I chose this baby camera to monitor my new grandkids. I liked that it had camera, night light, music and voice all in one. It was easy to set up and the picture is great. All the features work well. My only complaint is I thought this was wireless like the other Arlo cameras and it is but the charge only last a few hours so it really must be plugged in

My wife had spent months comparing baby monitor products including purchasing some and then having to return them due to poor performance or performance that does not match the stated specifications. We wanted true HD picture quality with temperature and humidity sensors. The air quality sensor is just an added bonus on this product. We finally settled on the Arlo baby and couldn’t be happier. This product is great once you set it up correctly. Those complaining about video delay are experiencing issues due to the out-of-the-box default configuration, which takes videos whenever an alert is triggered. The alerts begin to overlap thus causing persistent video upload to the Arlo cloud and then consuming much of your upload bandwidth and processing overhead in the monitor. If you configure the product for geofencing or alert schedules and then reduce the length of videos per alert (or change it to photo capture), there are no issues whatsoever. We are so pleased with the product that we are planning on buying another when our 2nd child is born and a set of the indoor/outdoor cameras as well.

I previously had used arlo cameras and likes the alert features for sound and motion. The Arlo baby has additional features including a "cry alert" - I think this differs from the regular audio alert based on level of audio detected since crying is typically louder than a little fussing or general sounds. The camera is completely stationary, so if you are looking for something to pan and tilt remotely, this would not be a good option. Also, unlike the other arlo cameras, the arlo baby cannot run on only battery for an extended amount of time, it is meant to be plugged in at all times which is mildly annoying when considering a location to mount it. Overall the product works well and I would definitely recommend its use.

This started out as a amazing product with great images and video quality including nighttime. The good things about this device are 2 way audio communication, light on the back as a night light, plays music, and the internal battery to take the device with you. Here is where is goes down hill. As a baby monitor you would expect this device to be great at monitoring your baby. Well, we have experienced continuous disconnects from our devices, had to factory reset it including each app on all of our devices more then 3 times since we have started using it in August. Have had 3 support calls with Netgear to resolve the issues. The last call 2 weeks ago, my wife's account was not connecting at all so we did a reset, removed her account, re-added her account, and as of now we haven't had any issues. I'm just not exactly thrilled with the connectivity and reliability of this device and would much like to check out the Nest Camera.

It relies on internet so the delay is a really big issue, but it has great quality picture and features. Sometimes the take a picture option doesn't work and it didn't really advertise that it had it so it was a nice surprise. I just wish it was more reliable. I don't know if I will have a 10 sec delay or 5. I don't know if it is going to always turn on right away or not...but in comparison I am happy with this brand then the others I tried.

Bought to keep an eye on a child’s playroom when I was downstairs. Pulls up camera feed very quickly on my echo show. App is very efficient. Also love that it give me a humidity and temperature s. Only downside is notifications, I had to turn them off because when my son was playing every time he moved I got both an email and push notification. Seems a little excessive. Other then that great product.

Great piece of hardware, as it weighs a fair amount. Should keep it from getting knocked over. The app responds quickly and the night vision works quite well. I have noticed a slight lag, 1-2 seconds from when my child cries until the video catches up. With that said, I’d buy it again as the remote access is incredibly helpful!

I was looking for a baby monitor that i could use at home and take on the road. Netgear makes it difficult to move this from place to place however. There is no option to automatically connect to previously connected to WIFI - meaning each time you move it to another location with a different network you have to setup wifi on the device. This is easy enough to do via the ARLO app, but still a pain.

This baby monitor is easy to setup. There is a slight lag like with all network cameras. The app is easy to use. It has so many great features like the playing nursery rhymes, white noise, night light, air quality monitoring, and more. I'm very happy with this entire system.

Got this Arlo Baby on sale for $200 then used it a 10% coupon so got it for a total of $180. Definitely all of the features work on the camera. Would Recommmend if you have the Arlo system or plan on getting it. Works very well with the arlo system no lag time using the features in the app. Doesn’t make sense if you don’t have it since they are other cameras out there that are cheaper.

I've been waiting for this camera since netgear announced it at the CES in Las Vegas. This camera outperforms every single baby camera out there. It has some lag time when viewing it live but it's only 2 second on my phone, and that's normal. The quality picture is outstanding. The only two features they need to upgrade are the normal values of air quality and temperature. The need to figure out when it's abnormal to show the normal/abnormal range. Other than that it's a great baby camera.

Love this camera, but it takes some practice. The setup is easy and the experience is great, but don’t expect smooth sailing if you take it with you to use in other places. Resetting it up on new networks is not plug and play, and if you WiFi is bad this camera is useless. But as long as you are using it mostly at home and you have a good WiFi signal it’s a great camera, and a much better value than nest or Logitech given the free cloud storage option.

I like that it has humidity, air quality and temperature monitoring. And the alert system is great. Biggest issue is the 5-7 second delay / lag in live streaming. I tried both support ways being the same network and as well as LTE connection when not at home. The delay was horrible and to a point it that 10 seconds adds up to about 30 to seconds if you are in a diferent floor and baby is upstairs. Couldn't mess with delay and had to return it

Got this for my brother for his new born baby we tested and I was amazed of the features that this small camera can do music room temperature motion detection air quality and more grate stuff

Camera has very good quality and features, but the battery doesn’t last long.

An innovative and useful product. Easy to use and acccess. Perfect item for new parents.

Perfect to watch and keeps me sane so I can play with my older one while the baby sleeps
