This thing is so close to 5 stars! The game lineup is great, the controls are fine, and the cabinet is beautiful. The only thing preventing this fifth star is a small piece of debris stuck between the screen protector and the screen. I can’t usually see it when I’m playing games ... but I know it’s there. It’s a minor bother that I won’t be contacting support about. I could probably tear it apart and get it out, but I doubt I’ll try. If you’re thinking you might want this, you probably do. Even with the debris, this has quickly become my favorite cabinet. I hope I can find the Midway cabinet soon.

Yep. I still suck at “Commando” lol. Great cabinet. Im surprised there isn’t a wifi feature for this one, considering the Streer Fighter titles and Darkstalkers. Other then that its a nice piece for my collection.

I recently purchased the arcade one up Capcom legacy edition with several versions of streetfighter along with other classic titles like ghosts and goblins, 1944, commando and final fight. The build quality was typical of other arcade one cabinets meaning easy to assemble, beautiful decals and that classic retro vibe. I also liked how the joysticks have the octagonal movement unlike the Mortal Kombat cabinet which is limited to a square. The gaming graphics look a little more pixelated than I remember, but I would still recommend this cabinet.

Cabinet design change for the worse

Arcade1up had a very functional design up until this year's models. The marquee was redesigned to protrude further out from the bezel. By doing this anyone who is 5'11" and taller will now not be able to see the top 3 inches of the display screen. The MSVX Neo Geo cabinet had the same problem. By losing that 3 inches you can't see the health bars and timers and just makes your back hurt as you try to hunch over to play the games. Also I miss the kick panel that had which games was included on the cabinet. People who came over to play in the arcade would use those to choose which cabinet to play. Should have made the kick panel two sided with the different stickers on each side. Added a picture to kind of show what viewpoint looks like while standing at the cabinet.

This is a frustrating product to review. In one hand, it looks nice and after replacing the stock joysticks and buttons with genuine arcade components (which I planned to do from the start) it plays great. In the other hand, there was some real quality issues that were very disappointing for a product of this price. My unit had a smudge or scratches on the interior side of the plexiglass that covers the screen. Can’t see them while playing but noticeable when the machine is off. The side art was poorly trimmed and I can feel it with the palm of my hand when using the P1 stick. I trimmed it a little but it’s still noticeable. And the yellow trim had various spots where it was wavy and thicker than the rest. I was able to trim it with a blade to make it look right but I really find these issues unacceptable for a product of this size and price. Otherwise, it’s a great item to have and I enjoy it often.

Eye Catching Cab Filled With 12 Fun Games!

This is my 13th Arcade1up cabinet and I must say this is probably my "best buy" so far. The 12 games are excellent and have high replay value. I saw several youtube reviews that complained about having to place your left hand on or over the ledge of the lip of the side cabinet, making game play uncomfortable. Well I have large hands and I didn't have that problem. My hand easily fit on the deck. Love the feature where you can tweak the difficulty settings for each game. Kids of all ages as well as adults will love this cab that is filled with diverse games. Gameplay is smooth and fluid. Commando, 1944 and Ghost & Goblins are my favorite games. I like this cab over the the Arcade1up Midway Legacy cab, which is also a great buy.

For the price I got it for on sale its a good value. Decent game selection. Artwork is nice. Its a bit smaller in person than what you might expect but if you want a home arcade Id recommend Arcade1up.

I have several Arcade 1up’s. The new legacy cabinets are the worst designed cabinets they’ve made. The game selection and emulation is excellent and the look of the cabinet is beautiful but the lack of online capability and the design flaws makes this a hard pass for me. I’d wait until a better version of this cabinet is released.

It’s good. It’s not wow good. I sold my ver 1 sf2 cab to get this one. It’s definitely better in every way which is why it got 4 stars. It’s not mind blowing though and they are still charging too much for these cabinets. But.. as a sf2 super fan it was a must have. The updated cabinet style isn’t really a welcomed change however. The marque does stick out further causing you to bend more to see the screen so if you’re taller it may be an issue. I’m 6’ and it’s alright. The raised sides at the controls aren’t an issue until you play a long time. Again; it’s good just not great! Try again 1up... lol
the menu system should be redesigned like coin ops. Scrolling wheel. Little kids could use it better.

I am a true Street Fighter fan from the early 90's and the only disappointing part about this cabinet is the joysticks. The moves are difficult to execute but it is still a lot of fun. I am thinking about replacing them with pro Sanwa sticks (8-way) to see if that will help.

Great machine. But just a little tight for two people playing at the same time. Should’ve been bigger. But for 12 great games it’s worth it.

The better of the two Street fighter cabinets available. Great games, responsive controls.
