Negligible weight, beautiful functionality, and great protection! The trackpad is responsive and accurate, and responds very well to multi touch gestures. The keyboard is nicely lit, and seems to be linked to the ambient light sensor, so it doesnt stay lit all the time. Keys are soft yet tactile and make it almost like using your laptop. Personally i like that that they included a charging port on the left of the case to charge your ipad while youre working, or you can plug directly into the ipad on the right, whichever is more convenient. If there HAD to be a gripe here, and seriously this is tiny… the screen angle could be adjustable by just a few more degrees. Id HIGHLY recommend this to anyone with an ipad!

I have had several iPad Pro 12.9’s over the years and have always found someway or another to find a somewhat useable stand or clamshell. When Apple released the Magic Keyboard, I was super curious if it really lived up to all of the hype, Well it does, and more.
If you have ever had an iPad in your lap, you find out fast how clumsy and awkward it is. Typing with one hand while holding it with another is not my idea of ease of use. I am not very keen on dictating as I still have to go back and fix all of the mistakes using the on screen keyboard or the one on the stand. By the way, the folding Apple iPad stand just falls over in your lap and is useless unless it is on a table.
Enter the Magic Keyboard, It makes the iPad Pro 12.9 feel and act like a laptop. It sits comfortably in my lap without falling over. The backlit keyboard is fantastic. The tactile feel of the keys is perfect for those of you who prefer a keyboard. The adjustable viewing angle is great. Never seen before from Apple. The ease of removing the iPad Pro from the Magic Keyboard is as easy as it can get. Just pull it off. The magnets still have a very strong hold when eh the iPad is in place. It just snaps right into the Magic Keybaord. The trackpad, oh the trackpad. I love it. Makes me feel at home. The look is typical Apple. It just looks right. It feels just right, and it protects my iPad all at the same time. Did I forget anything. Oh yes! It has a USB-C port on the back hinge to the left for plugging in the charger and keeping the cable out of the way.
Is there anything else, sure, but you have read enough and probably want to go, SO, here is my recommendation, GET ONE! I give it 5 stars.

I am absolutely in love with the Apple 12.9 Magic Keyboard! As an avid iPad Pro user, this keyboard has truly transformed my productivity and overall experience. The sleek design seamlessly complements the iPad Pro's aesthetics, creating a cohesive and professional look. The typing experience is incredibly comfortable and responsive, making long typing sessions a breeze. The built-in trackpad adds a new level of functionality, allowing for precise cursor control and seamless navigation.
But what truly sets this keyboard apart is its versatility. Whether I'm typing up documents, editing photos, or browsing the web, the Magic Keyboard effortlessly adapts to my needs. The backlit keys are a fantastic addition, providing visibility in any lighting condition.
Additionally, the floating design and adjustable viewing angles offer ergonomic comfort, allowing me to find the perfect position for extended use. The inclusion of USB-C pass-through charging is also a convenient feature, ensuring that my iPad Pro stays charged throughout the day.
Overall, the Apple 12.9 Magic Keyboard has exceeded my expectations in every way. It's a premium accessory that enhances the functionality and elegance of the iPad Pro. If you're looking to elevate your iPad Pro experience, I highly recommend investing in the Apple 12.9 Magic Keyboard. It's worth every penny!

I was definitely hesitant in purchasing this since I already have the old apple keyboard with no trackpad for my 3rd Gen iPad Pro 12.9inch, but I absolutely love the trackpad on this and i will never go back. There are plenty of times where using the touch screen is necessary, mainly games, but in pretty much every app I use on a daily basis I use the trackpad for. I love that between my Apple Pencil and this I can go weeks without a single fingerprint on my screen lol. Most apps see the trackpad cursor as if it’s a finger so it’s compatible with many even if not purposefully. The best part is having access to gestures. I haven’t owned a MacBook in a couple years but I was able to immediately remember all the classic gestures as well as find a couple new iPad specific ones. I also really love the raised screen it looks so much nicer hovering over the keyboard and does allow for any viewing angle I want similar to a laptop. My only issue is there are situations where I wish I could fold the keyboard back so I’m only holding the screen like my old keyboard, but the whole thing is ridged so instead I have to take it off of the keyboard and use it bare. In that sense it is exactly like a standard laptop feel. So if you’re an artist that uses the pencil regularly I wouldn’t recommend this since you would likely need to purchase a 2nd case for when you want to keep it flat. Worth the trade off for me tho.

