I have waited awhile to write a review about this watch. I did preorder it so I’ve had a couple months with it. Now I’m not a scuba diver, I don’t climb mountains, I don’t do orienteering. I just like Apple products and I like to keep a product for a few years. My last Apple Watch was an Apple 3 GPS and to this day it still works. It’s got some major screen burn in but it works fine - except for the battery…. Now I am a large human being…6’6 - 300lbs. I have large wrists and all other Apple Watches have looked dainty on me. Not this bad boy - it isn’t oversized but I could see it being much too large for a female or someone with small hands. The included dive strap goes to the last hole while still being comfortable, 2nd from last is too tight - BUT the strap is stretchy to a point where it has some give. The battery life was the biggest seller for me. I can’t stand that my previous watch required charging every single day. When I first got the Ultra I tried to see how long I could go without charging. I had it 100% on Thursday evening and didn’t charge it until Monday night… this is prior to the update that allows you to have less frequent readings of your heart rate and blood 02 level…now on low battery mode without always on display, I can probably go 6 days without charging. Another awesome feature that I’m hesitant to jinx myself over is the durability of the case / screen. I always would buy the silicone bands that the watch goes into for full 360 protection. I have bumped this thing on many door frames, the trunk of my car, end tables, the dishwasher you name it. Not a mark to be found….not even a slight hairline scratch that you get after having your iPhone for awhile. Spotless…I have gotten many comments on it while being out to dinner and around family and friends. Nothing worse than buying the latest Apple product and nobody notices lol…only gripe is the orange. It makes the watch case stand out a little more and sets it apart from other watches at a distance but to me I would have rather had a black button but who cares. It charges very quickly also, I can’t believe how little time it takes to charge up. Gone are the days of waiting forever to get your watch over 50% to update it!

Excellent product and lives up to its high asking price. Between it’s almost indestructible durability, bigger screen, better battery life and additional functionality it delivers on a better overall Apple Watch experience. Whether that large bump in price for the best experience is worth it or not is subjective I personally believe it is and am not disappointed in what I get for the extra money.

I love this watch. It does so much. I’m coming to this watch from an iWatch 3 without cellular. Before buying the ultra I was afraid it might be too big as I have a small wrist. I debated for several months then finally got to see the ultra in person that a friend of mine had just bought. I bought mine with the next 2 weeks. I got the midnight ocean band and it actually fits better than my iWatch 3 with the Nike band. The ultra is also really lighter than I thought it would be. Set up was a breeze and all my info from my 3 transferred with no problems. I set it up myself. I love the bigger and brighter screen. I can see everything better and it is really not too big. Love the new watch faces and the new orange side button. The battery has lasted really well even with having the screen on all the time. I love that feature. I never used the sleep focus on the 3 but have been on the ultra. It is very comfortable to sleep in and it monitors so much. Overall I’m very impressed and very happy with my ultra.

Best Apple Watch I’ve had by far. Very durable, battery life is excellent. I use it for workouts, music, and it goes for days. Pricey, but worth it.

This is the best version to date. It has all the bells and whistles a smart watch needs and then some. From tracking health, to controlling media or lights around the house. You can make crystal clear calls from just the watch alone. Use it as a flashlight, which comes in handy more times than not. The GPS features are amazing to say the least. It's an awesome piece of hardware with Apple's tech inside, which flows seamlessly with all your Apple devices. The selection of watch faces, you'll more than likely have plenty of choices to choose from. Also, durability of this watch is on another level as well. I've beat this thing up and between the Titanium & Sapphire glass... There's not one ding or scratch that I can see. (After a year of use) There's a million other positives I could ramble off about this watch but I digress. This is my 5th or 6th Apple Watch over the years. I usually replace them every year because I can and the bills are paid. But, unless Apple does something extraordinary?! I'll keep this for at least a couple years, maybe longer?!?! So... Add to cart! Buy it! Thank me later...

Great watch. The best feature is the workout feature and health (heart meter and water intake). Great battery life and durability.

I upgraded from a Apple Watch Series 4 and the battery life is incredible! The screen is easier to see with my aging eyes, the features are a lot better and in my opinion this is the best watch Apple has made to date. I’m not crazy for the straps, I wish the colors had more options but that is my only issue, if you would call that an issue. But this watch for the incredible features and the awesome battery life, you won’t be disappointed.

Great overall battery, durability, and features. Brightness is as great as advertised. Takes some time to adapt to the weight and size, but not long.

After reading and watching reviews for this watch I decided that it was time to replace the Series 3 that I had smashed accidentally nearly two years ago. I really missed my Apple Watch but I didn’t like the fact that the glass was so fragile. This Watch glass and body are WAY stronger. Check out some of the videos online of people trying to destroy this watch and you’ll understand. That said, I was also a bit concerned that it would feel too big for my wrist (which isn’t that big). I tried it on in the store and still wasn’t sure so when it went on sale for Black Friday I decided to go for it, knowing that I could wear it for a week or two and have the option of returning it if I didn’t like it. Well, it’s actually a little smaller than my G-Shock and it feels just fine. I also love that my older bands fit it perfectly. Still, I picked up a couple of new third party bands that are great also. I’m getting at least three days out of a full charge including wearing it to track my sleep which I had never done before. I like how the sleep app wakes me up as well. It’s so much nicer than the alarm that I had been using on my phone.

