I ordered a new Smart Cover for $54 and received a used one that was dirty and even had a crease on the magnetic part where it was obvious that it had been used. Also the color flamingo is not even close to what it looks like in the picture. Plus it’s pretty useless to actually protect the iPad from accidentally drops or bumps. Very disappointed. Will never buy one of these things again.

Light, provides great protection, easy to use. Love that it’s a stand too.

I didn't want to spend a bunch of money (again) on a keyboard that is usable for only one model of tablet, so I decided to get the smart cover instead and combine it with a third party, bluetooth keyboard. It was an excellent decision, as the cover provides protection and a stand, while the keyboard can be used with multiple devices.

I've purchased several covers for my iPad 10.5" pro and I always end up coming back to this one. There is a caveat and a reason I gave this 4 stars - it doesn't cover the back, which I don't like. So I got a clear cover for the back that works with the smart cover features to fix this issue. In the end though, it's a durable, solid cover that just plain works. I tried other cases because they were all one piece, or ones that boasted multiple viewing angles, but in the end I always come back to this cover. Being able to remove the cover and snap it back on just as easily is so handy and something I can't live without. As usual, it's a bit pricey since it has the Apple logo on it, but because of that, you know the product is going to hold up and be high quality. In the future, I will probably just stick to buying the Apple covers, expensive as they seem, just to stop myself from spending 3 times as much testing other cases out.

I like this cover as I can use it to stand the device up on a steep slope, or if flipped I can do it on a shallower slope. The only downside is there isn't a way to do portrait mode.

A much needed accessory for my iPad that adds protection and also works as a stand! Well worth the price.

I always buy a Smart Cover to go with my iPads...great to turn on/off and protects the front from damage.

You need this at a min to protect the Screen and make it a stand

I debated on this cover as i use a designer sleeve to carry my ipad daily. I literally could not be happier, its thin enough to not hinder the sleeve but protects and starts and stops the screen when opened and closed. The magnetic connection makes it a "snap"!!

This cover is very useful to protect your Ipad screen; however, it only covers one side. The back side is not covered. It does fold into a stand which is also useful

Color is great, magnet is strong. This is my first Smart Cover (have a smart case on my mini) and I paired it with a clear backing so that I can see the full color of my rose gold iPad. Looks awesome and this color works great with it.

Received a new 10.5" iPad for business travel. This cover maintains the sleek profile of the iPad while providing screen scratch protection. I rarely use it in the folded configuration, but it's good for watching Netfix.

when you open the cover it turns on the iPad automatically and turns off when closed. The material is very soft and no fingerprints. It does not protect the bottom from scratches but covers the screen nicely. a bit expensive.

Typical Apple, this was overly expensive. But for what I was looking for (something just to cover the front screen, something that could also fold back and prop up the iPad), this worked perfectly.

Got this for my daughter and she loves it! Easy to use yesterday protects great! Love the stand!
