I know everyone may have their favorite cabinet based on what they played growing up but the reason why I love this Star Wars one is because you can't emulate this experience anywhere except with the original arcade cabinet. The flight yoke is accurate and feels fantastic and the quality of emulation is top notch. The system options cover just about anything you would want to modify for these games and the cabinet itself looks amazing with the light up marquee. Most of all it's just heart pounding fun, especially the original Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back. It's not cheap but that's because they listened to the consumers, upgraded the quality control, and ultimately gave the people everything they asked for. I highly recommend it.

Been wanting this for a LONG time. Finally was able to get it for a great price. Worth the wait. When I went to BB to pick it up I was a little taken aback by how damaged the box was. One of the corners was even exposed to the inside packaging. Fortunately nothing inside was damaged. But the product was still not without its flaws. There are random areas of rough finishing. The plastic protector over the flight yoke platform was a nice idea but the tape they secured it with appears to have caused a chemical reaction and left some raised wrinkle marks as the tape wasn’t completely flat when it was laid down. All of the acrylic surfaces such as the monitor were protected with the standard film but once it came time to peel it off there were more areas where I noticed blemishes. So that was kind of a letdown as I wanted it to be perfect. But they aren’t horrible - they don’t get in the way of enjoying the games. Overall it’s a really nice replica. A whole lot nicer quality than if you tried buying an original machine of course. And MUCH cheaper taking up less space in your home. If you want to do a quick and painless mod I would suggest replacing the original 3 inch speakers with some decent 4 inch car speakers before you put the cabinet together. I was able to connect them to the factory cable connection quite easily and it sounds awesome. You’ll thank me for it.

This thing is perfect. It has the exact feel of the original arcade Version. When you open it you may think it looks cheaply made, but as you assemble it becomes clear that this this is really high quality. And when you turn it on? Mind blowing!

It was delivered on time and easy to put together. The product quality is great. Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back are great games and play as I remember. Return of the Jedi game is okay.

Grew up with the Star Wars game , I would walk down the street to play this all the time . It’s great to be able to walk into the room and flip it on and go. The actual console outside graphics/wrap and the look are amazing . Game play superb . Yoke totally on point ! Only bad part was some of the pieces didn’t line up very easy but with that being said it was still very simple to put together . If your on the fence about it - just do it. You won’t regret it .

This is a step up for Arcade 1up - with an arcade-accurate controller, perfect voice synthesis, and a light-up marquee. They include a riser and it's a complete package. They also include the rarely-seen Empire Strikes Back game, which I like and the Return of the Jedi game, which I hate. Mainly, i think you get this for the original Star Wars game and the others are a bonus. But it's not a game you can easily emulate on MAME and official ports don't have the controller. For me these are a little bit of a pain to put together but I'm not that handy so take that with a grain of salt.

I own the Midway Arcade1 unit and was impressed with its quality. This Star Wars unit, however, takes it to a whole new level with the two-handed flight controller and the light-up marque. The simulated vector graphics is awesome, and the new speaker controls are much better. For the Jedi game I recommend turning off the interlace effect. My package arrived from UPS. The box was scraped up a bit but there was no damage to the interior. It took about an hour to setup. Having an additional pair of hands helps but absolutely necessary. J

Back in the 80’s when there was an arcade on every corner and in every pizza joint I went through a ton of quarters always thinking about how cool would it be to have a room at home that was an arcade. My Dad turned our basement into an excellent game room, but the closest we got to making it an arcade was an old style pin ball machine. Paying 4 grand (low end) just didn’t make sense for one game. So we hooked up an Atari or the latest home system to a huge 27 inch screen was the best we could do. Enter these Arcade 1up home arcade machines. I liked the look of the first wave a lot, but figured I would get bored playing just pac man. But wave two have been improved in many ways with lit Marques and unique machines like this Star Wars unit. Yes it’s only 3 games and the possibility of getting bored is still there, but with this unique controller and one of the most beloved trilogy’s in movie history was worth the gamble. After setting it up with the awesome artwork and now custom risers to make these a bit closer to the height of machines in the arcade. Paying 400 versus 4,000 is obviously the best part. Is you remember sitting inside and playing this unit that’s on the way in the next wave. But this feels like the arcade and is likely to pay for itself since your not plunking quarters into it. Also, other units with more typical controllers can be modified to play 100,s of games. I built one of these a couple years ago and it’s great. But to have these smaller units that you can pick up and move around are flat out made for arcade lovers. If your a COD lover not sure you’re going to get excited about playing Ms PAC Man, but I’m planning on adding 2 or 3 more to go along with my Mame version. So glad I started with this Star Wars. I hope to get their NBA jam next and then as they continue to up the quality and lower the price I’m going back in time. If you’re the nostalgic type these are perfect. Otherwise hold on for the PS5 and Xbox x, and my favorite Switch (2)!