Upgraded to the new Ultra for the extras it offers. I love the fit and feel. Have it paired to my iPhone so I didn’t get a separate number for the watch for my own personal reasons. I charge it about ever two days. I will admit that I'm still learning how to use its features, the same with my new iPhone 14pro, but I’m very pleased that I bought it. I added the screen protector just to be safe. I enjoy kayaking and with this watch I can secure my phone,id, and keys and still be able to answer calls or text while out on the water. I also like the size as it is very easy to read. Being that I’m old and disabled I like the reminders to get up and move around which has helped me feel better. I have my grown daughter my all red Iwatch that I had only had 9 months to upgrade her from the 3. I got the yellow band to be different and love the look. If you can afford it, get it. You’ll be glad you did. I’m not a go out and buy the latest and greatest, but since I needed to upgrade my iPhone I decided that the new Ultra was a great match and I don’t need to worry about either one now for a while if at all. I do recommend this Iwatch ultra and believe you will too.

I love this watch. It has so many more features. I love the longer battery life. It gives a couple of extra days . I love that i can wear it in the water and turn on the water function to blow out water. Bigger screen size , allows me to read it easily

the watch is the same performance as my apple watch7. but the larger screen and the battery life make it worth every penny. plus the hardware that is faster and more feature rich. the quick access button is very handy. and i am using all my regular straps and they all look great

Best Apple Watch so far, battery life at least 2 days. Larger screen. It’s a big watch but it’s comfortable, I got it with the blue ocean band which is nice. It is pricey but for me it was worth it.

I've had this watch a couple of months now and the battery life is amazing. Easily get two days out of it by using it regularly with multiple alarms and logging workouts daily. Everything else functions like a regular Apple Watch. I feel that the best feature is how fast it charges up. When used with a 18 or 20 watt charger it charges fast. If I'm down to 20%-30% I just pop it on the charger while I take a shower and it's back up to 80%-90% when I'm done. Using different watch bands really change the look of the watch too. It can go from sporty to formal. Some might complain about the size of the watch but to me it's perfect. I also use it as a sleep tracker and it has never bothered me.

It’s still works fine even after 2yrs.The battery is excellent.Glad I bought it from bestbuy.I made the best choice ever.

These Apple Watches are so beyond capable, for the most part you could go without your phone because it will do most things your phone can do. Ultra has great battery life and can go up to three days of no charging if not used excessively. Loudspeaker is nice and loud when receiving quick calls. Awesome little machine that I’m sure will last me for years. I’ve already used it since the beginning of the year and it is very reliable. Great buy!

This new version of Apple Watch is amazing very compatible or even better than a Garmin watch the size is perfect. The battery size Liza long time can’t be any happier with this watch.

I have owned this watch for about 2 months now. I didn’t activate the cellular service and only use it connected to my iPhone 13 Pro Max. The battery life is great, way better than my series 5 Apple Watch. I’m averaging between 4-5 full days of battery before I need to recharge it. I use a sleep tracking app to monitor my sleep every night and I’m so impressed with the battery life. The display is larger and I don’t need to wear readers to view anything on this clear and bright screen when I wear my contacts. The gps works great with my all trails app on hikes. I did but a watch band that is a all in one case & band to protect it when I work or during hiking and small scrambles on my hikes. I used the watch in a friend’s pool and the depth tracking was pretty spot on as well as the water temperature (one degree above what the thermometer said in the pool). I would definitely recommend this watch if you’re looking for something with a larger display and way longer battery life between charges. I would definitely purchase one again if I needed to. I give this watch a 4.5 rating.

I am upgrading from a 4 year old Apple Watch. Much smaller. This new Ultra is a nice size and heavier watch, it doesn’t feel like a toy. The screen is great. The flashlight is much appreciated and pretty bright in the dark. I use it for cycling and it already knows when I start my ride and if I forget to set it up it tracks my ride anyway. The speaker is louder so much nicer to talk on phone. The text options are manageable. The older watch series 5 I think was so small the screen wasn’t really usable for anything but looking at and scrolling through screens. One face has night face do it’s red I love that. I also love how easy it is to configure so only the information I need is on my watch face. The band is heavy duty and fits securely. It’s beefy and should last the life of the watch. There are plenty of features I haven’t explored yet and some I’ll never use like most tech today there’s some overkill. I looked at the Garmin Fenix 7 which is a beautiful watch. Much better battery life. The Apple Ultra lasts all day no problem it may last most of second day but that’s about it. You will need to charge it daily. The Garmin which is huge much larger watch will last a week or more without a charge. So if hiking in the back country is your thing you’ll need a solar charger but I’d get the Garmin, 100$ more but worth the look for sure! Overall I’m locked into Appleverse so it’s the watch for me. If you’re considering an upgrade from an older series go for the $$$ and get the Ultra you won’t regret it!