The Magic Keyboard for the 12.9 iPad Pro works as expected with the iPad. Keys type very well and the track pad is very responsive. Overall the keyboard case provides adequate protection mostly for the front & back of the iPad, but not much for the sides.Negatives are the weight and the lack of function buttons for simple things like volume and keyboard backlighting brightness which is unfortate. Trackpad is small, but functional. Having the extra USB-C port for charging is very handy. Not sure why there are cutout for the cameras as I would prefer to have had the protection for the camera lenses whuile in my bag. Pricey, but worth it if you write a lot like myself. Sadly no portrait position as some apps require it to function. I have had one for my 11 inch iPad Pro for several years. Highly recommend!!!

Phenomenal! Looks really sleek (like all things Apple, of course) but I mean this *really* looks good. Love the floating screen design and pass-through charging on the side. Only complaint is that I’ve had it just over a year and it gets moderate use per week (roughly 6-12hrs of use per week) and the space bar and several other keys that get used the most have ugly wear marks. What’s more frustrating is the shift and down-arrow key wear marks. I don’t use my keyboard with grubby, greasy fingers. However, the Shift and down-arrow keys have a weird wear mark that don’t look like ‘patina’ or wear marks. They look like greasy fingerprints. They’re not dirty and I can’t get them off no matter what I try, so I guess they’re just super weirdly detailed wear marks?… Not a huge issue as it doesn’t affect the functionality BUT for it’s price, I’d expect Apple to put some sort of protective coating on the keys…But— flawless design, does what it’s supposed to, and it has survived a few (heart-stopping) falls with no damage to the case or the iPad so I guess the wear marks are forgiveable.

I have seen the Apple keyboard about two years ago on this particular day. I was just searching for something to convert my iPad into a mini laptop computer for travel. Once I started reading the reviews on the keyboard . I made the big decision to buy. although this keyboard is expensive it does a lot it is very much so in sync with the iPad the moment, the magnetic back of this keyboard is in sync with the iPad you can begin typing. You don’t need to add a mouse if you don’t want to, but you can the palm pad on this keyboard works excellent with the Apple iPad. I definitely recommend as I chose the color white . The keyboard once attached to the iPad can be used as a laptop computer.. However, once you’re carrying around the iPad with the keyboard, it is a little heavy and I would recommend a sturdy bag. I hope that the image images that I have uploaded would help you make an excellent decision to buy and I definitely recommend. Do you wanna invest in this keyboard not regret it is absolutely an investment piece.

Quite possibly the best accessory you can buy/own for iPad. You will notice increased functionality immediately. It connects and works instantly. While it is a bit pricey and, physically, a little weighty, its worth it.

I purchased this as an open box. I like the track pad on the keyboard. The keyboard lights up when you use it. No charging or setup with the keyboard. Put the iPad on it and your ready to go. The white kind of grow on me and I am glad I go it. It is easy to clean. You can take the iPad off and use it without the keyboard pretty easily. Putting the iPad on the keyboard is pretty easy. It is pricey, but with it in my opinion.

Having used the Apple iPad Magic Keyboard for a while now, I can say it's truly transformed my iPad experience. The keyboard offers a sleek and responsive typing experience, with well-spaced keys and perfect tactile feedback. The trackpad is a game-changer, bringing laptop-like functionality to the iPad. The build quality is exceptional, with a sturdy yet lightweight design that makes it easy to carry around. The adjustable hinge allows for flexible viewing angles, making it perfect for both work and leisure. It's a premium accessory, but it's worth every penny for the productivity boost and seamless integration with the iPad. Highly recommend!

