Have this hooked up to a PC that my son and I built together. The second HDMI allows him to have the PC and PS4 hooked up at all times. Beautiful picture and response rate. The only negative is the stand seems really flimsy, but we aren't moving it around so it is fine. Shipped in ok packaging, but box wasn't damaged and monitor was fine. I would love to have a second one for myself.

I was looking for a monitor for sub-$300 with quick response time (<3ms) and excellent picture quality. This one fit the bill! I purchased both the Asus VS278Q-P and ViewSonic VX2753MH to compare at home as both weren't offered in store and the Asus was head and shoulders better, in my opinion. Sleek, stylish and good-to-go out of the box (which is always a plus). I mounted this on the wall in my office and couldn't be happier with the performance. Great Value!

for the price and size, this is an excellent monitor. I would recommend it to everyone.

I bought this monitor for 1 thing gaming and as soon as I plugged it in and got everything set up I was VERY pleased with the quality of GFX(and of course there refresh rate was AMAZING!), sound (for a monitor) it looks slick I love this monitor. The only thing wrong with mine was the power cord acts up its almost like there is a short cause when you move the power cord it shuts the monitor completely off from power.

Its great thw size and all you just have to know how to configure it. To get amazing results go and configure the nvidia settings to y44 something like that. That frame is kind of big.

Asus VS278Q-P 27 widescreen flat-panel HD monitor: Bright and sharp video, fairly acceptable sound considering low power built-in speaker, two HDMI port plus additional digital and analog input is a big deal for me. I have connected one HDMI port to desktop and other HDMI to the Cable box to watch TV channels. Volume button control could have been little more easier, but after knowing the operation, you can manage. As such many times I use mouse to control audio.

As I noted above I have over 60 of these now for an office of this specific model, and one other Asus monitor. I have yet to have a single problem with any of the monitors, every computer runs dual screens and these monitors are worlds better than the Dells that they replaced. Good color, good setting ranges for adjustment for individual user preferences and so far perfect reliability. I have not had any issues out of the box either. I have zero complaints, and none from any of my users either (which is amazing in general for any product lol).

Picture looks great. Colors are vivid and quality is HD. Happy with my purchase.

...but not great. Purchased to go with my new gaming pc, very responsive but the screen looked washed out and resolution was not as sharp as I would like. Returned and picked up the Dell S2716DG monitor and absolutely LOVE that monitor so far. Much sharper picture due to the 1440p resolution, colors are more vibrant(8 bit), screen not washed out, and ULTRA smooth with the 144hz refresh along with GSYNC. Was able to get the Dell monitor for $599 with price match. Obviously a large difference in the price though, so the Asus is a good monitor for the price, but recommend stepping up if able.

The monitor was great it looks amazing the colors are really impressive . I use it for gaming and is perfect.

For the longest time, I've had dual 19" Dell Monitors. They were very old, so any purchase would have been an upgrade. I've had this monitor for about two month and I absolutely love it! I can multitask with ease and gaming with this monitor is amazing. If I had more table space, I would rock dual screens of this bad boy. So far, I have no regrets.

Bought this as a second monitor to supplement my 32" Sharp TV/monitor that I use on my workstation. It performs great, love the built in speakers and two HDMI inputs. If I had the space for a third monitor, I would purchase another one.

This monitor exceded expectations, The picture is outstandng, colors are excellent and love the refresh rate time. Everquest 2 Looks beautiful on it.

PRO: Great picture, response time, easy set up, bigger than you think.... CON: can't adjust height it is a fixed stand, but does tilt forward and backward

I really think you can go wrong for the money on a monitor like this. Widescreen, 1 ms response time, and great for PC gaming. The prices cannot be beat. Excellent first gaming monitor for my son.

If you are looking for a low cost monitor with a larger screen size, the Asus is a good choice.
