As soon as you get whatever hard drive you're going to be turning into an external it's plug and play. Hardly any screws to deal with, easy to slide right in and as soon as it's closed it's ready to go.

Not too much to say about this KIT except it worked just wonderful and made my new HDD upgrade easy to accomplish. Works in Just 3 simple steps just as advertised. I could not be more pleased..

The external enclosure for a 2.5 inch hard drive is a snap to install. I had a hard drive from a fire damaged laptop. I inserted the HD into the enclosure following the included instructions and off it went. Quick, easy and effective.

Nothing else on the market comes close to this product. Someone actually took the time to think this through and actually use it. You can buy extra drives and use the cable to connect them as external drives.

Used this device to clone two different laptops from standard hard drives to SSD's and they both cloned flawlessly, even though the SSD's were considerably smaller than the original drives. Great product!

Overall, this is a good product for copying the contents of your hard drive to a new drive. Everything worked well, took some trying to get the software to work correctly. Read instructions carefully. In the end, everything went okay.

Hard to find these in stock because they are so handy. If you are doing a hard drive upgrade, this is an awesome device to make the existing drive a new external drive.

Works great. I used this device to upgrade to Windows 10 and I wanted to do a fresh install and it worked well to move the data to my new installation of windows.

Moving to a new computer was so easy - all files from old hard drive quickly and easily available to the new one. Doesn't require a lot of technical expertise.

Love this plug n play enclosure. My computer went out but i needed the stuff off of the HD. Easy setup and basically plug and play. Only wish it was a little bit firmer for stability.

This is a very easy to use back up system. I killed my laptop but the hard drive was good. I was able to connect through usb and transfer my hard drive!

Purchased 3 and they all worked flawlessly to upgrade laptop hard drives and also provide an enclosure for the removed hard drive from each system.

The enclosure is of good construction, laptop hard drives fit very well. I haven't used the software yet, so I cannot vouch for that.

It took about 8 minutes to get the entire SSD setup and functioning. Very easy. I used it initially to do a system backup, but then decided to transfer the SSD directly into the computer. The USB connectivity was fast, but installing the SSD directly made it significantly faster. I finally used the housing with a second SSD for portability. I would recommend this product, even witht eh slightly high price.

Great device. Cloned my old harddrive onto the SSD in less then an hour. Despite my laptop only using USB 2.