Keyboard Doesn't Work With iPad Protective Case

The keyboard works great and is seamless in its interface. However, be aware that if you plan to put the iPad into a protective case, the keyboard won't work. I use this iPad on a construction site, so I have a protective case (pictured) with shoulder strap. If I want to use the keyboard, I have to remove the iPad from the protective case. This is a hassle, so I probably won't do that. I have just put the keyboard in my laptop carrying bag just in case I get to a job site and need it. Had I realized this, I probably would not have purchased the keyboard.

The Magic Keyboard is by far one of the best options if you wannt a keyboard for your ipad.
The Build on it is really solid, you will be able to tell by the weight of the keyboard by itself, good quality in the keys and keyboard layout nothing exceptional.
One thing to keep in mind is the fact that you will not give the ipad to your kids with this case, all the sides are exposed and depending of how it get use It might fall of the keyboard and brake.
The tilt positions are good but it feels like the keyboard is goingr to brake at some point for wear and tear.
The price that you will pay at $349 fpr tax, there's no way to justify it other than I just want it, honestly this is not worth $349, just consider that fact that your apple pen will be expouse in the out hold just for the magnets soon to be lost.
would I recomended it, not unless you really really need itt or have nothing better to buy with you $349 dollars.

I love it! For my first iPad Pro, I decided to try a Magic Keyboard. Typically the black keyboard is paired with the Space Gray model, but I decided to try the white keyboard. It looks great!
It's kept perfectly clean and I think the white finish may show less wear than the black model.
Typing is FANTASTIC. I use a mechanical keyboard at my PC/Mac mini setup and this is the complete opposite. Honestly, it's my favorite typing experience! I have the fewest errors and the fastest typing speed on the minimal keys, which are still full-size in terms of surface area.
I keep my iPad docked 99% of the time. I have been trying to take my iPad out more! Unless I'm sitting on the couch watching Netflix, or maybe writing some notes (trying to do that more), the keyboard is the best place to keep it for viewing and regular usage, because, yeah, there's a keyboard.
The screen is AMAZING. It really is as good as they say on the 13" models. I have an LG OLED and a Sony X900H TV to compare this too. I like all of them for different reasons. This is the best personal viewing experience. I have skipped screen protectors to keep it optimal for HDR and all that, instead opting for AppleCare protection.
The only problem I've experienced is that sometimes the trackpad fails to wake the iPad. There are also situations where I need to touch the screen to interact and while the trackpad is moving the cursor, it isn't letting me click on something. This seems to be a problem with specific interactions and isn't any kind of dealbreaker.

Was initially going to order one of the much less expensive models available on line, but, I like to read the negative reviews and they all were pretty consistent. The magnets weren’t strong enough. I decided not to waste my time on those and got the Apple keyboard instead. The feel of the keys is a huge upgrade over what I had used on my older IPad, and to my delight, it charges the keyboard and the IPad, with a single cord. Very pleased, even if it was quite a bit more expensive.

My wife bought me the 2021 iPad Pro M1. I was looking for a keyboard case, I tried Logitech, & Brydge keyboards but ain’t nothing compares to the magic keyboard case. The look, the feel, the way it’s made iPad can’t be without the keyboard by its side. They it’s missing some keys but what the point of having an iPad if you don’t want to touch the screen. Due to my work environment I’ve added a cover to keep the beautiful white new. It’s a def must purchase!

Great purchase. Still amazed that Apple made it possible to use an iPad almost like a laptop, only thing is I can remove the iPad from the keyboard! This is. Great for any content creator, drawing artist, or gamer; Tekken on my 4K device on the go is awesome!!!!!
