I get my gigabit speeds and low latency when using speedtest.net. If I run into issues I will update my review, but I am using it right now to type up this review. Absolutely worth it in my honest opinion. We will see how it performs, and if I still have the random disconnects from games that I was having with the onboard ethernet. If I do then I think I have a bigger problem. This device appears to be functioning as it should, and if I ever need a 10G connection, and a board that I use doesn't have it, I can just re-use this.

Do some research first before getting into the 10G. I bought this thinking it will make my internet speed 10G faster. Find you I need a modem, switch, and Ethernet cable that can handle that speed and the isp that offer that speed.

Got this to get internet again. It works, i get my speeds. But it fights me from time to time where i need to trouble shoot my system to get internet to this again. And thats with the onboard access actually and purposefully disabled to get great speeds with this device. Also the fact that i have to get drivers via either cd (who has a cd drive on their pc bow a days) or going thru a seperate device and download it to a thumbdrive to download the drivers for it. Absird. Just get me like a 1gb drive in the box, instead of a CD
