The price can be pretty expensive, but they do last a few years and end up getting your money worth. The recent sale Best Buy had also helped as it was off $250. Definitely a purchase I won't regret.

I'm rating this new MacBook Pro Good instead of Excellent for 2 reasons: 1-the fan motor runs sooner, more often and for longer than my previous MacBook Pro model which is irritating if not downright alarming to have the fan motor come on during menial tasks and light use and 2-the limited number and types of ports available on the sides although the new Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports are awesome in speed and flexibility compared to other ports. (see details below) Regarding the 2 issues above: 1-Fan motor running often. This is a solid state flash drive as opposed to a platter-type drive from the past so unsure why the fan motor runs as frequently as it does unless this is a byproduct of flash drive technology. Again, why is the fan motor running so often? It's a concern because if begs the question, is my specific laptop defective? Is a frequently running fan motor something normal that I'll have to live with going forward? How do I diagnose this issue? 2-Ports available. We mistakenly ordered the model with only 2 Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) ports instead of the maximum 4 ports available with 2 on left and 2 on right. These 2 ports on the left side are the only ports available on the left side and there is only one lone audio port on the right side. As I read more on my two (2) lone Thunderbolt 3 ports available, I'm actually relieved and excited to have the Thunderbolt 3 ports for all of the following reasons (taken directly from various Apple literature:) Benefits A: Thunderbolt 3 combines ultra‑high bandwidth with the ultra‑versatility of the USB‑C industry standard to create one revved‑up universal port. It integrates data transfer, charging, and video output in a single connector, delivering up to 40Gb/s of throughput for twice the bandwidth of Thunderbolt 2. The 2019 MacBook Pro with TouchBar and 2 Thunderbolt ports is an exceptional computer. The Intel Core i5-8257U processor is not a slug by any chance. I initially thought that the quad core processor would be slow with a 1.4GHz base clock speed. After purchasing the computer, I found that the processor is very capable. Throughout the past few weeks, I have compiled videos in Final Cut Pro, edited photos, and even played Fortnite. The computer handles all of these tasks without any trouble. The only thing with Fortnite was that I had to play it on the high settings to achieve a playable frame rate. Moving onto the design, the computer is thin and very sleek. The backlit keyboard is very convenient when typing in low-lit spaces. The computer does tend to become hot on the bottom when doing intensive tasks.

I finally decide to purchase this apple product. This MacBook Pro has the right size, it’s lightweight; and overall: it is very easy to use. Has excellent graphics and definition! And I just love the touch bar and touch ID are just the best!

I bought this MacBook as a portable companion to my 27" iMac. I have to say, I am really blown away by the performance of this device. I love the large trackpad and gesture support. The keyboard travel is a little low for my liking, but I can live with it. Surprisingly, I have found the Touch Bar very useful (I really thought it would be more of a gimmick rather than a useful feature). I have also been impressed with the sound this thing puts out - impressive for a laptop. I also love how this device works so seamlessly with all of my other apple devices - I can literally start working on something on my laptop and then pick right back up on my iMac if needed. Battery life has been good; not great, but certainly more than adequate. Overall, definitely an excellent laptop.
