I was not that impressed with all of the bugs and failures of Assassin's Creed Unity. However, "Rogue" was very entertaining and I highly recommend the game. It plays very similar to Assassin's Creed 4 and has an interesting story. Being able to play from a Templar's perspective was a nice change of pace and hopefully this game can make up for all of Unity's short comings.

Released on the same day as Unity, Rogue fortunately was able to escape the bug and glitchfest that plagued it's next gen cousin. The game is practically a reskin of Black Flag but it is ok as that game was quite phenomenal. In this installment you take control of Shay Cormac, a Assassin turned Templar who hunts his former brethren after being dismayed with his master's mission.
A must buy for AC fans and a solid rent for action fans and open world games. This also actually worked when it launched unlike Unity so major points to it.

After all the disappointing reviews of AC Unity, my fiance who loves the AC universe, was disappointing and saddened that she would not get to enjoy the story. Then along comes rouge which shows us a whole new side of the AC universe story, as well as gameplay that pulls from a host of previous AC's. Excellent game. Absolutely get this game over AC Unity. If you sold your ps3 for a ps4...then shame on you. :)

After buying Unity and being disappointed I decided I needed to play Rogue. Not disappointed all the things I love about Rogue with a few differences redeemed UbiSoft, only thing that was annoying was the slight change in controls, should have left it the way it was. Other than that the story line was great and a new perspective in the AC series which is played out and illogical which is nice.

A fitting end to the America's trilogy

Rogue takes some of the best elements from the series to date, and combines them to make what amounts to be a pretty good game. Renovations for income are back, the land and sea aspects are better balanced and more useful, the map is bigger, the gameplay is more diverse in that you can play the way you want to, and the story is pretty riveting, if short in comparison.
Not a fan of the ship stuff, but it's better than it was in Black Flag. I think the stalkers are a cool mechanic, but can be incredibly annoying and frustrating sometimes. Plundering ships is still pretty annoying, but it's much more useful this time around. And when compared to it's launch buddy Unity, it's a much more entertaining and glitch-free game.
Overall, it's a satisfying end to the America's trilogy. Still not as good as the Ezio trilogy, but its a solid purchase.

This game is definitely a twist to the story lines of the original games. Definitely more difficult since your fighting the same trained assassin's that you come from. I've played the assassin's creed franchise from day one and always seems to get better

This had a great storyline that really tied into the universe of the Creed games and has multiple hours of content that sometimes are very boring but have available ways to spice things up and hopefully make it less repetitive.

I bought this game for my hubby. He really enjoys the realistic look to the game and the fluid game play. However, be aware, to advance to a level at some point you have to solve the brain teaser. Fun but challenging.

While is follows the same format as all the other AC games, I still found it fun to play. It took all the fun ship parts from Black Flag and gives you plenty of areas to explore. It was a fun little twist to be a templar-like character and fight the assassins instead (but it still plays exactly the same as all other AC games). This is supposed to be the last AC game that will come out on PS3, and while it certainly looks like a PS3 game, it was still a joy to play and I would recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it. I got it on sale for $20 and that price was certainly worth it.

I would say this is about average for the Assassin Creed game line. I felt that Black Flag was much better overall as compared to Rogue. The game still has a lot to offer for gaming fun. As with all games, you need to have some things different to keep the attention of the buyer. For those who are avid Assassin Creed game players ... the story continues along with the fun. I give it a 3.5 out of 5..

Having played every Assassin's Creed to Date including the hard to play PSP one, I can confidently say this is the best Assassins Creed story wise to date. Though the Ship gameplay was weaker than Black Flag and the Wilderness gameplay was weaker than AC3, the story for this title had the most to offer of any of the titles to date. There were definately some minor annoyances such as any time any npcs said the word Luck, the main character would almost instantly respond with "I make my own luck."

Positives: Interesting take on corruption in the order and life on the other side. Pretty solid graphics for ps3 game. A lot of the best features from AC4 (imho the series' best title).
Negatives: Felt too much like AC4, and the characters are too different to behave in the exact same manner (picking bar fights et al).
Overall, for the $20 I picked it up for I feel it was well worth the play.