This is an amazing LITTLE arcade machine. I emphasize little because it’s very small, thankfully it comes with the riser. It’s fairly simple to put together and because of the materials and the size it’s relatively light and easy to move around if you are putting a game room together and aren’t sure where you want it yet. (Like me) The games themselves play just like I remember them but having the flight yoke is what helps bring back the nostalgia. You can play it on an emulator but without the yoke it’s just not the same. The yoke feels nice and responsive, The original Star Wars is amazing as I remember it, I never had a chance to play Empire in the arcade as a kid but I played a ton of Return of the Jedi in the arcade as a kid. Spent tons of quarters on that machine. It’s just as awesome and difficult as I remember. Great times. I’m excited to see they’ve made a sit down model now using the riser as a bench, that’s a nice touch. Arcade1up seems to have a great team of people listening to what people want and being able to make adjustments to their machines on the fly. I prefer the stand up model since it fits better in my game room but having the option to buy the sit down version is huge. Overall, I highly recommend this cabinet if you have the money. If it was a childhood favorite you won’t regret it. Lots of great memories on this machine, now my kids can enjoy it too.

I loved playing this game at a nearby retro arcade. I never thought i would be able to purchase one myself since the real thing costs thousands of dollars and would also require a lot of electrical knowledge into fixing vector monitors. This arcade1up version of Star Wars Arcade is fantastic! It holds your save scores (unlike other arcade1up cabinets) and has many options for screen adjusters like vector glow options and scanlines for return of the jedi. The Flight yoke controller feels amazing. It's plastic but feels honestly a lot more accurate than the original controller on the real arcade machine. It's overall look and light up marquee is jaw dropping. My 5 and 2 year old sons love to play on this as well. I highly recommend this cabinet, but I must say in a recent tradeshow Arcade1up revealed a new sitdown version is coming of it. It will be the same thing but will include a chair which appears to be part of the same unit. However, they have stated it will be sold separately later if you do choose this version. I believe this version is best because it will include the riser, and the other one about to come out appears to not include it.

Thisbos the best Arcade1up machine ever made. Best design and very retro nostalgia feels. Not a bad thing to say and wasy to buld.

If you grew up playing this game in arcades like I did, you'll remember that iconic flight yoke being an integral part of the experience. The games here have popped up on other platforms and in retro compilations, but without the arcade controls, it's just not the same. This is by far the best home version of those games yet. Pricey, but worth it if you want to be as close to the true experience as possible.

This thing is great! The only complaint I have when assembling is that there are two screws that wouldn’t screw in all the way. It seems that the holes were drilled incorrectly. However, everything else is fantastic!! It looks great, feels great, sounds great, and plays great!! If you are a fan of the arcade games, this is a no brainer!!! Side note: I sure remember being a lot better at it than I am!!

Omg let me just say that my childhood is in this machine. I loved the original Star Wars so much I actually bought one years later with my dad in an auction with tons of other arcade machines. I still have it in my dad’s basement to this day, but it’s worth enough I won’t let my young kids play it. This one is even better because my kids can enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the original. If this was your childhood, you need to get one. You won’t be disappointed.

The stick/controller makes the cab worth every cent. The game play is just as hard as it was back when I was younger. This is a great addition to a Star Wars Collectors Collection. A Must Buy!

This was the first arcade game I ever played as a child. I have always wanted to own it. While this is only three-quarters the original size, it is still a great replica and I enjoy playing it. I bought it for Star Wars, but the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi are fun too. The only problem you may have is height. While it is on a riser, anyone over six feet tall may have to limit their play time. The control yoke is a bit too low as is. You will not get the full range of motion when trying to go "up" on the screen with out a stool, chair, or bending your knees a bit to "shrink" your height a bit.

Aracade 1 UP has done an outstanding job with this cabinet. I played this game in the arcade back in the early eighties and this cabinet is almost identical to the original. Even with the riser is about 8 inches shorter than the original. The flight stick is exactly the same as the original and feels the same. It was very easy to put together (about 45 minutes). The instructions were “on point” and easy to follow.

Easy to put together and the game play is just like the original!

Build quality is improved from first Gen, and the experience is just like it was when I was a kid. The light-up marquee is great, the sound is great and the image quality and controls are top-notch.

Great game one of my all time arcade favorites. They have done a great job replicating the arcade down to the control stick. Great fun for hours. Sound effects and game play spot on and it is a well built unit!
